Hi guys. You do seem to attract the weirdos when you’re out and about don’t you lol. We lived with a girl from Derry when we were students 30+ years ago and she swore by Tayto crisps. Beautiful beaches and thankfully you got to see them in a bit of sunshine. Friday night has to be curry night lol. Looked yum x

Thanks for video Stew and Jane . Excellent, as usual!👍 You have certainly brought back memories. A lot of my generation would have been sent to the Dingle Peninsula, or similar, to attend Irish College every summer during our mid teens. This was to improve our Irish conversational skills. It was a right of passage. We would have cycled in groups around the areas you’ve travelled many times in similar weather! Very familiar scenes! I’ve been back there many times since.
Wow I bet that was a great memory with all those views although I am sure at times you would get soaked Glad you like the video and thanks for commenting

I saw the dolphin on the telly years ago and thought I'd love to go there and see him. Lovely colourful buildings there, really nice. Definitely agree about out of season travelling. So much better with far less people about. Beautiful scenery on the drive. Gorgeous. Hopefully we will get to Ireland one day.
I was watching for him and then read he was last seen a couple of years ago - doh The country has your name all over it out of season - thanks for watching

Well now, getting straight to the Tayto topic, we at parties do sandwich bags with bags of cheese and onion taytos and two slices of white bread in them. I love smokey bacon and to be honest cheese and onion my week point ha ha,can't resist. I send them to my brother every Christmas. Isn't Kerry so beautiful, they call it The Kingdom. What a beautiful treat with the beaches. We saw Fungi a couple of times, bless him. Thanks for another lively video, that dinner looked scrumptious. Stu might take up the idea of doing the rice on top like that.
Yes I realise it causes a healthy debate about if they are the best crisps but I believed they were to be honest Yes pre cooked rice is the way to go so much faster and easier to do Thanks for watching and commenting - only found out fungi had gone and there was me dolphin spotting lol
@getawaygeese such sadness over Fungi. Ha ha sorry to say, I don't like Walkers crisps, taste isn't strong enough for me. Glad ye enjoyed them. You both really had a fantastic trip here. I've already just said to my daughter, we must bring a few packs of the rice on our next camping trip.

Hi Jane and Stu, it looked like you could spend a day or two in Dingle. A plethora of interesting shops and pubs to investigate, great weather for sitting in the van looking out on the world.
Yes Dingle looked a great town we didn’t spend a huge amount of time there as the weather wasn’t great but lots of different things to see - thanks for watching and commenting

I cycled towards Dingle once (days before internet and 24 hr news) and thought it was quite windy. Later learnt that the tail end of a hurricane was coming in off the Atlantic.

hi. We're really enjoying the irish trip. Am interested in your red jacket Stew. Is it Montane -i if so what model, and is it waterproof as well as lite weight? Thanks Best wishes Nicky and Tim
Yes it’s great in fog as you can see me for Mike’s off lol 😂 it is indeed a Montana but I will take a look tomorrow as it’s in Harry Best thing I bought having had cheap costs before it rain proof and protects for wind. So moved to more expensive rab type shirts and tips and layer up - like I say best clothing item I have bought
Sorry I cleanly forgot to answer your question re coat - I just checked and can’t see any model or design other than it’s a montane gortex lift weight rain coat it was about 200 I seem to recall
