I want to thank you so much for this tutorial. It’s very well done and I learned a beautiful new stitch. I would love listening to you reading to me every night before bed. You’re so calm and you have a lovely voice.
Thank you for explaining this stitch in a clear, concise, and slow, repetitive manner. I’m glad I stopped by your channel. This is one of the best explanations of the herringbone stitch I’ve seen. Awesome!
What a great tutorial! I love this stitch! You teach it so well. It's great to show how mistakes can be made by skipping stitches. Really like how you show that! Thank you so much for posting! You've shown how crocheting is so versatile! AWESOME!
Like the others, I too appreciate your calm manner and thorough explanation to this stitch including the row’s ending! Now I know why my ends were looking wonky! Thank you so much 😊
Looked all over for a clear herringbone stitch tutorial with no luck. THIS IS THE VIDEO! Thank you so much for clearly explaining what you are doing, and using a yarn weight that makes it clear what you are doing!
Thank you for making this tutorial so easy to understand! Some people move so fast it's hard to pick up; I appreciate you going slowly for the whole thing so us learners have the time to actually learn it without constantly pausing or backing up.
This is one of the coolest stitches I’ve come across, and you made it so simple even though it might be a complicated stitch. I feel confident about picking up my hook and yarn and being successful. I also enjoyed your accent and pleasant tone of voice. You seem very kind and understanding, which makes an excellent instructor. Thank you!
I like this herringbone pattern ver mich but I had watched several videos for crocheting this herringbone stitch in the past two months, I can worked it out. Your tutorial is the one that finally helps me work it out. Thank you so so so much.❤
Thank you for this tutorial! I just recently got back into crocheting and I been trying to find a pretty stitching I like for my baby girl blanket that I'm making for her. This is beautiful and you explain it in a way I can follow you easy and you go slow enough for me especially being a newbie, or coming back into the crocheting world, thank you!!!💜💜💜
Very kind of you ☺️❤️ to share such a sweet comment! Welcome back to the beautiful world of crochet, am sure your baby girl will enjoy the blanket very much ❤️❤️
This tutorial was great! Thank you so much for making this video. You did such a a great job of explaining and showing what needs to be done to create the herringbone pattern. 💚
Thank you so much for the wonderful tutorial. It was very clear and concise. And I also loved hearing the beautiful bird sounds in the background. It makes me want to travel! (but I have work in the morning)
Wonderful patient explanation - what a difficult stitch to understand- usually I can understand crochet stitches very quickly but this is difficult - you explain it so well! 😊
Thank you so much for the excellent tutorial on how to do the herringbone crochet blanket. I am desperate to get this right and your tut looks amazing. Thank you very much. Regards Carol South Africa
Your herringbone stitch looks so much better than the other way I have learned. Can you possibly make a tutorial showing how to do it in the round. I’m trying to add it to a beanie and the second part is giving me trouble. I will keep on practicing. Thank you for showing us this beautiful stitch.
Thanks! I'm really a beginner crocheter, but I found your video really easy to follow, and have managed to create quite a neat little sample :) Now planning what to make in this stitch. It seems to make quite a solid, thick fabric.
I love the stitch, and I really appreciate your teaching approach. You are slow, methodical, give clear explanations, and use a yarn thick enough to see clearly. This was my first time watching your channel. I have subscribed and will be back for more terrific tutorials. Thank you! ❤
... іще, хочу подякувати вам за то, що ви показали як не згубити петлі кромочні!!! Бо я їх завжди гублю і в мене скорочуваються ряди!!! Дякую за допомогу!!! 🥰
I love this stitch and yours is the first tutorial on herringbone that includes that third “bar” or loop so you don’t get a line on the back side. Very clear explanation, thank you! This seems to create a very dense fabric-if I wanted to make a more draping fabric for a throw, for instance, would I just go up multiple sizes on the hook?
Thank you 😊 for your kind comment! For a drapey fabric, use a thinner yarn (am using a bulky here). If you go up a hook size the diagonal lines won't have a good tension, they'll look loose. Use a yarn with more number of ply so that the yarn is ' rounder'....& The effect will be perfect lines n drapey fabric. Sorry for a lengthy answer 😶
What a wonderful tutorial! I have added this pattern to my growing list of stitches!!! Thank you very much! I absolutely love this pattern and the stitches are so easy to keep count of.
