  • The King's Man, Matthew Vaughn's latest entry into the globe-trotting super-spy Kingsman franchise, takes the series into hitherto uncharted territory: it's set against the backdrop of the burgeoning First World War, its cartoonish action backdropped by the real-life tragedies of the greatest conflict in human history. The movie uses a lot of artistic license in depicting friends and foes from the time - from Vladimir Lenin, to King George V, right through to Rasputin (Rhys Ifans), who takes center stage as a main antagonist.
Collider is delighted to exclusively share a behind-the-scenes clip from the upcoming home release of The King's Man, which you can watch below. It focuses on the preparation behind, and making of, one of the movie's best scenes: Ifans' Rasputin, a notoriously good dancer, goes toe-to-toe with the Duke of Oxford (Ralph Fiennes) and his spy-in-training son, Conrad (Harris Dickinson) in a duel to the death. But there's a twist: Rasputin twists and dances like a Barynya dancer, dodging the others' attacks with pizzazz that could, at any other time, land the lecher with a role on Dances With The Stars.
Along with Fiennes, Dickinson, and Ifans, Gemma Arterton, Djimon Hounsou, Matthew Goode, and Charles Dance round off the all-star cast.
The King’s Man will be available on Digital February 18 and on 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD February 22. Additionally, for fans of the stylish spy series, comes The Kingsman Collection. All three films, with bonus features, together for the first time. The collection will be available digitally on February 18, and as a collectible steel book on February 22. Here's a full list of bonus features available on the home release:

This fight coreography is one of the most creative that i ever saw. Rasputin is a beast with a ballet dancer feet, he should have been the main antagonist of this movie

I can easily pick out any shot from any fight where the stunt double is “fighting” rather then the actor who they need to be in shot for the closeups and angles showing their face.
I was really impressed by the choreography in this scene because Vaughn and the camera crew did a fantastic job masking the stunt doubles face whilst pulling off the illusion that it’s Rhyh ifans all along. Especially the shots consisting of high spots such as the spinning dance on the table, that’s obviously a stunt double but Vaughn’s editing is exquisite as it is flawless. The transition of cutting between the stunt double then cutting to shots of Rhys in the frame is so fluid. A thoroughly good fight scene from a really good film. Enjoyed every bit of it.

@Derp Derp Yes I noticed. Man of Steel does it flawlessly especially in the fight between Zod & Jor-El. I could tell when it’s not Russell Crowe and Michael Shannon telegraphing the choreography because I have a keen eye but still the editing is seamless I agree.

THE RUSSIAN DANCE SCENE IS SO GENIUS. and yah....Asian countries or Eastern Europe and also some South American and African countries really used fighting styles as dances and to me that's the nost amazing way to not only have a lot of fun but a way to keep fighting styles and cultural dances alive for a long time.

Unf****** believable that director Matthew Vaughn invites dancers from Georgia to manage choreography of dance and calls them Russians. BOOOOOO.... To End discussion whos dance been used Russian or Georgian here's what Rasputin(Rhys Ifans) himself says : Even these highly trained stunt men couldn’t pull [the moves] off, so we had to get a couple of Georgian dancers in from Georgia. And these guys trained from the age of two to do these moves. It takes an incredible kind of core to cross a room with your [butt] two inches off the floor.
    Rhys Ifans
So yes baseline of Rasputins fight is made of Georgian national dance with Swards, u can see on you tube....
