The freedom alone is enough reason to get an android. Apps, music, videos and other files can be gotten basically anywhere on the net with ease with an android and can be moved to your PC. That's just me tho

Apps, music, videos etc can all be grabbed straight on the phone without ever needing to connect it to a PC, that's true of Android or iOS devices. That's the thing here, phones are increasingly devices that people use independently of a computer, often instead of one.

The main thing that nobody talks about is the Photos Too. Android is managed incredibly. With most Social Media apps having their own separate folders. So sharing something is incredibly easy.
While iPhone is lightyears behind. Most photos are saved in one single Album. The only exceptions being Camera and Screenshots. So sharing a particular image is very inefficient.
This is not that big of a deal, but if you're switching from an Android, it's gonna be a pain.

@@jirikocman In the States you may have a limited selection of Android phones but in Europe you can get a decent Xiaomi, Samsung, Honor, Motorola, OnePlus or Oppo phones for less than quarter of the price of an iPhone and it will do everything you need without lag or stutter. The Samsung Galaxy A54 is a great phone and can be bought on Amazon UK for around £249 and it has a great 6.4 inch Super Amoled screen with a 120htz refresh rate, a 5000 M/A battery, 8gb ram and 128gb storage but that can be expanded via micro SD. The basic iPhone 15 costs £799 in comparison, has a smaller screen and only 128gb storage which can't be expanded. As for apps they are basically identical on iOS and Android. Android lets you use your phone as you want where as with Apple you use your phone as they dictate. Android all the way!

I switched to iPhone 4 years ago. I miss some things about Android but I really like iOS. Also, my computer gear and tablets are Apple so I've been assimilated! No more issues like I used to have with Windows. Also, I traded in an old iPhone on a Pixel 7 to get an Android fix. While the FP sensor is still janky, it does take good pics. Will I return to Android? Maybe. I think I may ponder it as the S23 Ultra is coming and also next year the Pixel 8 will be out. They may tempt me, but all my apple stuff works very well so I can't really say for sure. My 13 Pro is excellent and the battery life is great.

I just switched from Android to iPhone in July after 11 years of Android. I think you need to re-scan your face for Face Unlock. It works pretty darn well for me. Even if my face is off to the side, and I wear glasses and a mask. Pretty brilliant. There are some pretty neat keyboard shortcuts if you learn them. Overall, the only thing I really miss is Always on Display (I probably should have waited to get the iPhone 14 Pro). And since I have Mac computers instead of Windows, transferring files and pictures is pretty great with AirDrop. I do miss other aspects of my Pixel 3a, but overall it's been a mostly successful switch.

I own mack and pc, and transfer files photos and videos from iPhone to PC is easy as on Android, just plug cable into PC, open explorer and you will see iPhone device, open it and you will see your photos/videos same as on android.
Maybe it needs driver installed, I have iTunes due to Apple music on my PC, but it is same as with Android, you need extra app for Mac to access filesystem directly. But with Mac and iPhone/iPad... I can just use CPOY/PASTE to transfer fies, no cable needed

Wow, interesting. I've moved from an iPhone to an S22 Ultra two months ago.
Fingerprint is very inconsistent for me, half the times I need to try 3-4 times or put in my PIN, Face ID worked for me 100% of the time. This is the ultrasonic top-of-the-line best in class sensor.
I had crashes (mostly third party apps like nerd wallet, but still - this wasn't a thing on iPhone), weird bugs, UI issues and horrible app optimizations, camera / shutter lag, performance issues from this "flagship" - non of those ever were a thing on an iPhone that's less then three years old.
Android auto is both bad in UX and super, suuuuppppeeeerrrr slow.
Camera is amazing when it works, but 75% of the time it stutters and I get a blurry photo of the back of someone. Doesn't matter how many megapixels you have behind that awesome telephoto - if it doesn't work when you need it to work. This is a phone, it needs to be a point and shoot - not a DSLR.
Messaging is okay, it's more or less the same, I don't really use all the weird extra features iMessage allows like consuming media with a group?? Who does that?
UI is nicer, iPhone's caught up mostly but not quite there, theming is great, good lock is nice.
    The Google feed is nice.
Privacy is BAD, like HORRIBLY BAD, you notice it immediately! If you even dare search for anything with google on an android you are immediately bombarded with targeted ads EVERYWHERE. I'm guessing those things are "invisible" to someone already using android for a while, but as someone who only recently came back after 6 years on iPhone - wow, that's very noticeable.
Automation is years behind (surprisingly, I really thought Android would be much better). I do a lot of automation -both professionally for work and for myself. Shortcuts is better featured, better integrated and more reliable then google assistant routines, bixby modes and routines, Alexa routines, Smartthings and IFTTT combined - and I do have to combine all of these to get most of what I got on an iPhone natively.
Smart home is a mess, maybe with matter things will be better, sometime in the future.

I have no back button on Android too, It is few years ago when I learned gestures, and that button navigation is first thing I will turn off on Android device.
On iOS there is no need from back button even in menus as you can swipe from left to right to get back to previous scrren...
But this video is just misunderstanding iOS, no try to solve problems as most described problems are just user error not willing to fix it.

I switched to iPhone just becouse I can write text messages from Macbook. And I switched to Macbook becouse it is only one well perfroming laptop with passive cooling, Same I switched to Apple Watch just for one feature - it can unlock my Macbook, no other watches can do it
I really like that ecosyste, but centerpiece for me is Macbook

Terrible comparsion. You are probably most fixed to Android, most of your complains are just about settings. For example, open links in respective apps. I really hate if anything will open App instead of web page. But you can easily set it to open external link in corrsponding app.
Im curious what you are doing with faceID, never had problem even with very wierd angles
Casting audio is easy same as on android, just use control center.

Interesting thing is, when he complained, that youtube link opens on UA-cam app, well, I've been annoyed at my Samsung about quite opposite - why would I watch UA-cam link video on my browser, if I have an app for that? I'd like to look at it in my UA-cam history, but, no, I have to switch that separate. Quite annoying

I used android forever. You didn't learn how to use apple before deciding. I know I am 42 and just now learning apple. It is not that hard maybe you just are not as tech savvy as you would like to think. Because apple is very simple to figure out.

@@mirzarizwanbaig9449 yeah I don't know if Apple will give you much for it but you could try selling it on Facebook marketplace or something like that but if you're an iPhone fan yeah I can see how a budget pixel phone would disappoint you... Maybe you just should have bough high end android. Like galaxy s series. I still use my galaxy s10e, and it works well after 3 years use. Iphone 13 is flagship phone, that's why you see such difference.
