I just said that on one of the other best acting things I think he was tremendous in that movie he showed love compassion and when he went off the rails it actually kind of scared me even though I knew it was a movie I'm a soldier of the Apocalypse

I just can't believe Robert William is gone I'm still flabbergasted.

Phillip Seymour Hoffman ALWAYS delivered...every time
His performances were captivating.
The thing about the Shawshank Redemption clip is that his laugh is super contagious, but what is making him laugh is the messed up part. It gives you the feeling of wanting to laugh along with him, and also makes you feel super unsettled. That’s what makes the acting in The scene so good.
Agreed!

Either she's a bad actor who makes Bale look better than he already is, or Bale's such a good actor to the point where she now looks bad.
Nick Pers bit of both
Her name is Jennifer Jason Leigh and she is one of the finest actresses of the last 20 years. Just because she isn't loud and bombastic like Bale doesn't mean she's not acting good.
you can see shes a good actress in hateful eight
jollydiggernick Leaving Las Vegas...she’s a great actress dude
Nick Pers the one where he inta changes clothes hahaha?
Daniel De Lewis...the King of acting..Be it Hapiness, Sadness,Anger all of it,he does is so naturally... There aren't many actors who comes close to him
Loved him since my left foot. He can do it all.
@@lacecarter2689 I believe nobody could have done justice to that Role
9:03 The best performance Tom Hardy has ever given; Locke. The clip chosen here isn't very remarkable, sadly. The beauty of Hardy's performance was in the silences. Everything unspoken spoke volumes.
+Ehab Ibrahim Yeah, I'd probably agree.
Tim Wright what's the name of the film at 10:00?
I saw the devil
Pretty fucked up yet awesome Korean movie
ah shaddap
Nabend Love that movie, so incredible.
Omg ONE HOUR PHOTO. Criminally underrated movie. Robin Williams’ best movie imo.
You havent seen or heard my sons excuses for not cleaning his room!
Thats some oscar materiel right there!
😂😂😂
Ha ha brilliant 👏 😄 🤣 😀 👍
Robin Williams portrayed the role of a sexually abused child (as an adult) TOO well. Considering what a tortured soul he was in his private life and his history of drug abuse, I truly feel he could have actually experienced this nightmare as a young child.
Sean Penny’s reactions, as the father in Mystic River, asking about, and learning, that his dead daughter was in the car, just blew me away.
What a powerful scene!
By the way, how come we dont see him being casted anymore..
@@sillycartoons87 no clue. Maybe he retired.
Yes one of my favorites too. I also thought Edward Norton in American history X at the end when his brother gets killed was just as powerful 💥
@@MrNewtowner13 that was a great movie (AH-X).
Locke was brilliant acting, start to finish. For one man to sit in a car and keep an audience's attention for 82 minutes, is incredible.
One of the things that always get my attention in scenes like these are the amazing music pieces in the background. They help elevate the actor and the scene. Massive props to the composers.
Collateral @ 7:18?
Bruh its literally just the most annoying royalty free music thats overplayed on like every video???

Mazuyak The room!
@Mazuyak "Rebel Without A Cause" (1955), Starring James Dean.👍
Look at Tom Cruise's expression, he's admiring Jamie Foxx's compassion for the wolves. Such great actors at 7:15
Gavin Tryde coyotes
I can’t see acting at that scene
Tom Cruise is an incredible actor ; Collateral, Minority Report, Color of Money, Days of Thunder, Risky Business, Vanilla Sky, MI 1..
La rue morgue, Like all actors he is good if he wants, I made a list, play well in a bad movie being excluded.
@The Rue Morgue try to see the positive in your life, you seem to need it, I do not care to know your naive opinion..
Mr. Michael Fassbender! A truly great actor who I feel like is rarely talked about
Luckily he's in a great role on Netflix right now.
Sadly true.
This was one of the most powerful 14 minutes I’ve ever experienced on UA-cam.
Dude where’s the “i did not hit her” scene from “The room”. It was legendary.

Tom Hardy in Locke; nuff said...
+kate jones took the words outt my mouth. That said.. philip seymour, fassbender, spacey & billy bob in Sling Blade f***king amazing. And look out for Jack O'Connol (Starred Up) got a touch of the Hardy in that one! x

I have totally gone to pieces over Tom Hardy. He is simply unbelievable when interviewed. And he is going to play Elton John next...>sigh
In general he is a great actor! I'm surprised he hasn't gotten an Oscar yet.
+kate jones I reckon his portrayal as Bronson was better.
Love him. He's awesome
Heath ledger's joker maybe?
The whole movie was good so they can't just take one scene outta it

Kevin Spacey may never escape the scandals he found himself in. I hope it doesn’t diminish his standing as an actor.
Dude can act. Same as Tom Cruise. It's like south park and Mel Gibson, dude is crazy but he knows a good story structure
Locke is such an underrated movie.
It's because it's a rather boring premise to get someone to watch, I only watched it because I love Hardy, but it's an excellent character study.
That Christian Bale scene, scary
IiJuan José Marulanda
Thats cute
Eye expressions of De Niro in heat is the best, so much going thru his head at that moment, a smile and then sudden anger leads him to take a rash decision and he turns his car. Ineffable acting..!!
I was actually thinking thst they should have picked a better scene from heat, but you make a good point. There is more acting there that I realized.
Most under rated channel on UA-cam! Magnificent!
The best acting i've seen is from Cillian Murphy!
You're joking, right? Because I HOPE SO
@@nurafrizal go fuck yourself, he's a great actor
Cillian is underrated as hell. He was phenomenal in Sunshine.
Inception scene where he discovers the paper mill
SO agree with this, Chillian is one of the BEST! He and Hardy together, GOLD!!!!

I don’t think this list is complete without Leo! That scene in Romeo & Juliet when Mercutio dies, Shutter Island when he finds his children dead 😩
It's a compilation series. There are others parts as well and some of them feature Leo
Superb actors..Billy Bob Thornton was something else in Slingbade..At first you don't even know who he is..Awesome actor
I have never seen or heard of One Hour photo, and yet with no context whatsoever, Robin Williams performance still made me tear up.

Tom Hardy is amazing! brilliant performance in Locke! love him

Peter Dinklage as Tyrion Lannister demanding a trial by combat.
God that scene was amazing
Bathtub confession by Jaime for me
That scene was also amazing!
I am guilty... for being a dwalf!! 😭😭😭
How dare you even mention that in the same breath as these actors
i suggest not adding music to the scenes,
could you also say what movies these scenes are from?
dead beat quite the opposite!! Music makes the scenes more touchable.
that is literally the opposite of what you just said, raw is something untreated/nothing done to it, music on top of it is not raw. Raw would be the picture and the audio.
@@imgeokd4478 music createst some illusion where everything sounds better...it should be shown raw as it came from the movie because the acting is the main focus here

Stunning to think the most powerful performance here by a mile was from a guy who was a comedian by trade. Brilliant performance, One Hour Photo is a gem.
Christian Bale had been a great actor since the "empire of the sun".
Is that film any good ? I’ve only watched the very beginning of it when it was on.

Billy Bob Thornton in Sling Blade was an amazing portrayal of acting variety. The entire movie was amazing. He really shows the mentality of someone with that mentality.
Yeah, great film!
The Vikings scene where Ragnar knew he was out of favour in the kingdom and calls everyone to fight him to the death and goes "Who wants to be king!" is a legendary acting and should be included.
Yeah, I always get goosebumps when he says "WHO WANTS TO BE KING?"
