What I learned, is be honest . Don't be fake and lie to people . They will know it right away or find out later . The other big thing is this find something in common with that person . Now you made a friend . You have heard , birds of a feather . You should find something in common in about a minute . by Will
One time I was not sure how to open with new people at a meeting and someone talked about the weather awkwardly and others just stared at the floor and didn't comment. I responded with "Yeah, perfect cold evening to slow the decomposition of corpses" then I smiled and every male there laughed and started being more relaxed. The women stared at me like I was a murderer but the men all liked my comment. Maybe that dark humor sits with men better or something but we all started chatting that night about everything once I opened with that line.
I did a pretty good opener talking about the weather the other day. I knew it was so cliche to talk about it but I also didn't care. It was raining really heavy and I said "pretty nice weather hey" lol.
It’s not girls or guys it’s really both, just meeting anyone, a lot of people are closed off and won’t start a conversation at first, it’s not that they’re not friendly, like at a new job, I feel like I have to constantly be consistent, people act like they didn’t talk to me yesterday and it was cool and I’m just like wtf?

Can you do a video on engaging things to say for those of us who know nothing about sports? Can you show us how to use a few different engaging points of reference? Sports is the go-to discussion for many people, but not for all of us. I wouldn’t know where to begin. Help!

You have very interesting videos mate, the kind of topics I'm interested in, I like the way you develop things and give good and bad example. I wonder though what you do when your peaks of interests are unusual and hard to place in a conversation. I can't see people reacting to "Hey man, have you seen that last video of Barron where he dissects nervousness" or "Hey man, have you read about the problems they have in this or that country where there is a controversy about..." I get that you just explained how this is unimportant and you need to embark the other party on your board of casual confidence but I feel I am missing something important
An amazing first impression is based on how you make them feel. If you have personality you will be able to come up with something. Talking about the weather or anything similar won't leave any impression other than you are a bore.
A video where we can see u creating empathy with your girls - a proper empathy creating conversation and what NOT to converse that doesnt create the empathy..????
I think I might be a little confused on what you mean when you're using the word empathy. What exactly are you trying to improve on with your own conversational skills?

I tend to let other people do most of the talking, I just keep prompting with little questions.
That can make the other person feel like they are being interviewed. You want to interject with your own thoughts and stories as well.
