Hi friends, I hope you enjoy the video! Despite all the cat chaos, I made this cozy blanket on Friday and wanted to show you. This is a one row repeat version of the herringbone sc stitch . It was such a joy to make and I wanted to call it the Herring- ZEN blanket. The yarn felt amazing! Everyone ready for christmas? xx
OMGosh! Happy you have another video….beautiful color. I actually have enough Bernat in my stash to do this….love the finishing needle. Don’t lose, they aren’t cheap. But! That tip about how to tie the ends together to join chenille is BRILLIANT! Never seen that before! Leave it to you… 😊 Thank you! 🐈🐈
Que bonita manta, el color, calientita y suavecita, Gracias por compartir su lindo trabajo, que tenga un excelente día! Saludos de California! Felices Fiestas! 🤗🤗🥳🥳❤️❤️❤️
Oh my god I'm so excited you dropped a new video and not only that but the most gorgeous stitch I've been dying to try. I love how you did mention a couple hours of candy crush lmao
Great! Technically , it’s called the “linked sc” but it’s also the same stitch used for a herringbone sc (row 1 of the 2 row repeat for it) . This is a lot simpler and faster but I’ll also be teaching how to do the “real” herringbone sc in an upcoming video 💕
@ I watch all your videos and I have learned so much. I use the continuous granny blanket and the half double mini v stitch a lot! I’ve made blankets and scarves for kids grands and great grands using your videos. A HUGE Thank You!!!
I want to say it was about 64 or 65 rows but don’t hold too strictly to that. Just keep working until it reaches the height you want. I wanted mine to be 48 x 60 inches .

Love the herringbone look. Can’t beat chenille yarn for cuddliness! Thanks for the tutorial!
You’re right on that , this one was so much softer than the Bernat . It was lovely to work with . Happy Christmas to you, Roz! 💕🎄

Whaaaa? 😆 are you using thinner yarn? 🧶
Is there a name for this stitch?
How many rows do you do for your blankets?

Thank you 😊

Merry Christmas, Jennie! 🎄💕💕
OK- I tried thumbing up again. First I had to push thumbs down first. Then thumbed up. That worked
Weird , but I appreciate you kept trying . The likes encourage me , so than you ❤️
