@Trahfk McGhee Speak for yourself. My point is there's a significant increase in the number of garbage artists vs great ones. The ratio is overwhelmingly lopsided, much more than ever before. Of course a few gems will earn their way to the top, but the majority of music today is written by the same song writers, and performed by the most profitable artists, and produced by one of the only 3 major music labels left who control the industry. Universal, Sony, or Warner. Quit drinking the kool-aid.

This song is ment to equate war to a Satanic ritual or black mass and to says that politicians who push there people into needles wars are worshipping the devil.
BS's run of albums from self titled debut Black Sabbath to Sabotage are amazing. There's a few only "ok" songs in there but, mostly magic. Sabbath songs can change on a whim. "Symptoms of the universe" breaking into lovely soliloquy with Ozzy singing his heart out at 4:12 after listening to what was the first example of "death metal" I can think of. "The Writ" setting the ominous mood and erupting into anthem. "Jack the Stripper" after a minute intro gets to rocking. "Planet Caravan" is soft and slow creating images of traveling the darkness of space and was covered beautifully by Pantera with a cool video which I saw for the first time at 2am in my room in the 90s as a teenager possibly altered a tiny bit when MTV still played music videos. "The Wizard" is an amazing song which is covered recently excellently by Brown Sabbath a Mexican Black Sabbath tribute band. It's great. Shoot,I could go on and on as I'm sure most of the commenters can. "Changes" is another great Sabbath song. Charles Bradley covers that beautifully. Just push play on any of those albums and let it play whether it grabs you right away or not. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. It's great workout music too.

Those who came latter cannot imagine what it was like...there was never music like this before, it was completely different from anything before it. I became a fan IMMEDIATELY. You just gotta find the right music for you. There's plenty of options today that are just as great. A song similar to "War Pigs" that was made in the 2000's was System of a Down - B.Y.O.B.
@@hdfjdjify What about in the last 10 years? It's gotten significantly worse.

I love all genres of music, but those 2 games helped me put titles to sounds so much. I had heard the songs, knew the bands by name, but didn't know that they made those songs.
Video games have done so much for spreading genres of music across generations. Aside from GH and Rock Band, I think Skate and the Tony Hawk games have introduced people to genres and eras they never would have otherwise explored.
One of the best things to discover while listening to Sabbath is how crazy the bassist is I play bass and it's crazy as hell so damn jazzy
The drums are so clean in this track, that’s the only descriptive word I can think of, clean.

@@suurmestari7457 Electronic music is real music, but it will never have the blood, sweat, tears, and soul of a group of musicians who have dedicated hours, days, weeks, and years of passion to learning their instruments, developing their own uniquely nuanced sounds and styles, understanding the rich theory of music composition, and actively collaborating with multiple other like musicians to create something unique.
