This has been along the lines of my bipolar theory for years. I've been studying it because my family's been plagued by it for decades...if not more.

Yep, me and my son both have had this.

I had something like this, I would have severe migraines due to MCAS and they would concuss my brain a little each time. Several days after, I would always act like I had a concussion: angry, irrational, etc. It wasn’t full on psychosis but it was on that spectrum of what he described.

I too had a similar incident. For a second my boss thought I was having a stroke of some sort. It definitely made me paranoid for the following week.

The out of nowhere irrational anger (to sadness after all the anger is out) and lingering anxiety are my common reaction after a large amount of allergens (that and sleeping for two days almost straight) along with severe migraines (which I always have a migraine they just get amped up). Seeing that it's not just me and my brother with medical professionals talking about is so validating.

It's possible that happens when u drink lots and in a couple hours u have a psicotic episod because the liver has hormones, alcohol, istamine,...?

It's probably why I feel really positive when I'm hungover sometimes. It's the strangest thing, but it's not predictable so I don't drink.

I've also been through it. Thankfully I don't get it anymore since I changed my diet to avoid histamine and food sensitivities.

I can't give medical advice unfortunately but you have to work with a practitioner who addresses the underlying issues like Lyme and inflammation and can also address the histamine issues

I had this happen still do. I was abruptly stopped on clonopazam 3mg after taken as prescribed daily 12 years. My life sucks so bad. I’m 20 months out and barely hanging onto life. I can’t eat sleep relax due to histamine intolerance and akathisia.

Does anyone take antihistamines, would it help?

I got misdiagnosed with schizophrenia and in addition my family actively are actively involved in covertly supporting it because they are biased against me personally calling them out for their misdeeds. What would be the best step since the only hospital I have access to has dismissed all my symptoms as related to the schizophrenia?

@@Filthycoffin @Filthycoffin I would suggest; seeing an immunologist & preferably a functional medicine physician.
MCAS & HISTAMINE INTOLERANCE OTC PROTOCOL:
      TAKE AN H1 BLOCKER
Benadryl, an H1 receptor antagonist that also increases diamine oxidase (DAO) production, is better taken at night since it induces sleepiness. In fact, it is also sometimes used as an occasional sleep aid [83, 84].
Benadryl may also decrease anxiety and increase serotonin in the brain, similar to SSRI antidepressants. In fact, many antidepressants and antipsychotics were developed based on its chemical structure [85].
PICK AN HERBAL H2 BLOCKER from the list below. You can try out & find which works well for you. I find nettles are fantastic & I prefer stinging nettle, Ginger, Chamomile (at bedtime, great for anxiety), elderberry, Quercetin & Vit C.
      Evidenced H2 Blockers
      1) Quercetin
      2) Elderberry
      3) Nettles
      4) Chamomile
      5) Ginger
      6) Peppermint
      7) Black Seed
      8) Yarrow
      9) Lemon Balm
      10) Marshmallow Root
      11) Slippery Elm
      12) Holy Basil
      13) Licorice Root
NOW CHOOSE A MAST CELL STABILIZER.
      Mast Cell Stabilizers (MCS)
      1) Amalase Enzymes
      2) Quercetin: (MCS, H2-B)
      3) Astragalus: (MCS)
      4) Perilla: Mast Cell Stabilizer
      5) Black Seed: (MCS, H2-B)
      6) Baical Skullcap: (MCS)
These ADDITIONAL SUPPLEMENTS can be added if need be. Increasing DAO would be ideal.
      * Methylated B vitamins & supplements such as DMG and TMG can help reduce histamine levels.
      * Carnosine is a naturally occurring dipeptide and has been shown to protect mast cells from degranulation and histamine release.
Beef kidney glandular: High in DAO (diamine oxidase). DAO is one of the enzymes that breakdown histamine. Beef kidneys are also rich in vital building blocks, bio-regulators, significant amounts of selenium and vitamin B12, making it a high-quality nutrient bomb. Selenium supports the immune system and contributes to the protection of cells against oxidative damage. Suggested use: Take 10 minutes before histamine-rich foods.
