Bill Ward is the drummer and he absolutely murders the skins. He hits HARD! He and the bass player Geezer Butler defined the groove that's making your head nod.
IMO Sabbath literally has the greatest drummer, bass player and Riff Guitarist ever. And for me, the 2nd greatest front man ever. 2nd only to Freddy Mercury
CoachMikesFilmRoom that’s true Freddy is the greatest all time front man. I would put Robert Plant and Ozzy very close second. Idk about the other the ones you said because best guitarist IMHO is either Jimmy Paige or Jimi Hendrix. Even tho I can name several, Bass player tho? "Iron Man"! "N.I.B."! "Children of the Grave"! "The Wizard"! "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath"! "Sweat Leaf"! and for Halloween, "Black Sabbath" ... the 2014 remasters sound great.

Awesome memories of jamming out to that song with friends back in high school in the late 80's while enjoying some extracurricular activities. ;) That opening harmonica.... This is got to be one of the most entertaining reaction videos I have ever seen!! I kind of stumbled across it because I was searching for reactions to the song itself "Fairies Wear Boots"! I have been listening to that song since it first came out in the early 70s! First of all one of the best heavy metal jams of all time it still gives me goosebumps and making me scream at the top of my lungs to this day when I hear this song! And for a minute I thought he was going to mess up the best part of the song by interrupting it to wonder why he went to the doctor! But he heard every word and reacted so perfectly that I had to come down and make this comment, even though I know it's probably a year or so since this video has been posted! And just for the record he could have been smoking his weed laced with something else, hence, it being able to make you trip! 😝😝😝😝
Loved your reaction to the “smoking & Tripping” part. Lol. That was classic. Watched it a couple times laughing over & over again. Glad to see your enjoying some good olde Metal music. Hard to beat Black Sabbath to give you a proper indoctrination to the arts! There’s many, many, many more to Enjoy!

ParadigmDLE nah for bass you have to go with Billy Sheehan, people literally call him the Eddie Van Halen of Bass. And then my guy Eddie for guitar
Geezer and Bill are my number one rhythm section. Love Bill's off-kilter swing and Geezer's grooving melodic lines.

with the little intro he did as well its cool as
he should really listen to black Sabbath by black sabbath in their debut album called black sabbath
