She just made this channel a super hit. She hung in there with you guys ,added a sence of raw honesty, from the mouths of babes kind of review. And her reactions where so colorful.
This made me think of hot ones, but better... Instead of some celebrity talking about their life, it's a random person learning about whiskey! I love it!
Start with Scotch or Bourbon, then transition to Rye and finish with something extra smoky, barrel-proof. Also in increasingly higher quantities (start with maybe 1/4 ounce and scale up to a full shot by the end). The person would freely choose to continue or not, same as Hot Ones, and the real deals can finish with that darn shot.
Alright guys, Briana needs to be a very regular extra to the channel. She's very funny! I love that her tasting notes are a series of facial expressions and hand gestures, and I knew exactly what she meant every time.
I have a huge array of whiskeys and I never understood the hate for Jack... I actually like the smell and taste, I find it smooth and sweet. Sure, it's not nearly as complex and special as some others, but I don't really have a bad experience with it. Maybe others just over-drink it in college and do stupid stuff then associate the drink with those emotions. Overall though, I find it pretty decent.
@@JoshChristiane It is most certainly not bad, but to me it is very boring, has no kick to it and the taste is sub-par. It is too sweet and then a bit bitter for me, that's it really. It has a strange taste, it tastes like feet. x) For the price you can get much better. I usually even prefer to drink a Jim Beam White if I want something simple and cheaper. In my country Jack's price sometimes goes up as high as Maker's Mark, and Maker's is just a whole different category, or Jim Beam Black which is again much-much-much better

@@fredlabosch5164 Johnnie Red is a good blended whisky. I tried Johnnie Black, but like Red better. I prefer Cutty Sark to either. Even bottom shelf blends can be very drinkable. A friend set up a blind tasting once, and Old Crow came out #1. Sometimes top shelf is worth the money, sometimes it's just marketing.
Ya his thought process was going back to when he was saying how not to stop on one word but to keep digging, He was helping her develop her whiskey vocabulary. Funny comment though just wanted to point that out.
Briana is very honest now that she's more comfortable with what she's doing. The guys have done a great job of making her feel like she's part of the team and valued for providing the newbie lady perspective. She is a trip! A whisky date with her would be an Uber night for sure.

I’ve just started binging your channel as videos pop up randomly as I drive to and from clients homes, and the amount of growth Briana has had under you guys is amazing. The content, knowledge, and antics in your videos are amazing and get me through the day.
I just wanted to say as a noob, this channel has been incredibly helpful and wildly entertaining. Recently became a fan of Bulleit Rye and Woodford Reserve's wheat, reminds me of a boozy applesauce.
It's a great channel for new explorers and it would have been great to have it when I started. However the exploring is just part of the journey and it's best done hands on so welcome aboard and hope you enjoy.

This channel, especially this video, and the full Ardbeg follow up introduced me to the whole idea of Islay Scotch and I've never turned back after trying Ardbeg.
I've been to the Jack Daniels Distillery. They let you smell it before and after the filtering. Before it is filtered it smells very yeasty like raw bread dough.
You guys rock, but she is marvelous. 👍😀 I am a whiskey noob myself. I have tried some whiskeys and bourbons like Johnny Walker, Jack Daniels, Jamison, Jeam Beam, Four Roses, Bullet Burbon, Aberlour, Monkey Shoulder...etc, but I am a total fan of Islay single malt whiskeys like Lagavulin, Laphroaig, Bowmore. I love smokiness and complexity of the taste. Thank you for teaching me. 👍

Try Knob Creek Rye. It's richer and more complex than the Bulleit, my favorite rye so far.

This channel, especially this video, and the full Ardbeg follow up introduced me to the whole idea of Islay Scotch and I've never turned back after trying Ardbeg.
I've been to the Jack Daniels Distillery. They let you smell it before and after the filtering. Before it is filtered it smells very yeasty like raw bread dough.
You guys rock, but she is marvelous. 👍😀 I am a whiskey noob myself. I have tried some whiskeys and bourbons like Johnny Walker, Jack Daniels, Jamison, Jeam Beam, Four Roses, Bullet Burbon, Aberlour, Monkey Shoulder...etc, but I am a total fan of Islay single malt whiskeys like Lagavulin, Laphroaig, Bowmore. I love smokiness and complexity of the taste. Thank you for teaching me. 👍
