    OMG this could be the game changing recipe I’ve been searching for, I’m a 60 year old man who has been over weight for years and it has caused multiple health issues but I have made the decision that those days are over and I have been working hard to lose the weight and it is paying off but I still crave things like pizza, I came across this video and gave it a try, I have made it twice now for myself, my wife, and an adult son and we all love it, it tastes amazingly similar to a traditional thin crust pizza. I definitely used more cheese and toppings but paired it with a salad and was satisfied with one slice of pizza and it was delicious both times. Thank you for sharing this recipe and I also made your brownie recipe which is also delicious. I truly mean from the bottom of my heart that you have made a difference in my health so thank you.

    tip for if you dont have cream of tartar, you can easily replace it with double the amount of lemon juice. if it calls for 1/2 tsp cot, substitute with 1tsp lemon juice, fresh preferred. Add that when your egg whites are frothy and double in size.

    just made this for me and my girlfriend. made it with 12 egg whites! so we had a side of garlic fingers to go with. it as amazing. fantastic! a 9 out of 10 on the anabolic scale. I used corn flour rather corn starch. Still fine. no eggy smell or taste. just a bread type consistency, sturdy with crispy edges. Will be making again. nice

      Cornflour and cornstarch are actually often the same thing just different names in different countries - if it was white and kinda squeaky, that’s what you’re looking for.
      However, if it’s yellow, that’s not the same thing and wouldn’t work

    I made this today too! :D It was delicious, also filling! I also used carton egg whites, no issues at all with whipping. Used a tomato paste base then loaded it with a LOT of mushrooms, onion, spinach and used cottage cheese and parmesan for flavour (both less calories than regular cheese), with some natural yoghurt mixed with tikka flavouring dotted on it. The entire thing with all toppings, 250 calories.

    Just so he doesn't have to keep telling everyone who asks, liquid egg whites can be used but are not recommended because they dont whip up as well /have the consistency of regular carton eggs, but its still possible to use them maybe use a little extra tartar, and for how many grams, 1 egg white is about 30 grams so youll need 180 grams of whites for this recipe!
    Also i love the videos man you make some awesome stuff im gonna try this today and im considering getting a ninja creami to make your protein icecream it looks so good!

    Looks great! When you say 1 1/2 servings, etc, that’s is referring to that specific brands serving size. Not generally.

    • @RahulKamat
      @RahulKamat  Рік тому

      Correct but I’ve noticed serving sizes are pretty standard across brands here in the US (not sure about other countries though). But the amount of servings of pizza sauce and cheese is customizable, I got the grams of the actual crust in the description!

    I made the cloud crust but while baking it became very flat and dense. Your crust looks thick and light. Is that because you didn’t over whip the egg whites? I’m trying to figure this mistake out so I will like cloud bread and this pizza.

    What about adding psyllium husk powder for structure. When would you? When not and how many grams?

    • @RahulKamat
      @RahulKamat  2 роки тому +1

      I’d add after the egg whites have been whipped with the cornstarch. Then do one more quick mix to incorporate it all in. 5g should be a good amount

    Okay I don’t know what I’m doing wrong but I never got stiff peaks. Threw it in the oven with it being maybe halfway to stiff (it blended for at least 13 minutes straight) and I’ll update the comment with how it went.
    Edit: I have eaten half the pizza and I’ll be honest…
    Pros: it’s large and comes out at around 500 calories for me. With some water it’ll definitely be a filling meal.
    Cons: this took awhile to make and the taste isn’t there. It tastes like tomato, cheese, and seasoning.

    Tried it, liked it. The consistency is a bit weird at first. The bottom is a bit soft and the sides rather ... flaky-crispy. Defenitely worth making again. And for the little weight it's pretty filling.

      @@RahulKamat I don't mind at all. I'm into using alternative stuff for quite some time now and grew to like a lot of things that most people think are weird or just bad. For me this kind of stuff has it's own charme.
