I think Sony does an okay job at preserving their first party games, sure there was stuff like Jak the Lost Frontier's Far Drop Crash, but Killzone Liberation, Twisted Metal 2 and Resistance Retribution are best played on PS5. Twisted Metal 2 you can even play with the original soundtrack, something not even Duckstation can do. Problem is Sony pre PS4 wasn't primarily known for their 1st party games.

It is a bummer this doesn't get you the views but keep going because I have found no other channel quite like this one.
ALLEGEDLY piracy! After some point i just accepted that whatever i don't have locally saved is subject to either change or getting lost in time, so since storage is relatively affordable, especially for older games, i just keep a small library of favorite games and older roms just in case!
When it comes to Nintendo, there is one topic I see very few others bring up. Maybe Nintendo wouldn't have such a big issue with their games being emulated if they had the decency to port their games onto other platforms like the PC. Nintendo is pretty much the only company left stubborn enough to take the traditional route and not ditch the idea of platform exclusivity by now. Microsoft hasn't had an Xbox only game for nearly a decade now. Even Sony has been warming up to the idea of multiplatform releases and they seem to be doing just fine with that. Nintendo is willing to port from Nintendo platform to Nintendo platform, but they're still not willing to port from Nintendo platform to a completely different platform. I am of the firm belief that exclusive games are an outdated business practice from a bygone era. No matter how many units of their own hardware they sell, Nintendo is still leaving so much money on the table by restricting where and how we can play their games. That is by far the biggest and most petty way to gatekeep games. Say it with me, folks: Piracy is a service problem.
I dont have any proof to back it up, sadly, but I would argue that Nintendo is so stubborn to not release PC ports, because they know no one would buy the switch anymore. Steam Deck exists now too, so why would you ever choose a inferior console over a PC or steam deck.
If it’s not a current gen game,it should be everywhere. No ones buying spider man on the ps4 so if u put that on Xbox and pcs Sony and the gamers win, for example
