This period of clothing and overall aesthetic is by far my favorite. The architecture, furniture and interior design included. This is quality craftsmanship and tradition in its purest form.
It's victorian???
The European Golden Age. It started going downwards after WWII
@@mikhael.j7 no. It’s later most likely Edwardian to ww1 eras
EXACTLY
Exactly well said
The Lady in this video (Michele Clapton) is incredibly articulate. She also has such a unique personal dressing style. A true talent. Matthew Vaughn did a fantastic job finding her for this project.
So much respect for people who dedicate their lives to recreating the authenticity of a time period. Requires a lot of patience and knowledge and just general curiousity/passion for your craft. Hard to find these kind of people nowadays!
Especially of time periods long before their birth. Imagine being as delicate and detailed as Michelle is but with the Viking Era.
I find the clothing in any given film is something my eye fixates on throughout, and in this particular series, I absolutely love the style and colours of the garments.
The way her mind works when coming up with the costume designs and how to make them both modern and periodically accurate to the story is fascinating. I hope one day I can be as creative and good at the skill as she is 👏🏽🤩
I love all Kingsman movies. All of the outfits looked so good in the movies. Dapper, formal, and effortless. She did a great job on The King's Man. Hope to see more of these gentlemen in the future.
This was an amazing watch and Michele articulated herself wonderfully.
I absolutely love this Kingsman Old Fashioned looks.
Man Looks spectacular in Suit instead of Pants, Shirts and Jackets.
Generous ❤️
Would like to suggest Gentlemen's gazette. channel for that classic and timeless fashion.
I really like the how the clothing is wonderfully made and presented. It says a lot about society and about the individual how they cloth themselves. Wonderful video! :)
Agreed!
The things we take for granted in movies. This was amazing to see
Such gorgeous clothes. All classic British in style. And the tailoring is exquisite, especially with the pre-WI twist, I do love a good period drama. Pity it is only menswear sold, I would have loved some womenswear, the fashion plates for Polly looked really interesting, I would have liked to hear more. Anyways really interesting video! Cannot wait to see the movie!
I suspect Polly will feature heavily in a similar themed sequel, so hopefully, if the Kingsman range continues, they’ll be options for the ladies. I’d love it if my partner and I could go on a few dates dressed like this.
I love these videos about Kingsmen/King's Man's wardrobe! It's so well done and and explanation provides so much insight on what the designers were thinking! Great video and can't wait to see the movie!
the way this lady wears the necktie is unbelievable
I think it’s stylish.
All those garments looked absolutely exquisite in the film, well done to the team behind the film, on their dedication towards ensuring all those garments were period accurate to the time, whilst also making them look timelessly suitable for the modern age and beyond.
Who would've thought Voldemort would look so good in a suit
Everybody?
who remembers his umpteen other films ...
He looked pretty good in a suit in the Order of the Phoenix, if you remember.
I can’t wait to see the film now, love fashion and love how this was presented. Simply beautiful ❤️
i hope Mr Porter makes new Kingsman etiquette videos or some other "how to be a gentleman" promo similar to the first movie tie-in
Now this is class and elegance, love it. 👏
Yes, true, there is a channel about that elegance which you can achieve. Gentlemen's gazette.
Always give Excellence a "thumbs up" ! Great job, thanks for sharing and helping us understand the enormous work behind the movie. Details that really make a huge difference.👍
so the design and costumes are so instrinicly beautiful. can't wait to see this!
I really just watched an ad and not knowing until the end.... Good job for the production, well-executed! 🤩
As I watched this movie I thought the wardrobe was classy & cool. Fun movie! Loved it!
Fun movie? I'd say absolutely stupid. Bullshit. At least the interprepation of the Russian history. LOL. Lenin accepting the abdication of Nickolas the Second. )))
Harris is so unbelievably Handsome.
you can tell from her smiles that she genuinely loves her line of work
This woman is an absolute genius!! Her work on Game If Thrones for most of it’s 10 years was unparalleled and everything she works on regarding costumes is spectacular!!
Just Amazing. Well Dun.
Beautiful. Elegance is an understatement.
Just wow this is the work it takes to make great art
I love this so much! I 100% agree. The biggest problem I had with Bridgerton was seeing men's pants stretch. Spandex and Elastane....seriously Shonda?
This was one of the most creative/original movies in a long time
I want a video like this for the first Kingsman movie.
Love how Michelle Clapton wears her tie. Where can I see how to tie it like that?
INCREDIBLE.
1:41 I see they're back at it with the eclipse symbolism. Jolly good show!
Amazing movie, great cast, action, loved the costumes!
Nice, very well done!
Ooooooh, finally another MP x Kingsman collab!!
Brilliant!
Methinks, the Hobo look is the quintessential style for a spy or secret agent. A spy should be... Hardly seen, but always noticed.
4:31 Harris just air piano away
This is beautiful ❤️❤️❤️
How interesting. Great video
Brilliant
Classy and elegant!
Amazing
When is this movie coming out? Like I'm watching these trailers and videos for a century already.
I'm sad you don't have that amazing weighted brown leather jacket for sale. I'd be willing to pay several thousand dollars for it.
looks like a great film
Who filmed this? It's beautiful.
yessss!!!
I loved the movie so much
Hopefully the film also sends a signal to men to dress better
oh, to have the money !
many scenes were shot in the royal palaces of turin in italy
Everything’s gorgeous here..
With the same stock-music, I keep on waiting for a voiceover to say "You're listening to Eureka on Monocle 24, with me Daniel Bach" 😅
look at the style of how she is wearing her tie. does anyone know how to do it?
Could she have gone to Vitale Barberis Canonico? For reference? They have archives since 1664....
English TAailoring is my favorite style.
i will come to kingsman shop
'M' before joining MI6..
Does anyone know what kind of rings she’s wearing? Model/type
I would like to find the uniform hat of the soldeirs , the one wich is in the póster (conrad)
✨👏
i cant buy anything because the links are outdated
I used to have the English tailor to Edward VII and I love tailored clothing and high collars
Can I pick your brain?
I swear all the Kingsman movies are Savile Row advertisements
but one day you will visit kingsman shop yourself
Shirt collars suck nowadays. Bring them back! 1920s!
Watched The King's Man in cinema and it was a really good movie 8/10. Think it was the best film of 2021 for me. Sad it was a box office flop for so much effort and work that was done for the movie.
i will come in the future
I'm more excited to see this than Spiderman
You need a village to make a movie.
several
The watch? JL?
Quiero la Kleidung del film für mich
I’m early🥺
🥺
1:12 Jaeger Lecoultre but the wrist watch could have been a British make... like FEARS watches Brunswick heritage since 1846
Wrist watch before ww1?
The double breasted suit is sublime, absolute work of art
A secret agent is secret- hardly visible in rags. A debonair look shall make him iconic agency
Lmao is it just me or is Ralph Fiennes just playing Gustav.h all over again
What's up?? Same person who uses tons of accounts.. ;)
A gentleman would never set up a tailor shop.
I love her work she turned me into a suit lover i can't leave home without one now and made me love double breasted suit and suits in general thank you
*Are you Waiters or Englishman* ?
*Man with WUNNDEBAR dance*
Being pedantic, there is no Duke of Oxford. There is an Earl of Oxford.
Exactly
Forgot Wilfred Owen.. sorry Michael. Hope you and all your family and friends are well.
Ahem MILK STREET
RIP Ian Kilmister aka Lemmy.
I still drink a lot of milk. Always have always will.
If you watched the kingsmen, suits or the blacklist and you still cant dress proberly, just stick to sweat pants.
Wowwww, so they’re REALLY not going to cast “Taron Egerton” aka Eggsy!? 😠
Meanwhile, the actual Mr Porter collection itself (linked in the description) looks bland, and has barely any visible connection to anything presented in this clip. 😅
Lavoro impagabile
They should have spent more on the script than clothing.
just see how good we are - high level, but still just an advertising
She talks way too much like Emma Thompson for my brain to understand what's going on
Her work looks awesome, but that tie she wears like a scarf... that does not work at all.
IS THIS HOLLYWOOD MADE. 🙄🙄🙄
So-called underwhelming 'franchise' and the results/reviews speak....DULL
Mr porter is now becoming a joke. My over 500 dollar order for black friday was delayed for almost a month. Good luck for anyone who hand their money to mr porter.
None of this matter if the movie is "a muddled, unfunny and overlong mess" as per one of the many bad reviews and receives only a 49% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Vaughan as usual is all style over substance.
This part was the worst from all, too much drama
I hate this
unconsiously you love it
