GILTHEAD BREAM FISHING - FISH OF A LIFETIME.

To be our last-ditch effort to catch the elusive Gilt Head Bream, and with the time againts us here in Sussex, we decided to venture down to the beautiful Kingsbridge Estuary, south Devon to target these amazing Mediterranean fish.
Several fish came to the net, with one north of 8lb!!!
Beautiful Day with great company and amazing scenery.

What a fish . Well done, I've been trying a couple of years now down on that particular estuary and only had them to a couple of pound, so I'm full of gilthead envy. Well done on returning the fish too

Awesome that’s an absolute monster didn’t know they got that big! I’m gonna head down soon. Based on the wind we’ve had this last few weeks i feel like conditions like that are a myth 😂 shows how important a bouyed quick release anchor is 💪🏼
