Making a Wall Hanging Cabinet from Hard Wood - No talky, just worky

- No fancy pantsy editing here, just a straight forward build of this wall hanging cabinet I made last year. This is actually the second of this style that I've made, the first from merbau, this one from spotted gum. I used the first one for my router bits, and this is obviously for my drill bits. The shelves are not glued into this cabinet. I left them unglued so that I could slide them in and out, for instance if I wanted to take all the Forstner bits inside the house, I can just take the entire shelf with me. Plus, when I buy new bits I'll need different holes and slots in the shelves to store them, so I figured I'd leave them sitting loose.

Awesome craftsmanship Mario. And a new style of no talking video.. Love it
Thanks Jesper, not sure if it is new style, or lazy style, but hey, I like cabinet so wanted to show the build at least 😄
Simple project, but high quality and elegant and functional...Great!! Thanks for sharing
Thanks Rosario, it is a simple project but you're right, it certainly looks nice up on the wall. 😊
Lovely work, great craftsmanship Mario.
Cheers Dirk, appreciated 👍
And I was wrong, I though your drill bit cabinet would be boring 🤣
Awesome work @thewoodfather
Ahahaha, i can't say I like this style of video to be honest, but thought it was worth a crack 😊 Cheers Paul!
Very nice Mario. I like the locking joints. I need something similar for my router bits.
It's a nice little cabinet, might have a photo of the router one up on Insta somewhere. Probably more useful for router bits that it is for drill bits I'd say. 👍
Nice build and nice pace to the video. Nice locking joinery too. Thanks for the tip on the perspex clips.
Cheers Ben, yep, they're very handy. Maybe not for a high end project, but work a treat in a shop project. 👍 Search eBay/Amazon for 'picture frame turn buttons' or similar.
Nice looking cabinet nearly to good to be in the work shop. Go the blues. Steve tas.
🤞 for an Easter win tomorrow Steve! 👍👍
Good work there, Mario. Nicely built 👌
Thanks Suj 👍👍
Awesome build mate, a lovely bit of craftsmanship for all to enjoy, and caters for all languages too!
ahahah, cheers Sam, woah, I guess I'm Mr Worldwide now 😂
👍 nice
cheers Harki 👍
Looks great!
Cheers John, much appreciated 👍
Too pretty! Now you have to upgrade all your shop furniture to match... 😅
That's a bit of work, maybe i'll just throw this out 😄
@@woodfather 😂🤣
Awesome build dude. Love it
Cheers Manny, thanks!
Very relaxing Video Mario. You could whack the #asmr tag on it. I noticed the music was synced to the action in spots which was a nice touch and the finished product was really satisfying. Good work.
ahahaha, cheers for the tip, I'll do that 😂

@@Saw-IT ahahahaha, happy little accident 😂
@@woodfather Statistically it is pretty common to have beat and scene changes at the same time. Your brain subconsciously looks for them. I thought you added a couple. :)
@@Saw-IT oh the syncing to the beat was very definitely on purpose 😄 I was laughing at the name of the song 😂
