It's a very good pour, just not a blow you away one. I was thinking a day or two later that it would make a fantastic manhattan/old fashioned. I feel like that comes across as an insult but with it being such a high rye/BouRye and a great proof point, I think it would really make a whiskey forward cocktail really shine. Kind of a best of both worlds if you typically drink Ryes in your Manhattan.

It's not a rye it's a bourye redwood lost monarch would be a better Comparison.
If we would've had that on the shelf, that would've been a great choice. Pikesville is also a 51% rye so brought it closer than you’d think.
