AUTUMN BASS FISHING - ON THE LURE - FISHING VLOG8

Bass fishing is generally better in the Autumn in the south, and on the Sussex coast, we have some great places to access and target these silver bars on the kayaks.
Fishing out from Bognor, and with the sea temperature dropping, its one of the last chances of bagging some silver bars before the on-set of winter......and the rough conditions we see this time of year!
The forecast looked great, water clarity perfect, with little wind......... but could we connect with those "spikey" predators?

With an unseasonable calm spell resulting in flat calm seas, and gin-clear waters, we decided to take advantage of the weather window and have a trip out onto "BOGNOR ROCKS". Our targets were mainly Bass, Wrasse, Cod, and Pollock on the lures, as always the "Sussex Reef" did not disappoint! Hope you Enjoy

Once again you find us fishing for Gilthead bream out from Poole Harbour. with the conditions not that favourable, we decided to have a go anyway for these "gold bars" that would soon be migrating back west to warmer waters! As always, poole harbour never fails to disappoint, and this session was no different! Hope you enjoy

Gilt head bream fishing in the beautiful Poole harbour. conditions were less than ideal with winds gusting to 40mph, that said we managed to locate a few good fish........but were they the gold bands we intended to connect with? Thanks for watching

With some unfinished business from a year ago, the "Manacles" was an itch I needed to scratch!. a hastily put-together plan was hatched on a Friday morning with the view to take advantage of the calm weather and small tides, that weekend! 12 hours later we arrived on the beach, then up early to try and connect with these beautiful crash-diving pollock. Recent fishing trip on the Viking profish reload kayak, out from Shoreham by sea, to target summer bass on soft plastics. after finding the birds feeding some way off shore we started to connect with said target species! an absolute red letter day ensued in terms of numbers and quality of fish. Hope you enjoy.

A little session out from Shoreham with the view to try and catch some tope, the first part of gathering mackerel as bait worked, the tope were a little elusive but the session was perfect with both bass and Ray putting in an appearance! Hope you enjoy Thanks for watching

With a break in the weather, I decided to challenge myself out from Shoreham. I could've just targeted the usual wrecks but thought it would be good to see if I could connect with three specific, target species, all available from the port of Shoreham - Plaice, Bass and Bream. This may also be the format for a comp later in the season/next year with Sussex kayak fishing.... what are your though...
