@@breezy5831you should! Iphones are not the same as they were... The only downside of having an iphone is the shitty battery and other than that everythint is great. Been an android user ever since 2011 and got my first iphone last 2020 (my trial iphone ip6s) and it was great so i upgraded to ip11 pro max last 2023... And now ill soon be getting the ip15 in a few months. Anyways the point is, i tried it and never gone back to android (as a main device).

What i loved immediately about iphone 14 were:
    FaceID
    SWIPE GESTURES
    Realistic photos
    Effortless pairing with samsung tv
Overall very reliable in terms of responding to commands (save SIRI)
    Backtap is very handy
Phone is really light and easy to use with one hand.
    What i hate:
Paying extra for a lightning charger.
Built in Keyboard lacks numbers row
Outlook not updating inbox and sent items.(Moved account to MAIL).
Siri is not so good though. Gets my contact names wrong quite often.
    Not a gamer, i don't mind 60hz refresh rate.
Probably gonna upgrade to pro after 3 or 4 since i bought it new in 2023.
Looking forward to ios 18 new features. Thanks for the video.

I have been free all of my life but I recently decided to transfer to jail. I had to give up my house and much of my money. But jail has many features that I like...including free food, no worrying about making a living, many opportunities to socialize with others and the security of a strong (very strong) roof over my head. I understand those of you who don't want to choose this path. Most of my friends think I am making a bad choice. But choices are good. The biggest problem is that if I decide to switch back to freedom it will be extremely difficult.

I have both an iphone 13 pro and a Samsung galaxy s21 ultra and they are both very good devices. I think that if you are going to switch from one to the other, you should consider which apps and festures you are using, and if those apps and features are available one the other device. Personally i mis the fingerprint reader, the notifications, the camera zoom and the split screen when i am on the iphone, but that is just me.

    • @andersstudstrup2555
      @andersstudstrup2555 9 місяців тому

@Trustn01718 On the android phone you have all your notofications on the top of the screen. On the iPhone you have the notifications stacked, a bit like when you pull down to see the notifications on android. The difference is that you never have them displayed on top of the screen for quick reference on the iPhone. If you are an android power user, there will probably be features you'll miss, but in a few days/ weeks you'll have adapted to the Apple way of doing this and be happy.

@@andersstudstrup2555yup. Just went through this process with a macbook air m1 that i got for christmas. Im so impressed with it. It took me only a couple hours to feel acquainted, especially since troubleshooting world of warcraft on it was an involved process that really got me familiar with the file management and mac way of doing things. Gotta say, as a pc gamer who builds desktops and has only had garbage laptops for bare necessities, the mac is impressive. It is convincing me to swap my s22 ultra for a used 13 pro max. Especially with the seamlessness between the iphone and mac. For the record, im not really gaming on mac. I just log in for auctions on world of warcraft lol. Its insane how well it runs on such a small device with no fan while only getting slightly warm. M1 has changed me lol.

I'm a casual smartphone user. So I don't have much trouble switching from Android to iPhone. In fact, I did not do any migration of data from my 9-year-old OnePlus One to the iPhone 15. Not photos. Not contacts. Not messages.
I used the opportunity to clean out my Contacts and rebuild it by vetting every contact.
The iPhone UI is fairly easy to adapt to. I did minimal customization (just chose a wallpaper and set some battery-saving options).
I don't normally buy apps. If it's free and useful, then I install it. Otherwise, I do without.
The reason I switched is: 1) my OnePlus One died; 2) iPhone was a *prestige* purchase (Galaxy and Pixel and OnePlus are *not* prestigious); 3) I bought it to mark my 70th milestone birthday.
At the end of the day, most smartphones are pretty similar in terms of function and capability. The iPhone has a good camera, a nice display, and good battery life. What else do I need?

Also, integration between iPhone and MacBook wasn't great either - my text messages were not syncing and I didn't know why (sometimes some of the messages sent from phone were not visible on MacBook). AppleTV device is yet another expensive thing which doesn't give you options you need. Why Apple Music is lossless while there's no digital output in current AppleTV device versions?
PS. Move to iOS on Google Play has rating 3.2/5. Not that great.

Your Face ID comparison just amazed me. Wasn't the Fingerprint enough to do what Face ID could do? Isn't password and OTP still in use for recognition though we already have the so called FaceID for more than 5 years? What did FaceID actually replaced? Nothing. Just a selling gimmick.

What's App is something no one in my life uses. More of an international thing but even my worldwide friends. mainly all Apple Androids don't last long and you pay more in the end. Apple devices last manyyyyyy years

With Android devices there a good chance that a custom rom will exist for the phone, providing software updates far beyond what Apple provides. The Galaxy SII for example has a Android 13 rom available for it but the iPhone of the time is stuck without any recent software support. The SII has gotten eleven years of software support, sure it might not all be from Samsung but it is still being done.
