If you compare this to 2017 beam finals, the execution in 2003 is so good. So little wobbles on beam.

@@lucasfred131 all events were ruined, maybe bars the least, but vault execution hurts my eyes, beam same + awful lack of flow. And don't get me started with FX with those dreadful spins and leaps nobody does well. Fortunately I have got UA-cam to enjoy former competitions.
Its hilarious that they said Chusovitina was an ancient competitor 10 years ago!

Well peter vidmar-the girls may get to lunge out of passes but they also have to move, turn, jump, and dance their asses off to music for 1:30...seems pretty even to me 😤

Both names are pretty common in Romania, but it is interesting to see two ladies with the exact same name.
I guess I am in the minorty but I don't like Dos Santos's dance. Her tumbling is great but this is artistic gymnastics and she doesn't exemplify that in my opinion.
I didn't notice any real choreography to be honest. Just jumps, leaps, and tumbling. There was no actual dance.
i respect your opinion, really, but tumbling can be seen as artistic... Are you thinking more of balletic like Lilia Podkopayeva and Nastia?
Gymnasts don't have to be balletic to be artistic. They can still exemplify grace in whatever form of dance they choose

I feel Dos Santos got by on too much of a "wow" factor. I can't stand watching her, she's too jumpy for me. I feel like I'm watching a little kid who needs to pee.
