How To: The Lead Hand Hook | Stephen Wonderboy Thompson

*SPOILER ALERT* In this weeks episode of Technique Tuesday I go over a technique that was used by UFC 241's Main Event, Stipe Miocic! The UFC Heavyweight Champ used the lead hand hook to the body to open up Daniel Cormier's guard which allowed his right hand to get through. Another variant of the hook was used as a counter by up and comer Sodiq Yusuff to drop his opponent leading to a ground n pound stoppage. UFC 241 was an amazing card.
