I do love the simplicity from rod set up, baits, seasoning, and the catch and cook.
That Bream looked absolutely gorgeous, served up simply on a stone plate.
A lot of fishermen call it the vent, Jay’s colourful description “The Butt Hole”😂😂😂😂

I must say I love your content. I've lived in Spain for more than 30 years and eaten lots of Gilthead. Once went fishing at Cabo de Gata in Almeria and caught about 30 in one day, turned out there was a fish farm whose retention wall had broken, Giltheads everywhere. That said, I also caught something apparently called a zebra sea bream, which was a billion times a better eater than the giltheads. Good luck with your channel.

That fish was interesting to see out of the water and looked fantastic when cooked. Solid firm meat that held up on the grill! You can't beat the scenery or the sound of the waves. Magic! What a great way to start my day! 😁🐟

Gilthead is some of my fave fish it really is ... normally I'd go with a Beurre Blanc sauce to finish a gilt but your simple Olive Oil & Seasoning would be superb too, when the fish is that fresh. Might also try "en papillote" ("in paper"), which is a great way of BBQ fish without risking it blowing away or getting kicked over, or whatever. If ever you wanna try it just give me a shout and my fiancée and I will run you through it if you don't already know, although I dare say you do as you seem super knowledgeable.
You've now encouraged me to learn to beach fish, once we move to the (north Kent) coast (which will hopefully happen sometime in the coming couple of months, fingers crossed).

That fish looked amazing and looked nice when it was cooked (simple cooking with not too many spices always enhances the flavour of the meat). The black bream you put back looked like it stole my camouflage jacket. Again nice views and great entertainment, thanks for posting.
