- With BEACN Mix Create or when using BEACN Mic in Advanced Mode, it’s possible to have a 2 PC setup. All you need are a few cables. In this video, we show you how to configure a 2 PC setup with BEACN Mic or BEACN Mix Create with your BEACN Products on the Gaming PC.

Please make a video for setting this up on the streaming PC🙏🏻
Same I would like this
This makes so much sense it’s insane
This video is really helpful! I finally gotten around to setting this up after having a Beacn Mix Create for a few months now. I was thinking that you had to use VoiceMeter with this, but that is not the case! This really helps! Thanks so much!!!
I was always wondering about those super easy 2 PC streaming setups. Holy shit, this seems super easy. Thanks for the tutorial! Waiting until my Mic and Mix Create arrive 🥰
Just bought the beacon mic :D cant wait :P Greetz from Switzerland :P
Another great video. Where do you have your headphone pluged in? Default PC jack or extra external soundcard?
Great job! I am contemplating the two PC approach as to not bog down my gaming PC. Now I see its possible. I do have some questions though. Ill try to join the Discord. Thanks again!
That's awesome dude
Your diagram/virtual showing how to plug in is freakin genius. Wish I thought of that. Great job.
Are there any cons to managing the audio on the streaming PC? That would be more convenient for me to manage
So I am trying to set up two pc but ones a work computer with just a mic/headphone combo jack. Is there still a way I can hook them up so I don’t have to switch my headphones and mic from my gaming pc to my work pc for every meeting on the laptop?
to make use of the Twitch VOD track, and the fact that I own a Mix Create AND Mic, could I have the Mic on the gaming PC and the Mix Create on the streaming PC, allowing me to still use the Twitch VOD capability?
Is there any reason why I couldn't use an optical out from gaming PC sound card, to optical in on the streaming PC and just use my headphones on the gaming PC as normal? Cos I really don't want dual cables let alone ground loop connectors?
I uploaded the first Goxlr w/ PS5 tutorial. Hoping to grab one of these to make a Mix Create w/ PS5 video.
now could i do this same setup, but reverse. have the mic and mix on the stream pc?
does this only work with the create or the Mix as well?
Possibly dumb question but here we go. Does it matter which pc I have the mic and create hooked up 2? I imagine not since I have control to send the audio where I want but just thought I would ask the experts. Thanks.
I have everything working on the Mix create. But I hear myself in the headphones, any way I can turn this feature off? or at least turn it down?
Pouvez vous mettre en descriptions les câbles utilisés ?
good video!
What if your streaming PC is a laptop and dosnt have an In and out audio jack and only one audio port?
Can we do it on a streaming pc?
So ran my yesterday after I got it and people said I had an echo and was not able to mute mic or anything
I connect my Mix Create to my gaming pc so I don't need my stream pc on at all times. When I do want to stream with my dual PC setup, I cannot get this setup with the 3.5mm cables to work. obs will not hear anything. Please help, I don't want to go back to my XLR Mini!
Would love this for a streaming PC
Keep an eye out, we've got some solutions coming in the new year that will help!
Also, on my gaming pc all I have for sound is a line out and a mic in. Stream pc has a line out, line in, and mic in.
Hello, I just bought the Beacn mic and mix create which I will be gaming on my desktop PC and streaming via my laptop. My laptop does not have the line in and out thought... Any idea how I would get the duel PC/ laptop setup working with the Beacn stuff?
hi did you figure it out im running with the same problem?
I have another question, will the mixer work if I have my wireless headset plugged into my Razer base station v2 and that’s plugged into my pc?
Yep! You would just select the razer base station as the personal listening device in the mixing suite.
I have everything pluged into my goxlr my 2 pcs and ps5
Can you use the Beacn mix to do this as well or is it only the mix create that will work for this?
Because BEACN Mix does not create any additional devices or have a driver, it will not use the same tools that BEACN Mic and BEACN Mix Create use for 2 PC setups. While it can work within an existing 2 PC setup, it cannot be the tool you used to route.
Great guide but I currently would like if you can make one for those who have all audio including music, discord, etc on the streaming PC. Currently my gaming pc only has the game and all music discord or whatever else is done on the streaming pc to reduce load on the gaming. I personally dont know why I would install this on my gaming pc.
Check out Alpha Gaming, he's put out a video detailing how to do just that
Hey there! Can any Jack cables work? or do we specifically need a TRS cable?
no matter what i do i cannot get this to work.. i follow all the steps but even with ground loop isolators on both lines all i hear is feedback from the stream pc... the audio from game pc to stream is good and works normally but i cant get any audio back from the stream pc to the game pc! i guess i should just open a ticket
I did the same, but my sound is not transmitted correctly in OBS. It sounds choppy. Tried it with a recording, and it sounds horrible. Can someone help me? I connected it the same way.
Choppy sound is usually indicative of something else. We recommend getting in touch with our technical support at support.Beacn.com or on Discord at BEACN.gg/discord
How would the Mix Create work if I was repurposing a Razer 17inch laptop to be a streaming PC? @beacn and team?
We would recommend getting an inexpensive USB sound card.
Where should I put beacn software program on !? Streaming pc or gaming pc ?
Hi there! thanks for reaching out! You would plug the BEACN hardware into the game PC and install the app on the game PC as well.
If you use a headset would you select your headset for the audience mix?
Headsets would be selected under the personal mix. audience mix is for stream audio.
@@beacn got it thank you thought I’d ask cuz I’m getting the regular mix to help with my elgato
ngl, it really sucks that I can't split audio channels to stop my music from playing over the audience mix for a 2 PC set up so it's not saved ony my VODs.
How about a 2 PC setup with the goxlr mini and rode pod mic and mix create?
Your other audio products have no bearing on how to use BEACN Mix Create in a 2 PC setup. All the steps in this video are still accurate - except changing your microphone from BEACN Mic to Voice Chat Mic.
What do I do if my streaming pc can’t detect the line in?
Same problem here!
did you resolve the issue? im having the same problem.
ok i think i got it working. Download and install the latest Realtek drivers on your streaming pc
yup same thing lol may return product and say fuck it
Wait, how do I change my audio into a stereo
Can this work with the regular Beacon Mix?
Because BEACN Mix does not create any additional devices or have a driver, it will not use the same tools that BEACN Mic and BEACN Mix Create use for 2 PC setups. While it can work within an existing 2 PC setup, it cannot be the tool you used to route.
If you are routing a 3.5mm from both in/out from the gaming and streaming PC, where do you plug in your gaming headset?
and speakers for that matter.
wondered the same, would rear otuput work? i always used the line out
What microphone arm are you using??
The Rode PSA-1.
@@beacn thank you!!!
do you have to use the ground loop isolators? and what do they do.....im a noob lol
You don't *have* to use the ground loop isolators (GLI), but in most cases they will help. Whenever you're connecting 2 analog devices to the same electrical ground, the opportunity for static and noise is high. Ground loop isolators remove this noise in almost all cases.
@@beacn oh thank you for the tip, your right I've had issues with static before, prob the reason lol
My audio is laggy in my recording on my second pc!
You know you're early when the video is still processing. 360p gang.
Does the Astro Mixamp change this process?
What is the use case for using an astro mixamp?
@@Turbo_David without the Mixamp you are unable to set manual EQ settings.
@@billyd3219 If your using the beacn mic it has an EQ for headphones. If you want to use the Mixamp in this case you would treat the mixamp as a usb sound card and it would be your output device on the software. pretty simple
Recommendation for someone who is Gaming on a PC but streaming from a Laptop.
Damn I have a pc and a laptop so tho doesn’t work…
We need a video on how to do this with a GOXLR/mini I think I got it set fine but we all know someone can do it better
This is a beacn video, come on!
device is trash. i've spent more time waiting for it to initialize audio engine than actually using the device. yet you guys provide no fix for it and since it's out of warranty we are stuck with a part time working device. will never buy from this company again.
Hard stop at 2:05. You’ve assumed the streaming PC has an existing line in. If the Mix Create does not have one itself, it’s game over for me.
Literally every PC ever has a line in....and if by chance your motherboard somehow doesn't have a line in, in 2022, you can buy a USB one from Amazon for $7.
@@SDGolfGuy that’s fair. I’ll pass on this product then.
Do I need the ground loop isolator if I use a headset? Also does the 3.5 cable matter or can I just get any?
Hey There, Yes you will most likely need the isolators as they are used for the connections between the PC's and not the headset.
@@beacn great thank you
