Nice recipe! You can replace about 15% of the flour with Vital Wheat Gluten with just about no taste / texture difference and it makes the macros even sexier!
It does improve the macros, but not by as much as you'd want to believe. Gluten has PDCAAS of 0.24 as opposed to casein's 1 or beef's 0.92, its quality and digestibility is literally a quarter of that of animal protein sources. Yet some fitness cooking influencers like Exercise4CheatMeals treat it like it's actual high quality protein and provide inflated macros for their food as a result. The heck? That's self rising flour not all purpose. I'm not saying to not use self rising but I wouldn't use that shit for anything other than making biscuits.
Yep. Everyone - you can *use regular AP flour*. The added leavener in self-rising won’t help with leavening if the dough is left in the fridge over night. You may get some additional lift in the 1 hour method though. I don’t really like super puffy pizza dough though. I did the overnight with normal AP flour and it turned out well. I’ve been baking bread and pastries - including yogurt based doughs - for several years now and Rahul is on to something here. Yogurt can give you great bread results. Adapting this for healthier pizza dough makes a lot of sense.

Greek yogurt in the crust makes no sense. Removing it reduces the kcals by 150 and improves the texture dramatically
It's for adding protein
It adds protein! And it tastes good!
this is the only 16 inch I need
😭
i dont think people understand the fact that this is a pizza you can easily eat with your friends without them creating a whatsapp group without you and plan secretly to never eat at your place again, tortilla pizzas taste like soggy pizza, this is a real pizza, as others said low fat cheese would bring it down, also feeling hopeful that most people dont know how big 16 inch is * ( ͡ ° ͜ʖ ͡°) *
Yumm I love pizza
Me too!
Ahhhhh! Double the sauce and cheese and that would probably look great. It just looks a little dry and no stretchy, stringy mozzarella. Whyyyyyy?
i mean they use flour, yeast and water for the real crust so how is this low calorie pizza lol
At this point, just order a regular takeout pizza and scratch the itch
No bro this better for you
Is this Japanese pizza my man!!?
LOLOL yeah bro
Papa rahhhh
Yessir 🫡
Papa John, you’re a terrible father!!! 😭
Hell yeah buddy, I hate American "measuring" units.
Appreciate the grams and not the cups and half a cup and quadruple a cup and baseball a cup
Food scale the best, I don’t like cups and measuring spoons
900 calories for just the crust. you'll eat all that in one sitting? 1400 calories with the cheese. 65 g protein.
Wayyy less cals than real pizza and this is largeee
Not everyone's goal is to learn how to eat less. Some people prefer to eat voluminous meals, or need to eat a lot due to their caloric needs. He literally Not everyone's goal is to learn how to eat less. Some people prefer to eat voluminous meals, or need to eat a lot due to their caloric needs.
I'll eat it in one sitting and save about 2000 calories comparing to dominoes 16 inch
Flower is a deal breacker for me😢
nice recipe! but bro, heat rises.....lol
Bro if that's low calorie I'm not fat cause the pizza I just got from dominos comes out at less calories with more protein and trust me this shit ain't healthy.
Papa John’s doesn’t care, I do. Proceeds to make a low calorie pizza that’s 1000 calorie + Congrats you’re the first Indian I have met who failed maths this bad 😂
I prefer the real pizza from the Italian restaurant. And wow I'm still in shape year round without counting calories.
I still eat giant burgers and everything that I want.
Nice bro
im glad u didnt just make an egg white pizza because that shit aint pizza its omellete made another way 😭

🙏
Or you can have pizza with greek yogurt 😅😂
Then you’d have double the calories cause real pizza double the cals and less protein
pls help cheese fat high
Use low fat
The low moisture mozzarella cheese is made with skim milk, but you can even get a reduced fat mozzarella for even less calories, but it’s gonna taste like plastic. Just eat the cheese. Everything in moderation, right? 😉
Use low fat, use fat free but it tastes like plastic, or combine half low fat half fat free
@@RahulKamat they dont sell any low fat or fat free cheese where i live sir any tips or advice
@@kevinpaulin7690 not possible cheese has to be eaten in like big portions to taste cheesy and good
he just made a regular pizza, the only things he did not do was to leave the dough with the yeast in it for 4-5 hours and one tbsp oil .
Yea and as a result he got a 16" pizza with a 170 cal per slice where somewhere like pizza hut is whippin up 14" pies with 290 cal per slice, 3x the fat, and 30% more carbs. Do your research little one
To get the dough soft most places use olive oil but greek yoghurt was a great idea, will make the dough soft and is high protein low calorie. Other than that not that mind blowing. I would add some parmesan on top
Yep click bait
@Randomness662 you know what’s up, respect 🫡
Bullahit. You used wheat flour thsts not low calorie or low carb
Thumbnail looks bad. I mean, take it out of the oven before the cheese is burned.
I burnt it by accident 😭
@@RahulKamat why would you use that for the thumbnail then? lol
Tortizza. 🍑🍑🤮
dat shi not healthy
Why
@@RahulKamat bro thinks fat free low calorie is healthy, get a steak and potato
This is a hard cardboard cover that is far too brown, not a pizza😂😂
same calories of a real (but much better) italian pizza with freaking poor low quality ingredients. This recipe is just useless crap
It’s a fraction of the cals lol
@@RahulKamat you really wanna teach an italian guy what a pizza is made of? Come one dude, stop posting bullshit
I’m italian too lol
Not diet at all, click bait
Yo mama click bait
LOLOLOL
Low Calorie High Protein… is a diet… but doable diet 😆
PS. Just because a diet doesn’t make you cry yourself to sleep… doesn’t mean it isn’t a diet 😂
@@WordOfTruthTubehow is it a low calorie pizza???? lol this is ridiculous. I love this channel, but this video is not like his other videos. This is a high calorie video.
@@Tom-cn4cm 1 slice of an average piece of pizza is 300-500 per slice. This one is under 200 calories per slice. Making it lower calories then average. You’re allowed to eat your favorite foods altered to better fit your macros! That’s how I lost 100lbs. And I ate homemade cheeseburgers, homemade pizza, and homemade Asian chicken and still lost weight. I have to use gluten free flour or tortillas for my pizza. But this is a lower calorie pizza. I’d add vegetables so I would be more full on 3 pieces of pizza.
Also keep in mind if he strength trains, his macros are different then yours would be. But if you have been actually hard dieting for awhile, look up reverse dieting! Because your body’s ability to break down food and burn energy slows from straight diets too long. ❤️ hope this helped
You can’t compare anything to an RX bar they are hands down the worst tasting bar that ever was made haha. The RX bar people should be ashamed of themselves.
LOLOLOL it shouldn’t even be called a protein bar
Lol, self-rising flour is not all purpose, it has leaveners in it already.
Yup that’s right
