Creatine helped me. It was one of the supplements that helped me turn the corner.
Where do you feel limbic system dysregulation, trauma and all those other aspects come into play here? I see many recover fully by working on their limbic and nervous system. Without even doing anything on the physiological side.
Tough to detox when you react to the heat, I get severe angioedena when I go in a sauna.
Try red light therapy. It’s wonderful. It’s warm, it not hot. I hope it will help. Also it’s great for the eyes.
Yet another amazing and very informative session. Thank you!
Glad you’re liking the videos! - Team Dr. A
So for long covid, it seems the spike protein is hanging in the body and we can’t detox it so we basically get MCAS?
The supplement DAO works really well.
For you.
Agree! I'm taking 8 mgs. DAO with each meal and feel better than I've felt in decades. I can still eat healthy foods this way, but make sure I don't eat more than one high histamine food at the same meal and limit the amount of those foods.
What kind of dr would know this ?
Some people get worse with fasting if they have CFS/ME. Is there a safer way to fast for these people?
That's a good question, we’ll put it on the list for future discussions -Team Dr.A
Thank you for this video. I do always feel best when I am on low carb/ keto diet. I was able to be well controlled for years by reducing greatly my carb count.
I'd be curious how the mycotoxins can be removed from the body.
Same
Fantastic TY!
Yet still sad that I completely understand this video contents. Exhausting!
Fantastic,thankyou
Excellent breakdown, thank you!
Absolutely, thanks for your support!
Fisetin has been helping me along with Zyrtec and Pepcid.
Did you try Quercitin?? In family of Fisetin
Mast cell activation syndrome in long COVID-19 MCAS is characterized by mast cell hyperactivation and excessive chemokine release (histamine, tryptase, carboxypeptidase A, and chymase).
and more! mast cells release1000 chemicals and so do lots of other immune cells. If your liver is slow to detox, then all those chemicals keep interacting with each other doing who knows what ... total chaos!
@@qingdaogrrl As do senescent cells in the elderly, Senolytic supplements are available, such as, Fisetin, apigenin, quercetin, curcumin, etc.
I put a dash of tumeric in my coffee and have soymilk organic in the morning, i been dealing with brain fod memory fog in perimenapause , and had covid not that long ago , i also been dealing with teeth issues, I do not take hmt , its been rough , i do fast and change up my diet , i also have a cow milk allergy, this video helps thank you
Hi, carnivor diet, low histamine foods may be helpful. I’m on it, when I started couldn’t handle meat so I was on ketogenic GAPS. It has change my life. No dairy no eggs, cannot add any fermented foods. Has improved brain fog so much. I still cannot do math, but I can read an learn now😊
@@Maria-uw1wq please eat resistant starch! Keto and carnivore caused my MCAS by killing my microbiome. The first year was great, but I got sick and by the second year I was fully disabled. My doctor was a keto advocate and watched me get very ill and gaslit me the whole time!
@@melissak7798 Thanks for sharing, I cannot have starches, have not digested them for years now. I get slowly better on keto/carnivore. I agree dairy, eggs, shellfish are very triggering so I avoid them. Also fasting triggers MCAS, Lion Diet also made pain and fatigue so much worse. Key for me is to detox slowly
@@melissak7798Im pretty sure this is what happened to me too! Looked and felt great on carnivore, but became overreactive to any other kind of food and got histamine intolerance and gut issues!
@@Maria-uw1wqfasting does not trigger MCAS lol, in fact, it usually helps those issues in people. Also, eggs are not triggering for everyone, some of these things depend on the individual…
Thank you for all these ideas. 🎉
I have a th2 dominance and cannot take quercetin.
What do you think about probiotics, doc A?
My daughter had that and our functional neurologist put her Apex Energetics X-FLM. I don’t know if that will help or not. It’s to help with immune system. She’s had POTS.
could you do a video on prescription drug induce lupus?
Google apigenin and lupus.
I have very low glutathione & severe mcas issues. But when I take glutathione supplements- I react poorly.
So do I... glutathione makes me feel ill.😢
Eat asparagus... naturally high in glutathione
Can High dose Vit C IV's help the gut? reduce candida symptoms? Going in for 6-8 rounds severely v injured.
If I fast and my symptoms become too bad within the first 48hrs, is it safe to take Prednisone to help get me through? Or can it make things worse at all?
Great advice. My question is if there is a blood pressure medication that does not increase the histamine.
I use telmistartan and propranolol and I think they work well.
@SomeGuyCalledOdin Telmistartan is that I take now and I have histamin issue with it.
Thank you Dr. Anderson. Not sure about the sauna, as heat or cold can be a trigger; is it something that should be done when it's stable or just go ahead at any time?
Has anyone tried red light therapy? I have mcas and am also detoxing from oxalates. I just started with it and I slept 6:56 really well. I also have dry eye and early stage macular degeneration. I also like buterate for IBS and NAC.
Red light, yes. + 1yr, re: oxylates, no chocolate no spinach. That's about only oxylate reduction efforts
I have a big red light/IR and have done all the areas where I’m having issues over months and it didn’t help. It did help with wrinkles and cellulite, and especially sun damage.
Is histamine intolerance same as mast cell disorder?
No it is not
How can we determine on our own if it’s mast cell disorder or histamine intolerance? The symptoms for both overlap.
Why is it that people with MCAS burn antioxidants in their system faster then people who don't have it? Why is that?
because the antioxidants are trying to help put out fire so they get used up in the process
So for long covid, it seems the spike protein is hanging in the body and we can’t detox it so we basically get MCAS?
That’s what it sounds
Like
@@ItBetterBeFast covid is special. it reanimates dormant viruses, bacteria, mold infections. it causes CFS cuz it fits into cortisol receptors. we need more studies!
I think long COVID accelerates an already existing problem with Histamine. I always had a Histamine issue and post COVID it morphed into long COVID and histamine issue is even worse. My body burns, burning feet and fatigue. 😢
@@01maggie histamine messed me up for a while, couldn’t have anything high histamine with heart palpitations, dizziness, dpdr, tremors, etc. wierd stuff….
So for long covid, it seems the spike protein is hanging in the body and we can’t detox it so we basically get MCAS?
that's just one of the theories. you might have had a genetic predisposition for it and borderline symptoms throughout your life in the first place.
@@drzeworyj idk about that. People that get the vaccine and long covid seem to have the same symptoms. I have had covid 2 times before this with no issues. The last one something just shifted. Besides the symptoms of MCAS i have much more and they don’t seem to be going away.
@@joealitz4157agreed . Certain section of long Covid pll have Al similar issues like mcas , muscle twitching autoimmune issues hypermobility
