This is the video about the Top 10 best Motorcycles of 2017.
The election took place between 29/12/2017 and 19/01/2018.
There were 20 candidates in the election, which are the best Motorcycles presented by Racer TV during 2017.
My special thanks to Pedro Torres, for his great help with my english.

Carlos Eduardo orgulho mesmo... É uma pena que a retrorides não tenha tanta atenção assim no Brasil. Para mim em quesitos técnicos é de longe a melhor garagem. Acho que a razão disso é que ela é situada em campinas e não em São Paulo... uma pena.

This is a video that blew me away. The way he used the robotic voice and the music was excellent.

I use this "robotic" voice created by software, because i'm Portuguese, and my bad english accent (and voice), can ruin the documentary character that i like for my videos. I already tried a real american voice in one of my videos, but things didn't worked as i expected. Curiously, the robotic voice sounds very good for all non english natives. Cheers.

As dificuldades de se montar uma café racer no Brasil são enormes, a pouca opção e dificuldades de se adquirir as peças dentre outras coisas e de se respeitar a capacidades desses construtores Brasileiros. Parabéns e é merecido suas posições no top 10 desse canal onde a classe e a qualidade de todas as motos aoresentadas são impressionantes.

Permit a moment to fanboy a bit. I love not only your videos, your taste but also the pacing of your videos, and the pacing of the voice. It shows real mastery of the medium because I believe it must be very difficult to control a generated voice. I would love to know how you do that. I suppose you have spent many hours developing your technique. I really admire it. Well done!

Bom dia caro amigo! Então, aí está o Top 10 de 2017!
As vencedoras de 2017 são espetaculares, dificil dizer, dentre tantas qualidades, tanta imaginação e bom gosto, qual a que mais me agrada.
Claro que a campeã mereceu o título pois, além da beleza, possui um delicado equilíbrio, que parece se harmozinar com o olhar.
Não tenho o seu dom para a narrativa, logo não vou me estender na explicação. Ela é a campeã porque agradou, com justiça, à maioria, e eu estou nessa maioria!!
Também fico feliz porque duas motos que eu pretendo, um dia, customizar, estão no ranking, a CB 400 e a CG 125. E são projetos brasileiros, o que é uma distinção considerando as grandes dificuldades que encontramos neste país para customizar motos.

Caro Helio, então lhe dou o maior incentivo para customizar a CBzona rsrs : Na academia que treino tem um camarada que tem uma dessa: Rabeta cafe racer e subquadro artesanal retos, banco de couro, suspensão original na frente mas com bengalas cortadas, farol da CB 1300 com aquela mini carenagem preta posicionado mais abaixo em relação à mesa ( na verdade pouco acima da roda, já que não há o paralama ).
Não há o painel com instrumentos, só dois pequenos relógios de contagiro e velocímetro na lateral abaixo da parte dianteira do tanque, que é da RD 350 ano 74 ( a viúva negra, lembra? ) e atrás dois enormes amortecedores de 360mm com reservatório da CMOTOS.
O ponto mais fraco são as rodas originais.. isso foi parcialmente contornado com uma boa pintura preto metálico nas rodas mas o proprietário me disse que vai colocar rodas raiadas futuramente e também fazer dois escavados nas laterais do tanque, na altura dos joelhos.
Como ver pessoalmente é bem diferente de ver em vídeo, acredito que, apesar de não ter um acabamento tão chique quanto essa dos irmãos Lourenço, a moto desse cara chama ainda mais a atenção.. também a moto dele abusou do guidão rebaixado ( mesmo p/ uma cafe racer ) e dos escapes abertos.. só os canos rs.. Abraço.

I love the BMW R80. I did not expect it to be voted number one. I expected the Honda Goldwing to be number one. I voted for it. Excellent job once again. I hope your CX650 Turbo is coming along nicely. eBay has an excellent 1995 Triumph Speed Triple 900 for sale. It was converted with Sprint body work. I thought it would make an exceptional project. I may purchase it.
Thank you my friend for sharing your perspective. Just a correction. My Honda CX is the CX 650 Custom, and not the Turbo model. But yes, it is going to be a really beautiful Cafe Racer. I like the Triumph Speed Triple 900 Engine, but it is not an easy motorcycle for a project due the modern lines of the fuel tank. But good luck. :) Cheers.

Definitely something is happening in the tastes and styles of the lovers of the Cafe Racer motorcycles, 7 of the 10 motorcycles use rear monoshock suspension. And where only one had it of origin, when leaving the factory. It would be interesting in the selection corresponding to this year, that there would be the possibility of indicating which age range, the people who vote have. Maybe there could be some surprises about the tastes associated with the age of those who like a certain type of motorcycle. In relation to the motorcycles presented I think I agree with my fellow voters, their choice was perfect, although some very good projects were left out. This is how democracy works. If those ten bikes gave me a choice, which one would I want in my garage? I would certainly say that the Honda VF 750, with or without a model next to it, but preferably with a woman so beautiful at his side. Saludos cordiales

I’m curious to know why you mentioned that BMW is not the favorite one to most people. Is it related to project complexity or something else?
Thank you my friend for your support. No, what i meant is, There are people who really don't like the BMW's boxer engine, but it is only a matter of personal taste. And there are also people who don't appreciate BMW from the R series, because they are usually expensive motorcycles, or very rare in some Countries. :) Cheers.

Sim, a cg do casado me inspirou a fazer a minha também. Em relação a primeira colocada eu meio que concordo e não concordo, mas é por uma questão pessoal mesmo não me agrada aquele motor de fora das r80 mas só por isso mesmo fora isso realmente é um moto bem equilibrada. Ótimo top 10!!!!

#5 & #9 were the ones that stud out for me, although all of them were amazing. I seem to be drawn to the Japanese bikes lately, I wonder if it's because that's what I'm building at the moment. I have mixed feelings about the Goldwing, i like the look, and the craftsmanship is excellent, but is a giant touring bike really credible as a Café Racer? It's not as if I would chuck it out of my collection if it were forced upon me, it's just for me it's not a case of i hate it because it's different, I mean we build our own so that they are different, also its not because I'm a purest, most of my builds lately are Japanese from the 80's and 90's. I think it's because Café Racer's to me are stripped down and minimalist,, to be sleek and light, and none of these can be used to describe a Goldwing, regardless of what style it is, obviously this is just IMHO, and also obvious is the fact someone disagrees with that, and I'm glad they did, because the world is a better place for having one more beautiful Café Racer in it.
The BMW is brilliant but my favourite is still the GL. Just sounds as good as it looks.
