Beautiful stitch pattern. I suggest that in the future you have a dark background if using white yarn. Vice versa for dark yarns. Also, identify this as an intermediate pattern as some would not know how to make front and back post TR stitch.
Thanks Selena, and I appreciate the feedback. This was my first video. My newer videos do have more of a contrast because I agree with you. It makes it much easier to see. Happy crocheting!
@@HeathersCraftCorner Hi, Heather...can you direct me to any video showing how to create a border at the end? I'd like to make a blanket with this stitch. Thanx!
Heather I was wondering if I can add more rows to make the final length in the pattern. I have 4 rows left to make the 16 however it is not as long as it should be. I have estimated that when I complete 16 rows, the length will only be about 18” as opposed to the 23” that is indicated on the pattern instructions for length before the border rows. Any information will be greatly appreciated. Thank you
Heather's Craft Corner worming is when the stitches are easily pulled out and stay out, looking like a “worm”-like loop on your blanket. I’ve been having this problem with “velvet” yarns
I haven't personally had that problem with the yarns I've used, but I don't use a lot of velvet-type yarns. The yarn in the video worked well for me. I haven't heard of that being a problem with my testers or those who have purchased the pattern, if that helps. :)
That would depend on the yarn and your tension. I would make it around 60" wide. It may pull together as you work the rows, but it would still be wide enough, especially with a border.
If your doing the 2 dc on each end, I would suggest around 94 stitches (98 if you crochet on the tighter side). If you're only doing one dc on each end, 92 (96 if you crochet on the tighter side). Hope that helps!
Can you make a video for rows 4 and 5 since they look different from rows 2 and 3. I keep messing up. I'm not sure what to look for. I am an advanced Crocheter, but i feel like a beginner with this technique. As I follow you I'm going good but where you cut off, the stitches look so different. I put it down for a few days and i just couldn't find my way.I frogged it.

Thank you. It was easier to follow with thick yarn . Easy to see the stitches
Glad it was helpful!
Actually thats the hardest thing for me. Its so thick i cant see the pattern
Beautiful stitch!! I’m definitely going to be saving this in my to do list. Thanks for making such a great tutorial!!
Thanks Carol! I hope you enjoy making it. :)
Wow, I have been fighting with this to make a scarf and you have made it EASY for me. Thank you
Glad I could help!
@heather Thank you so much for creating a video for explaining these steps really well.
Is a beatifful pattern. I love it. 🥰
Thank you! 😊
I like how slow you go it makes it easier to keep up but I do suggest using a bright color with dark background and vise versa or more lighting?

What i like about you is you dont stop in the middle on the lecture to talk. Im to learn there too learn and. Not get d istacted.Thank you.
Will you show a video on how to finish the end of this one please and thank you
Are you meaning the end of the row? The border? The project? I do have some videos in the works for entire patterns coming up. :)

Very helpful! Thank you!

Great stitch ! Thanks.
You’re welcome 😊
Would this look good with multiple colors? Can I used a few different color yarn?
Yes. I've had people make it with stripes and had it look great. You just change colors at the end of the rows. :)

Absolutely. Add what you need to make the length. :)
Is the Celtic weave a yarn eater? It looks similar to basket weave for yarn amount. Which is mild yarn eater.
I'd say it's pretty comparable to the basket weave.
Is this an advanced stitch? I just had trouble following you. Maybe a different angle would help?
It is definitely an intermediate stitch.
Did you ever have issues with worming? I’m about to frog an alpine stitch blanket I created because so many of the post stitches have wormed
I'm actually not familiar with the term worming. What do you mean by that?

How many would you chain for a regular throw blanket?
That would depend on the yarn and your tension. I would make it around 60" wide. It may pull together as you work the rows, but it would still be wide enough, especially with a border.

So chunky!!

Hi I need to know how many chains of the beginning
Timecode
0:39 - Number of chains
I’m new to this and I was also wondering the number that you did. I don’t understand the explanation at the time stamp. Sorry
What is the exact size (Ply) of yarn?
It's Bernat Blanket yarn: www.yarnspirations.com/bernat-blanket-yarn--300g-10.5-oz-/161110.html
Super
