A Muse of great beauty inspired the men behind this build. You are sharing with all of us the early Golden Age of Café Racers! Today I will go out and lay hands on my own Virago. She has not run in over 30 years. She was retired and disliked by two brothers. Parked in many a garage and covered this complete machine is now in my garage, a challenge from a friend to make it run reliably. As a reward it shall be mine! Should I leave it stock... or CAFE!!! My irony is I am 71 and the café configuration is unkind to the older spine. After seeing this episode, I don't care. I may fill my garage with nothing but café motorcycle even if I only ride around the block. Wonderful video and machine you shared today. Thanks!!!
My dear friend, I am very happy that this video served as an inspiration for you. I'm only 50 years old. But personally, I'd rather ride a cafe racer than a Bobber or a Scrambler. Ride motorcycles with your back straight, can be good on a long trip. But after hitting an unexpected bump or hole in the road, it is very painful for your back. With a Cafe Racer, this never happens. :) Thank you my friend for your support. :) Cheers
I'm 72. My cafe racer sits on the patio. Made from a moto guzzi California stone 1100..... Spent one winter building in an aircraft hangar. Kept the wiring stock the xcept for trimming down the bundle. Kept the engine stock except for the intake. Kept the rake/trail stock. Promised myself it wouldn't be a forever project. So it retains reliability. Even kept the original gas tank stock. It was such a pretty shape. You can do it.
Unbelievable, you could not have pleased me more this motorcycle (this chameleon) and totally incredible of a purity and elegance that I would never have imagined. Thank you for being able to surprise me once again, dear Victor
Beautiful bike! Then again the Virago v twin engine is one of the most iconic looks as engines go. How ever there is form and function to consider and this machine is more of form then function. Nice as a piece of art
The Virago is definitely a great bike to use to build a Café racer! This one is a piece of art work. Recently, I sold a Virago 1100 twin shock that I bought out of a garage that had been abandoned for many years. I converted it to a single carb Mikuni and it ran very nice once tuned. This one is a very beautiful bike! As always, thank you for Racer TV, the Café racers only choice! Hope you are doing well and enjoying a great weekend! Ride safe my dear friend! Cheers:)
Thank you my friend for sharing your perspective. It is very rare to see a good looking Virago 1100 cafe racer. I bet you used 1 really big carburetor to power that big engine. :) :) :) You too. Thank you. Cheers
All love & respect to this virgo cafe racer,it fits all my criteria of a custom. It not only checks all the boxes and then some.I will end this by saying you guys really put your heads together on this mean machine, incredible build gentlemen !Awsome.
Great video Racer, as always. Earth motorcycle have done an outstanding job with this Virago, excellent craftsmanship, job well done. Hope all is going well for you Victor, ride safe and take care mate. Cheers
Thank you my Dear friend for sharing your perspective. Yes, this one is surely worthy of this year's top10. I hope the smae from you. Thank you. You too. :) Cheers
This is one of my favorite channels. I owned a 83 Virago and I missed her a lot. Sadly I sold it because never could do the starter clutch fix and it was driving me crazy, but I shouldn't have. It was really fun to drive, agile and with lots of power.
###### !!! (Sorry) This is a masterpiece, Mr. Vlado Dinga and Mr. Alex Tomis. I remember the other projects, pleasantly. This motoclcleta will be a champion. Thanks Vito for another wonderful video.
If you believe Australia is part of Planet Earth ... I qualify (just)! What a stunning bike!! The lines are perfect, the wheels fitted in fantastically, the frame alterations terrific .... Then the riding shots ... Beautifully filmed and composed etc ... But the rider looked too big for the bike and nearly got overtaken by a snail!! I wanted to hear the pipes sing and burble!!! I'm sorry ... but that's about all I can find to fault it on!! Not my usual style ... but I love it ... (and would love to know more about it ... Part 2?) With Love And Respect from Down Under PS. And Yes you will see me on the next video!
Loool. Thank you my friend for sharing your perspective. But I'm going to be completely honest with you. The roar of that engine is disappointing. It lacks personality, and at idle, it sounds like a 1-cylinder engine. I think different exhausts could help improve this issue. :) Cheers
What the heck is that slick beautiful one piece $hit ? I'd change the pipes only as I'm just an old purist. Well done 👍 it's a daring, smooth and eye catching well thought out project.
😂very truthfull thumbnail 😅❤ Something out of fantacy, just mind boggling 😅,just flabbergasted ❤... Racer tv ,your narration and the way you present videos 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
It's an absolute stunning build. The only thing I'm wondering is with the change of the front frame, how much travel of the fork is left here. It looks like not much in the footage. But anyway, making such drastic changes to the proportions of a bike isn't exactly a short cut. Great work!
Thank you my friend for sharing your perspective. Interestingly, the front suspension seems to have a lot more travel when the bike is stationary. :) Cheers
The top line is just impeccable, amazing design. I just feel something should be done with a light...designwise, but that's me. I especially like the supports for the seat-tank piece n a back. And the engine looks really beautiful.
Equivocado querido amigo cafe racer tv (me refiero al inicio del video), siempre q publicas un video es especial para los amantes del motociclismo, gracias por mostrarnos una pieza hecha pasión y arte para todos los amantes de éste estilo.
Interestingly, initially I was going to call this channel "Cafe Racer TV". But unfortunately, this name was already being used by another channel. That's why it had to be "Racer TV". Thank you my friend for your kind comment. :) Saludos
agreed 100%!…on all points…to start with, it is a very challenging frame, because these bikes were designed for road comfort with long raked forks to add wheelbase…and for this reason these bikes always appeared uninspiring to me. but that air cooled v twin puts out a very level high torque range that makes it great for running through the gears around town without going to jail…the body is masterful !…as a purist and being ultra critical, i might have done away with shaft drive and gone with a belt…i never really appreciated the integrated frame / motor , exposing the front of the engine until now. the wheels do follow the design cues, but they are also one of the biggest giveaways of the what the original bike was…and i’d say that perhaps it makes the build that much more impressive…really special one! cheers brother!
Beautiful design, but, my opinion, constrain the pilot. One more point, the small headbeam is not in harmony with the rest of the bike. It needs to be bigger. IMHO. Video top, as usual. Parabéns.

Very beautiful, but I can't help but think that the fuel tank is way too small. Being in Australia I'm used to riding longer distances and would find refuelling stops too frequent. Maybe that's not so much of an issue way up there in Europe. Maybe I'd approach it with a rounder body curve and a little bit of overhang over the frame to add capacity. A lovely design though!
@danielkeel9265 I understand the situation in Australia. But I must point out that a custom motorcycle like this is not built for long trips. For this reason, the issue of reduced fuel tank capacity, should not be seen as a problem. :) Thank you my friend for sharing your perspective. :) Cheers
@Animal666TNOTB In the past, this was really a problem. But currently, there are several products to apply inside fuel tanks, which prevent gasoline from coming into contact with fiberglass. Thank you my friend for sharing your perspective. :) Cheers

The café racer scene is responsible for the destruction of so many lovely old bikes. Just leave them alone. I just bought a beautiful completely standard all original BMW R100RS that the owner was planning to butcher. Luckily for me he got made redundant and had to sell it before he'd ruined it. That would have been sacrilege. The café racer scene is one of the worst fads in biking
@AndySmith4501 I recognize that there are some projects using classic motorcycles of historical value. But there is also a good side. It helps to increase the market for original used parts, and also helps to save many old motorcycles that no one wants, preventing them from ending up in scrap. :) Cheers.
Красиво но звук по моему , звук выхлопа и мотора не подходят к этому дизайну. Когда увидел сначала - Вау !😮 Эффект а потом когда услышал пердёж - разочарование 😢

:) Cheers.
Beautiful but not practical
It’s probably why it isn’t called Practical Motorcycle TV.
Красиво но звук по моему , звук выхлопа и мотора не подходят к этому дизайну.
Когда увидел сначала - Вау !😮 Эффект а потом когда услышал пердёж - разочарование 😢
I don't think I would ride that because if you hit a bump that back tire would castrate you.
I think it's ugly
Looks very uncomfortable. Ugh.
That’s probably the worst sounding bike I’ve ever heard. It sounds like it’s starving for power…
Very unusual but kind of beautiful
Thank you my friend for sharing your opinion. :) Cheers
