I've owned the xt600E for nearly 30 years and didn't realise that it could be transformed into such a thing of beauty. An honest account of a lovely build, chap. Well done.
i had an 85 and 86 xt 600 same bikes 1 had more black the other more red whatever identical more or less the oil tank was on the left side up high just under the side of the seat hidden by a side cover it was made of tin i guess better for heat holding heat and cooling quicker not getting as hot but i like this
What a rad original concept!!! And the wood, oh the wood, absolutely brilliant idea, and looks perfect in the way it was used! Well done mate, well done!!!!
Its s very beautiful looking bike. Both the medal and wood work were uniquely composed and put together in such a way that it appears to have rolled off an assembly line. The bike is beautifully balanced between artistic appeal and practicality. Nicely done thx for sharing......
That is bloody fantastic. Absolutely love it. The wood looks really good and is always a bit different. Zebrano is a bugger to work too(furniture maker too) so amazing job. Bet it sounds good too👌
Your bike is awesome, don't care about the haters it is a master piece and i love the way you have used wood to make bike parts. Please continue doing your artistic work , All the best take care
I bet I'm not the only one nodding smiling gasping at the seat loving every part. I really love the use of brass, works wonderfully with the anodised ali bits and the wood too. I don't know if the whole thing is cohesive but there's no question that is one of the best bikes ever built, can't wait to hear it running and see it in turns :)
That's quite a transformation, from dirt to street. Love crazy ideas, great job! ENormous amount of work on that front end. Love the oil tank and the seat of course! Astonishing work and love the introduction of wood.
Seriously beautiful piece of work. Oil tank is genius and woodwork impressive. It'll split to bits if it gets used. Contraction and expansion plus impact = splinter hole. But I'd just mount it on a wall. Good work that guy!
Absolutely fantastic!! I hate Marmite but love the mix of design and materials... oil tank is ingenious... the seat is super fly.... this definitely is a piece of art and one see the love invested!!!
Beautiful piece of art... I wish I had a seat like yours... We thought about a wood seat, but we were not able to visualize it.. It really helped to see your video. Every detail on the bike was well though out.... Congratulations
It's got a bigger Wiseco piston, and extensive work to the breathing apparatus, on a fresh build and virtually stark naked: it's going to be pretty good. Maybe not 636 sharp, maybe will need suspension, steering, gearing all dialled in. But it would be very grunty from low in the rev range resulting in a bike that can torque out of curves and keep some bigger bikes honest.
I love it!!!! Really really love it. I’m adding brass bits to my black Harley 48 and I was just wondering how some wood bits would tie in. Now I know IF done tastefully, it can be done.
congratulations..GREAT build..you are a fantastic artist-fabricator..best wishes...peace..glad you did the wood, nice to see new and differing builds..9 days of varnish /epoxy finish work..better you than me..thanks
Great build. The paint is like black coral, rare and found in Australia's Great Barrier Reef. When it's polished and in the sunshine, you can see the flecks of gold in the black.
I have just started working on a 1980 XJ650 cafe racer with lots of the same intentions as you have done…. Well done, I can now get a better idea of where I am heading. Timber was my first thought when I started. Beautiful mate, well done. Wish I had just a little of your skills, this bike is epic #nuffys builds 🇦🇺👍🏻🏍
Absolutely amazing attention to detail and great ideas and quality I was 100% with you till you till you said it's going to end up in somebody's home ! I really hope you mean before they take it out on the road where this thing of beauty belongs 🏍🇬🇧
Excelente trabajo impecable. Felicidades de verdad me gustan mucho los trabajos con detalles en madera. Pero este no es uno de ellos del resto todo está muy bien 💪😎
Awesome job !!! Subscribed The only think that i don t like is the screw infront of the seat that keeps the fuel tank. It must be a problem when you are riding her.
That looks amazing, well done. The wood for me personally makes the bike. Something different done right, not for the sake of being different. Please tell me you are riding it and not hiding it.
I've owned the xt600E for nearly 30 years and didn't realise that it could be transformed into such a thing of beauty. An honest account of a lovely build, chap. Well done.
This dude is on another level; mastery level eye for design.
Might be my favourite custom of all time!
Classy build. The wood and brass accents are a great touch. The oil tank is totally unique.
i had an 85 and 86 xt 600 same bikes 1 had more black the other more red whatever identical more or less the oil tank was on the left side up high just under the side of the seat hidden by a side cover it was made of tin i guess better for heat holding heat and cooling quicker not getting as hot but i like this

This is one of my favorite motorcycle builds I've seen. I love the attention of detail and the touches with wood!
Looks like the tank off my old Suzuki GN400 ... lovely design mate !!!
Magnificent ! I’ve had 3 bikes, I would be proud to own that. 😍
On some other level. The details are insane.
The elegance on this would put all Ducati's to shame.
Absolute amazing ... love that you used a XT600 -engine ...a truly beautiful cafe racer, compliments
Too beautiful to ride... The level of detail in this build is astounding.
Fantastic build. The Brass and Wood with the gold fleck in the paint, Wow!!
Its s very beautiful looking bike. Both the medal and wood work were uniquely composed and put together in such a way that it appears to have rolled off an assembly line. The bike is beautifully balanced between artistic appeal and practicality. Nicely done thx for sharing......
That machine has went straight in at No.1 on my bike charts. Fantastic build, well done.
Both video and the build are brilliantly explained. The result is wonderful.
That is bloody fantastic. Absolutely love it. The wood looks really good and is always a bit different. Zebrano is a bugger to work too(furniture maker too) so amazing job. Bet it sounds good too👌
Looks radically different to the knock about XT600 I once owned. Good on you for using new and old materials side by side so well. Very nice.
Your bike is awesome, don't care about the haters it is a master piece and i love the way you have used wood to make bike parts. Please continue doing your artistic work , All the best take care

Very very nice, i like the seat, the wood is beautiful. It looks like a restoration of an antique . Mint.
The treatment of the engine is amazing, my favorite so far. The wood and the use of color contribute to a gorgeous design.
Most probably the most beautiful custom build I’ve seen.
Well done Sir
That's quite a transformation, from dirt to street. Love crazy ideas, great job! ENormous amount of work on that front end.
Love the oil tank and the seat of course! Astonishing work and love the introduction of wood.
The bike looks incredible. Engineering and design both nailed it. I like the wood. Like walnut panelling on a Bentley.
And plastic woodgrain inside Nissans and woodgrain down the side of a Chevrolet wagon!
Seriously beautiful piece of work. Oil tank is genius and woodwork impressive. It'll split to bits if it gets used. Contraction and expansion plus impact = splinter hole. But I'd just mount it on a wall. Good work that guy!
I'm not sold on that oil tank and the bits of wood hiding it and the ignition. But I do like the way the seat tilts up, that is sweet.
Nice! Indeed a moving sculpture, a true piece of art. Very well done!
The wooden seat looks very nice. Fantastic bike
Beautiful... it is an awesome original build. Well done
Absolutely fantastic!! I hate Marmite but love the mix of design and materials... oil tank is ingenious... the seat is super fly.... this definitely is a piece of art and one see the love invested!!!
Absolutely incredible. The level of detail and craftsmanship is fantastic!
One of the nicest looking bikes I've ever seen
Amazing work. Love the mix of metal and woodwork.
Dude this looks brilliant. Love the wood personally, makes for an extremely unique stand out part from a lot of similar looking cafe races!
Very cool and really well executed. I’d say it’s nicer than any current new bike. I accidentally found your video and I’m glad I did guy.
I'm a carpenter today loves custom small Cafe bikes used to have one and this is awesome
"MASTERPIECE"...... the subtle color scheme is 🔥 as well 💯
Shit the bed beautiful.... That my man is simply out of this world
💣...🏍️👏👊
Beautiful piece of art... I wish I had a seat like yours... We thought about a wood seat, but we were not able to visualize it.. It really helped to see your video. Every detail on the bike was well though out.... Congratulations
An amazing build. Crazy attention to detail. The rear is especially beautiful. A lot of brakes and suspension for an XT600 engine though!
This is a fabulous project! Congratulations!
Dude as an xt600 owner, this is unreal.Great build!
Great build. The paint is like black coral, rare and found in Australia's Great Barrier Reef. When it's polished and in the sunshine, you can see the flecks of gold in the black.
Just come across your bike, it's beautiful, a stunning machine, well done. 😀

Absolutely beautiful. 👏🏽
Thank you! Cheers!
. love the wood and brass beautiful design and build
That looks amazing, well done. The wood for me personally makes the bike. Something different done right, not for the sake of being different. Please tell me you are riding it and not hiding it.
Great looking customisation....My only negative crit is that master cylinder reservoir protruding out like that
This man made a machine into art
