Is the Beacn Mic Worth It?

- After about a month of using the Beacn mic I think it's time to have a closer look at it and really determine if it is indeed worth its premium price point.

Hi. Very well done. Keep up the good work and soon you will blow up. The video has every information that I need as I currently try to understand whatever it will be worth for me to buy Beacn Mic. Not only that, everything is fluid and quite pleasant and made in a way that I'm not feeling bored or exhausted.

I decided to listen with my Munitio Pro 40 studio grade headphones lol. 6 years old. Love 'em. Anywho the Beacn sounded great out of the box. Your settings added something that made it sound a bit muffled. Not very noticeable though. The Rode sounded similar to that. Neither were bad though. I just noticed the clarity of Beacn raw vs those 2. The Fifine had a lot more of that muffled sound which was noticeable while the Elgato took away your bass and broadcaster sound which I like.. They all were good to listen to though. Separately. Like if each were "your" mic. Great video. Keep 'em coming.

Question: Does the mic save settings? Like do you need the app open to just plainly use the mic, or just to set it up? If the app crashes halfway through a stream or smth will the mic just stop working, or can the mic run on its own after being set up?
would you recommend this over the elgato wave 3?
We have very similar sounding voices, is it possible for you to upload your settings for this mic? I'm looking to purchase it sometime soon based off your review :D

Felt bad I missed your recent stream! the time you streamed your live stream was when I was asleep haha.
I completed the COD MW2 campaign a few days ago it's one of the most greatest action games and experiences I had in a long time 10/10 worth the money.
I also played a bit of the COD MW2 multiplayer and that to is great but just annoying like any FPS games when you get taken down.

What’s your current audio setup? Still using procaster and wave link?
Yes I am! Honestly it’s a tough choice though to a degree. Beacn sent me their mic, rode sent me their xdm100, and I have the procaster. I’ll probably rotate them just cause.
does the app have to be running on the Pc to make the mic work ? ( asking cuz the mic is advertise to have on-mic processing and want to know if after setting up all the EQ and other thing if those setting are saved and running trough the mic without the need off the app ) Thks ! -Steven
Let me confirm this on my own BUT via the app you’re able to save the settings (for example eq) to the app and separately to the mic itself. So in theory yes, you can save the setting to mic and shut down app and it should still work with processing. Will try to answer on the next 24 hrs

@@SCRIBtv_YT yes u can completely uninstall the app after u have saved the eq on ur mic and it will work.
But if u change ur PC then you’ll have to download the app again to install the drivers before u use the mic on the new setup.
Dramatically underrated
The mic? Agreed. The app has its issues but it is a pretty solid mic!

If you want the RGB color of your choosing seen on camera, its intensity should be around 9.
Your camera sensor is way more sensitive to light levels than your eyes.
That's why you see it purple, but your camera overexposes it.
If you have elgato app open and beacn for some reason it will make the beacn mic be invisible
Mmm might be unique to you. Yesterday I was recording with the BEACN mic and my
Sm7b (through wave xlr) had both apps open and it was fine
