Iron Maiden is so cool live I remember seeing them in 2010 for their final frontier tour and they were amazing. They aren’t just amazing musicians they are also incredible performers the guitarists were throwing their guitars in the air and catching them. It was crazy how much energy they have live considering how old they are now.

Great reaction and good insight on this video. Welcome to the amazing rabbit hole or vortex that is Iron Maiden. I personally have seen them during 5 different decades live, including last summer. Worth it every time. My advice: listen to the studio version first, then the live versions; always have the lyrics available. Some songs are actually better live, 'Fear of the Dark' at Rock in Rio is a good example of a live song better than the original. I would also argue that the live version you just watched is as good as the studio version, but not all live versions of 'Hallowed Be Thy Name' are equal. Enjoy not just Iron Maiden's giant hits but dive deeper and you will be rewarded with songs that are true gems that appeal to you and maybe not everyone else. Iron Maiden are not the typical metal band and their song subjects reflect their style. Most of the songs are based on history, books, movies or personal events. Some of the earlier songs on the first two albums were a bit here and there as the original lead singer had a more punk style, while Bruce is more epic sounding. Bassist Steve Harris is the composer of the songs and writes alot of them, Singer Bruce writes songs as does guitarist Adrian. Please react to more classic rock/metal music. Bands like Heart (Magic Man, Crazy on you, Barracuda, Dog and Butterfly); Kansas (Carry on Wayward Son, Dust in the Wind, The Wall, Closet Chronicles, Hold On); Boston (The entire debut album starting at song 1 and just react to them one after another; worth it); plus dozens of other Rock and Metal bands. Hi Jhoan, thank you for the reaction to one of my favorite bands, Iron Maiden. As you said they are one of the pioneers in heavy metal and inspired a lot of newer heavy metal bands, but that's not all.... They are exceptional live and very energetic as well as a beast in storytelling. Now that you have done Hallowed Be Thy Name, i would suggest you react to this song from them...

It's a history about the war in Scotland where they fought for their freedom, and you will see the drummer dancing as well as Bruce dance with the guitarist Jannick Geer. Amazing stage performance to say at least and the crowd is unbelievable huge. A sea of people just enjoying one of the best heavy metal bands ever in my honest opinion. The concert is from 2001, so a long time after the 1982 concert you just reacted to, but they are just getting better and better. by the way they are still touring today so welcome to the rabbit hole.

2023 play Iron Maiden at the Wacken Open Air as Headliner and all Member of Maiden are order than 65 years this Song is from 1982 and is still in the Liveset

Why is it SOOO much fun to watch a person's brain meltdown to re-acting to Maiden? You can physically SEE it happening!! Metallica and Megadeth have songs that do it, (One, Fade to black The four Horsemen, All of Rust in Peace, Peace sells but who's buying........) Shit, I am showing my age!!
