9:54- Also the moment he loses the mask, his Pteranodon form looks far less intimidating- the full metallic look giving it a menace it normally doesn't have.
On a more serious note, the reason why King (Alber) lost outside of Zoro's power boost- is that he lacks convictions- he doesn't fully commit to his Devil Fruit to Awaken it- switching to his natural Lunarian traits the moment his guise is torn away- but he hides in the first place out of a desire to hide himself from people wanting him dead- subtly hinting he doesn't have open pride in his heritage and willing to let himself be a pawn of Kaido's despite having a codename for a ruler- despite not being a Conqueror in any shape or form.

Maaan, there's so many good designs in One Piece, I don't know who my favourite is. Hmmm... .... .... .... it's either pre-timeskip Franky because the hawaiian shirt+ Ace Ventura hair combo is great or Perona because hot goth girl. Honorable mentions: Shaka because Daft Punk is awesome and Katakuri for being an edgy badass.

This isn't some deep anaylsis on my part but the reason for Sengoku being a buddah I believe is pretty simple. If my memory serves me right Buddah was originally a prince. He had duties that required him. But it was only by giving up these earthly shackles he was able to reach enlightenment. It is only after marineford that Sengoku is shown laughing and having fun. In a sense it is only NOW that he has reached his enlightenment. But there is another possible reason. What has Sengoku done in the story after the timesip? In Dressrosa he was the one to impart the truth of Corazon's love to Law. And lastly he is the one who revealed the whole Rocks pirate thing. I believe both of these emphasis Sengoku being a teacher of sorts. He is offering enlightenment to others in a way.
I am not a big anaylsis guy. I'm sure a lot of other people would be able to give more thoughtful and elegant answers. If I had to chose my favorite design I'd probably have to go with Calgara. I just think he looks cool.
