- To celebrate the holiday season and my love for Christmas movies, I wanted to see what would happen if I trained an AI bot to write scenes from Christmas movies that do not exist. Enjoy!

the entire "let the thing go" scene is what my parents think therapy is like
I had a clinical psychologist in an IN PATIENT CHILDRENS psychiatric ward employ this “technique”
Except he referred to it as ‘chit’
I hope he had enough time left on earth to experience some horrible painful things.
They're right 😮💨
@@dallasthedirtbag sometimes, but usually it's a lot closer to being given the silent treatment while trying to be vulnerable
As someone who sees a psychologist I can confirm every appointment is her yelling at me to "LET THE F*CKING THING GO" 😂
@@dallasthedirtbag okay, dallas.
the fact that ai made home alone basically a horror movie shows way more intelligence than i like it having
"haha (we're) in danger"
Uuu@@chad007.
no it just goes to show that it doesn't understand tone. it sees violence in a script and immediately associates it with horror, when the violence is meant to be comedic
All of them felt like a parody of a French surreal film but this one was extra that
the amount of bottery going on here in these replies hurts my brain
The scene of the snow shovels disappearing, reappearing, and exploding could literally be straight out of some character's hallucinations in Twin Peaks
lol yea
Absolutely true lol
The Home Alone script was an actual horror experimental film 😂
i know it was so unsettling
The snow shovels are a metaphor for the true horror: depression
Skinamarink if it was good:
it’s like an a24 psychological horror😭
@@chillman3188REAL AS HELL
The part where they bullied a kid and absolutely terrified him was the funniest shit ever
Your humor is a bit scary (idk if that was actually funny because I'm halfway through the vid)
ITS FUNNY
LET THE FUCKING THING GO!

LET THE FUCKING THING GO
The Home Alone script won out for me personally. “The snow shovels disappeared, the snow shovels reappeared, the snow shovels EXPLODED.”
I know I laughed SO HARD at that
i was waiting for kurtis to say this that part was soooo funny!!
David Lynch would be proud
The snow shovels *POUND*
it's so great
i keep thinking about how these are only as funny as they are because kurtis made them so with his acting, line delivery, and editing. the ai generated scripts themselves aren't what's funny, it's the human creativity that went into interpreting them. it's a prime example of why trying to turn to ai over actual artists will fail every time.
This is officially my favorite video of all time. Scott and Tim playing Laura, and at the end signing the wallet, the shovels disappearing, reappearing, and finally exploding, the ''let the thing go'' part, every scene where Little Johnson appeared, and Karl just saying ''349'', it's just perfect.
The repetition of “let the fucking thing go” in Banada Bada was a very powerful motif. Dare I say, an artistic feat. He has to literally let go of the kid’s neck, and metaphorically let go of his moroseness. Truly genius.
Marcus and Willie just tormenting this random child and saying "let it go" over and over is just too funny to me

I saw a glimmer of sanity and reason in that one brief moment, but then the scene continued and he was definitely still going through some crazy shit
"technology is moving quicker than our morals can decide what is ethical" you put it into words perfectly
💯
I don’t like that it’s true
More like our governments/judicial systems are one or two centuries behind and super happy to stay there while forcefully attempting to pull the rest of us back to the feudal era with them.
Honestly. Using AI to steal and produce work that would otherwise be made by an individual is definitely dystopian. Eventually AI will take more and more of our jobs. Then what?
@@ohtartarsauce6301 Also one of the really fucked up things is that it's gonna be horrible to try to litigate it cause a lot of these companies are based in the US but a lot of artists aren't. So artists whose work was stolen for this are gonna have a hard time seeking justice if that's something they want to do. Changing copyright laws is also gonna be really complicated. And just the fact that the damage has already been done, idk how you would un-train an AI and I don't think companies would be willing to do it either.
"The huge blob of air we SEE in the night stands out admirably, but we don't see it."

the home alone for sure won for me- the kisses unfurling from the backs of their heads, the cut to the microwave for no apparent reason, the snow shovels, the outside scene, all of it. perfectly matches home alone’s chaotic energy

These scripts are like if my dreams were Christmas themed
YESSSSSS
Shh, the A.I.'s are dreaming...
Also, for fun: in my most recent dream I was making biscuits and right before I put them into the oven I noticed a bowl of chocolate chips on the counter, thought about adding them...and then my neighbors started tipping my house over and I couldn't get out because they pushed it into a muddy sinkhole and everything was upside down.
I think we got our answer for “What do movies’ dreams look like?”
YEAH
Does AI dream of exploding snow shovels?
Watching almost a year later and it’s alarming how rapidly AI is evolving. Looking at the images generated in this video compared to images you can generate now, the difference is astonishing
die hard with karl saying 349 with a deep voice killed me idk why but the way kurtis performed it was funny as. and when hans says “i’m going through some crazy stuff right now” omfg again, kurtis’ performance was 🤌
Tim being happy about getting to have Tim for Christmas is the level of self love we should all aspire for tbh

don’t worry kurtis, you don’t need to see bad santa- your ai script is a pretty authentic recreation of what it’s actually like to watch it
You turned Home Alone and Bad Santa into fucking David Lynch movies, this was hysterical
i love how all the characters in the first one seem just as confused about what's going on as we are. its like they're aware nothing makes sense and are desperately trying to communicate
The editing... The acting... This was actually remarkably incredibly fantastic

Yes, I've never seen any actor pull off that "stethoscope" look as well as Kurtis (17:14).
Well ya he’s ideally an actor n has been for a while

LITERALLY WHST I WAS THINKIHG
Let the fucking thing go
if die hard isn’t a Christmas movie “just bc it takes place during christmas”, then home alone isn’t a christmas movie. plot has nothing to do with christmas, it just takes place during christmas
Movie time stamps:
10:58 Thee The Sainta Canttle
12:59 Hulme The Homese
15:03 Banada Bada
17:44 Hirard Harie The Dachfeei
My favorite was probably Hulme The Homese
These all turned into horror movies and I don't know what that says about AI
I really need to know what’s up with Kate in Holmes the Homese. Is she possessed? Is it a Home Alone x Paranormal Activity crossover? I’m invested now.
it’s crazy how much they remind me of dreams. makes you wonder if dreams are algorithmic in the same
way.
Something was beautifully surreal about seeing a house interior with a dairy section.
Low-key need one
I wish my house had a dairy section
That is definitely something that would happen in a dream
Walk in closet? Get outta here, dairy section is where it's at
@@jessicao-o165 walk-in dairy section
Seeing Kurtis acting like murdering a child in Banada Bada really made me believe Willie’s clear anger issues. At the end of it I was left with lots of questions about the other characters like any other film would do… I think AI is popping but it’s the acting+editing that makes this have some sort of sense. This was very cool to watch❤
Every time I ask for a story-based prompt--a short story, a play script, anything--the damn thing keeps writing me a happy or heartwarming ending, something with a moral. It's sickening in a way I can't quite place how a horror story titled "Blood Ghost" ends with finger-wagging about how "the little girl never disobeyed her wise grandma again".
the home alone one was genuinely terrifying
the dairy section was truly horrifying
I checked the comments to sure someone else was thinking this 😂
The ending changed me intrinsically
Aunt Leslie: "No, I don't care what Frank did. In this family nobody hits anybody."
Frank puts his arm around Kate. _He doesn't think so_
Frank: "No, I have a child at home alone."
That's so dark holy shit.
Yeah that was legit thriller genre hahaha

Banada Bada should win a dozen awards
When I was kid, My uncle asked my cousin’s boyfriend to pick up a movie we could all watch, on a huge projector screen, outside, as a family, the ages ranged from 7-70. That guy picked Bad Santa. He knew nothing about it but thought it would be suitable…it definitely wasn’t…it’s not a family friendly movie. 😂
7-70????
@@williammiller6330As in, the people who were supposed to watch the Christmas movie. The youngest was 7 and the oldest was 70
🤣
Yeah that movie is pretty gross lol wow
So did the kids watch it all or did the parents be like ok no
Oh my God. 😭😭😭 That movie is so gross. I don't even remember the plot, I don't think there was one lmao.
I think I need a full 2 hour movie of banada bada that was a masterpiece
Let the fucking thing go 😜
The thing that struck me about Banada Bada is that it's actually not *that* far off from what Bad Santa is actually like.
WHO THE FUCK?? TAKES THE SHIT?????
seriously. we need to get this man and the robot a budget to make a full version of at least one of these movies
I have never seen Bad Santa and now I feel like I never can because it will never live up to Banada Bada
If I remember well in Die Hard when John McClane first saw the big long haired german guy he called him Hulk once or twice, so I guess the AI recognise it, as it's a popular character so wrote it in the script
I cant with the "let it go" scene 😭

Title: "Holiday Ham Hole HAHAHAHAHAHA"
Genre: Comedy
Synopsis:
In the sleepy town of Hamville, where the residents are as eccentric as their love for ham, the annual holiday ham contest is the highlight of the year. Mayor Hamsworth, a ham enthusiast, takes the competition very seriously and expects nothing but perfection.
Enter Tim, a bumbling yet well-meaning chef who dreams of winning the coveted title but always falls short due to his disastrous cooking experiments. Determined to prove himself, Tim embarks on a mission to create the ultimate holiday ham recipe.
With the help of his equally quirky friends, including a ham-loving conspiracy theorist and a ham-obsessed inventor, Tim sets out to push the boundaries of culinary creativity. However, their experiments lead to hilarious disasters, including a ham catapult mishap and an accidental ham cannon.
As the competition deadline approaches, Tim and his friends must band together to salvage their chances of winning. Along the way, they learn that the true spirit of the holidays isn't about perfection but about the joy of friendship and embracing one's unique quirks.
Filled with ham-tastic humor and heartwarming moments, "Holiday Ham Hole HAHAHAHAHAHA" is a deliciously entertaining comedy that will leave audiences laughing and craving ham for days.
