I too love the "Colombian". It has a brutal efficiency about it that really appeals to me. The angle of the cylinders reminds me of a V8, evocative of power. At 68 years, and with arthritis and back problems, I had to part with my '04 Thruxton, and I miss it every day. I wonder if there is a way a machine like yours, could be changed just enough to give it a bit of the flat tracker look... The slightly higher and wider bars would be much more comfortable for someone like myself. Don't get me wrong, there is absolutely nothing "wrong" with your splendid creation, you are right to be proud of it. Well done!
You are welcome my friend. It is always pleasure to present a beautiful project built by Zeus Custom. Congratulations for your usual and very nice taste. :) Cheers.
If you want optimum performance and sound stay with a exhaust pipe diameter of around 1" 1/4 maximum 1" 1/2 (up to 1000cc). Use reverse Cone Muffler's as these produce a void in muffler allowing gases to escape quicker. Wrap exhaust for more performance as exhaust gas flows over a hot surface faster. Despite what some might think unrestricted exhaust dictate a leaner air fuel mixture. The correct jetting will stop the popping on engine over run. Dyno will ultimately dictate jetting but as a rule the above mods will gain hp. Very nice bike!
Hello Victor, I am the builder of the second motorcycle, the "Colombian" I am glad that people liked it, there was a small equibocation and I was not named correctly I am Felipe Saldarriaga and gonzalez is my second last name, it is not very important , You can also see my face perofile as Luis Felipe Saldarriaga Gonzalez. I thank you very much for looking at my work.
Olá Luis. Sorry for my mistake, Here in Portugal, we usually use the First and last name, and that is why i identified you as Luis Gonzalez. I am very glad for showing your project in this video. It seems that most people prefer your motorcycle. Congratulations. It's really a beautiful project. :) Saludos.
My first bike was the xv750 with the mono shock. I turned it into a cafe racer back in 09. I guess people realized the potential of these bikes. My fav aspect of this bike is the hanging engine. It looks like your riding an engine. Such an awesome machine. And cheap
Brilliant use of common, economical parts in the second build! Very nice work. The first, is an understated work of art. Excellent fabrication and vision to see the line and execute the build. I always look forward to your next review. You always present new ideas in a professional, unbiased format. As always, thank you!
K Mooyong is a great guy. He's getting quite famous now. And it's great to see he is not changing and still share his passion within the community. To be close to him and his shop it's one of the only things i miss since i don't live in BKK anymore. Perseus is such a beautiful bike. I like the style and the old look it has. It's simple and not too shiny. Love it.
Uau. Os pequenos grandes detalhes. O farol invertido mudou totalmente o visual.
Virago is really an interesting bike and we can find it with relative ease in many projects. In fact without much money invested a good builder can achieve a very good custom motorcycle. That is why there are so many projects we can find in a quick search on the internet. Most are expendable, but as always these two bikes are something special. I like the virago very much, but every time I am attracted more to the old Kawasaki Vulkan 500 2 inline. Saludos
I agree with everything you said. The old Kawasaki Vulkan 500 can also be an interesting motorcycle, but is has the same frame problem as the Virago XV 1100. Thank you my friend for sharing your usual perspective. Saludos.
Thank you. I'm glad you liked my friend. :) Cheers.

The second bike, the one made by Luiz, is the bike I like the most from the several virago projects I found on the web. I've found it on Pinterest and pinned it to my "cafe racer ideas" album. But I have a virago 535 with dual shocks...need to find a solution for it 👍🏻
Thank you my friend for sharing your perspective. Yes, just like you, i am still looking for a good virago 535 cafe racer for a new video. :) Um abraço.

RACER TV what do you think of this one: bikebrewers.com/yamaha-xv535-cafe-racer-by-studio-motor/
Boa semana.
I dont know about Thailand but I envy you guys, I think you dont need an engineers report on custom frame mods. That would be a dream! Here in aussie land you cant even put on different forks without a certificate, and that costs about $1000 aus. Here in NSW its even worse, you get tested every year for a roadworthy. If you have these bikes modified, as I do, you need the original setup to pass every year, its a nightmare. Maybe I'll move to thailand, they come here, I'll go there!
RACER TV Thanks to you! I have month looking for information on the second bike and although I'm subscribed to your channel I've never seen this video before. Love your production by the way, it's very useful and informative, no need to mention how elegant and clear is all explained :)
another amazing review. I never really liked viragos but in the right hands oh lala ! thanks for the review and helping people show their work to the world.
Having built and ridden a virago with a very similar exhaust I will let everyone considering it that the heat is no joke, wrap it up and stay safe! I can't count the number of times I burned myself on it or cooked all the hair off my shin sitting at stop lights waiting to go.
Bom dia Victor.
Another high quality vid my friend I own a harley street 750 and would love to turn it into something like that I hope one day you will showcase the street 750 and make it cool god bless.
Thank you. I'm glad you liked my friend. In my opinion, i think the Harley-Davidson Street 750 Cafe Racer by Rajputana Custom, is a beautiful project. :) Cheers.
Well, it is not the higher number of cylinders that makes an engine to be more powerful. It is more a matter of personal taste. Personally, i think the V twin engine has the best sound of all. Cheers.
thank you for showing those great bikes :) do you think.it is possible to built a good cafe racer without cutting the frame? its because i don't want to cut the frame of my cj 250 cause its in.an exzellent shape.
yes, it is perfectly possible to create a good cafe racer with that CJ 250, and without cutting the frame. Try to search on youtube for "Honda CB 125 Cafe Racer", and you will find several of my videos about that model. Cheers.
They are good, Spains a bit rough round the edges, but overall well done, the tank seat level is the hardest thing depending on the stance of the bike, and if youve ever done it, its not easy, it should be! I have two, XV750 83 with CBR1100 forks, and XV1000 with VTR1000 forks. I dont like USD forks on a classic looking bike, just personal preference. If you like Showa forks on these bikes its not that hard, only have to extend the stem an inch or so and the lower bearing is the same, all balls have a top end one avail. Still a long wheelbase virago in handling, but great for the ego! I dont think you need pillion pegs on the XV920 with that seat! BTW the XV920, that was the XV1000 in australia, it wasnt called the TR1 or anything, just came out in chain or shaft drive. More shaft drive ones about.
find out from Your st/st supplier which grade is more malleable. It obviously also depends on how much You want to "deform" the sheet. You might have to do the "deformation" in steps and by annealing the st/st after every step to reduce the inherit hardening due to the deformation. For the appropriate temps for the annealing best consult Your supplier.
Always love the solid roaring sound of Virago
WOW that flying seat + girders on the second bike!!! You're right, that tank angle is near to perfection. Thanks for sharing!
You are welcome my friend. My pleasure. Cheers.

Hello Luis, your modifications on the Virago are absolutely brilliant!
Great bike. I want one.
Nice bike luis!.
The transition photo: I can't believe how the adjustment is actually so subtle!
I'm glad you liked my friend. :) Cheers.

When you look at the lines and how those modifications alter the bike I can see exactly why you chose Infelix as the better build. Much respect.
Thank you. I'm glad you liked my friend. :) Cheers.
Thank You, for making RacerTV

Esperado novo video
The most impressive part about this video is how fast the dude runs at 7:00
Nice showcase 🤙
Saludos.
that's how our heart sound 3:28

The two are big bikes, but for me the vulcan with its two inline engine is the one that attracts me more
nice project great builder

Nice video. Great bikes.

Obrigado amigo pelo comentário. :) Um abraço.

ok
Both very nice work ! Good idea, great vid as usual ! ; )
Thank you. As usual, I'm glad you liked my friend. :) Cheers.
shafty-cafs are for pics only.
road racers don't squat in turns.
chain drives only!
I have 2 and sold another 3, so I'm a little bias about loving the virago.
that exhaust is a beauty :D
I'm glad you liked my friend. :) Cheers.
very nice project.
I'm glad you liked my friend. :) Cheers.
What to choose as a future project with monoshock cx or virago?
NIce channel, amazing video and bikes... Subscribed!
Zeus' bike is nice, but the colombian one is a true jewel!
Thank you. I'm glad you liked my friend. :) Cheers.
SPLENDID !
:) Cheers.
if I want more power/performance wouldn't a four cylinder bike like a Honda cb be a better choice than a virago?
Well, it is not the higher number of cylinders that makes an engine to be more powerful. It is more a matter of personal taste. Personally, i think the V twin engine has the best sound of all. Cheers.
wow so amazing looking
Fantastic
Superb
Excelente que belleza....
Please make video about 50cc motorized bicycles! :DDD surfing the internet can be found really beautiful projects! Good projects very small amount.
I appreciate your suggestion, but the truth is, most Racer TV fans prefer to see videos about bigger Cafe Racers. :) Cheers.
OK! Thank you! I understand!)))
TORRENT - Site bom p... uehIEHaheuahehahe pqp! esse canal é demais!
the xv750 virago or the cx 500 ? I can't decide which i like the best.
I liked Number 2 the best.
Thank you. I'm glad you liked my friend. :) Cheers.
exelente saludos!
Gracias. Saludos.
How do they make the middle part of the grame black? and the cilinder heads grey/silver? are those polished or painted?
After painting the cylinders, the cylinder heads are sanded until the aluminium emerge. Cheers.
thanks mate! love your channel btw
How much is something like that?? And where can I get one??
tnx for this video
You are welcome my friend. My pleasure. Cheers.
Very good
where do i get the seat?
Where do you buy the parts for these builds I have a virago
Obrigado pela informação, vou verificar !
De nada. :) Um abraço.
What is the cost of this bike project. Is it with in reach of a common person to buy one like this?
Awesome
I think my next project with be a Virago! Just finishing up my 79 cb650!
1st!
Thank you my friend for sharing your perspective. :) Cheers.
Cost to build including original bike?
thank you for showing those great bikes :)
do you think.it is possible to built a good cafe racer without cutting the frame?

yes, it is perfectly possible to create a good cafe racer with that CJ 250, and without cutting the frame. Try to search on youtube for "Honda CB 125 Cafe Racer", and you will find several of my videos about that model. Cheers.

Buena por los Colombianos sigan asi.
Gracias amigo. Saludos.
What was the cost of this bike?
what was the engine in the first clip where the owner of zeus customs was revving it up?? anyone know??
It is a Virago XV 1100. Cheers.
