Just leaving this here for myself and if one of you guys find it helpful.
    (2 minutes) - R1 - Straight punches - 50% - 75% Intensity
    Rest (1 Minute)
    (2 minutes) - R2 - Combinations and end with a hook - 70% - 80% intensity
    Rest (1 minute)
    (2 minutes) - R3 - 3 punch combinations - 70% - 95/100% intensity
    Rest (1 Minute)
    (2 minutes) - R4 - Freestyle 100% intensity
    Tips for the heavy bag:
    1. Not every punch has to be a bomb, mix it up
    2. Think about punches coming back at you. (Guard high, slipping, rolling etc.)
    3. Feinting (good for muscle memory in actual fights)
    4. Move your head before and after punches
    5. Dont stand in one spot move around the heavy bag
    6. Dont only throw headshots, go for the body aswell

@@Tony_Jeffries in the first round whichever straight punch combination was allowed so I tried something like changing heights like one to the head, one to the body, not big deal but I'm relatively new in this, not too flashy but effective, in the second round I let it lose a little, specially in the hook at the end and maybe that was my mistake for the third and fourth rounds, in the third one the vast majority of three punches combinations that I (unfortunately) know end in a hook, like a moment to shine I was hitting with everything (my mistake) and the one minute rest flew really fast, so in the fourth round I was doomed and creepled 🤣 my 100% looked more like a 70% at most, even "dropping some lead on the bag" some big haymakers to make me feel not so bad but really, really tired...
It was a killer despite being "only" two minutes per round.

@@Tony_Jeffries quick question. When hitting the bag. Is it ok to go 100% on the heavy bag or will that eventually takes its toll on your wrist? Mike Tyson used to hit the heavy bag at a high level all time as hard as he could.

Great video with a detailed explanation to the art of punching a heavy bag for the beginners, but I think you should also focus on the boxers who are past the beginners level. Maybe give more advanced exercises or workouts.

I never use gloves, or even wraps when I hit the bag. Call it hand and wrist conditioning.

Could you explain how to do a proper jab? Is there a snap at the end how do you generate the power of a job effectively.
