What I’ve realised after switching from android to iPhone after buying my 15 Pro Max, is that on android, you change the phone to adapt it into your life. Where with iPhones you change the way you use your phone to use it how Apple intends you to, I really don’t like that, I would like more options on iOS!
I wish more content creators talked about the differences in notifications like you did. It was so eloquent. But it seems that lifelong iOS users don't realize how bad it is, because that's all they know.
no, there are just people that care about different things than you. i was a life long android user and apple hater, i switched and although as with every tech, it has its flaws, notifications isnt one of them. and btw, if someone is 100% on one side of a conflict like this, he is just as fooled as the exact opposite, it just depends on what you care about and what flaws you can adapt to, as all devices have some
Notifications are objectively worse on iOS. It's not even debatable. I'd take Android notifications from version 4.2 (2012-2013) over iOS's current notifications. If you prefer iOS, that's fine, but don't pretend that notifications on iOS aren't seriously flawed.
@@mzr9710 we all understand the message of your comment. You are just being bias, that's all. Its very clear android notification system trumps iOS. A lot of people just uses what majority use to feel among and be in an ecosystem. Its not that they care about different things than us.
If you’re taking about camera settings, then this lady doesn’t know how to change camera settings from camera app. She calls herself content creator, but what she changed in settings app for camera, she never needed to do that. And also some more setting’s she doesn’t know how it works in apple. Doubt she ever used an iPhone.
@@detrakis just tap on the resolution and framerate for video mode. And tap pr long press on picture format to swich resolution and change format in photo mode.
@gauravmadan13 Cool, I will try that one day, if I buy an unintuitive Apple device 😅. See the problem is Apple doesn't make it obvious or show all those options anywhere.
@@detrakis 🙂 It is too obvious, Apple actually doesn’t need to do anything. It’s there on the screen if you see 🤣🤣. At least for so called UA-camr who was recording on iPhone for years, and if she didn’t knew that, imagine how dumb she is with her gears, or she never used apple actually 🤣
@@mr_n3w_3ra All your paying for with an iPhone, is an extremely overrated "Apple" name. Oh yeah, of course there's always "Apple status" lol... whatever that is. People have fucking iPhone on the brain, I swear. I prefer open source and off the grid, not locked down and pay for everything.
Im the only one that left the apple ecosystem at a younger age. I already had the common sense when i was in high school. I was born in a time where if u had an iphone u were popular in school, but as years went by, it all changed to competition and ppl arguing android vs apple. I love android personally bc of the ecosystem, it represents inclusiveness bc it has different brands but made on the same operating system, and it just feels like a pc in the palm in your hands since developer mode takes your experience to a whole new level, also the EASTER EGG of checking your update version is so fun to mess with, and finally every app is so much easier to log in to since you can login with a google account and you can choose which one if you have more than one. I believe that android users represent the future gen of flip phones back in the day since we use the same brands that made all the flip phones. I have used an lg lotus flip phone, motorola droid razr m, iphone 4, lg stylo 2, lg v10, iphone 7, iphone se, oneplus 6t, and finally google pixel 7. I bough a samsung galaxy fold 4 and am getting it delivered today which im excited about. I will always love android bc android is the most innovative and gets me more excited about technology as a whole than apple ever will. I just hate how strict apple services and or the experience is, and overpriced 😔
I have the same experience with my Ubuntu Linux PCs vs the spouse's MacOS computer. I think the MacOS desktop is awkward to use. As to phones, is best to get an unlockable Pixel phone and install the security/privacy focused (and de-googled) GrapheneOS. The phone is THE primary device for spying via data collection and location tracking - neither Apple or Google can be trusted. The Graphene web installer works pretty well, but stick with a Windows or Mac computer to install from, alas there are isdues with trying to install from a Linux PC - and the command line installer is just as problematic. Sad that that's the case, but Graphene folks probably stretched thin so they concentrate on where the majority of users will install from. It was flawless from the spouse's MacOS computer usung Brave browser with ad blocker temporarily disabled - best to use a browser based on Chromium. The web site list supported browseres and OS from which can web install from

The things you just mentioned are the stuff that keep me on Android. Most of them were spot on and the reason why I still haven't switched even though I've been keeping up and even testing out every release model of the iPhone up until now. It's the little things that make a huge difference.
IPhones are for people who have very basic computing tastes, or people who simply always hated using computers. Everything on iOS is backwards for people who loved computers before smartphones.
Broo. I have an iPad pro. The amount to times I have found myself getting pissed over simple task that are easy on the android platform is just crazy. I want to mark pictures on vlc, I'll have to click option, then select while on the android just hold and you can mark
I think the iOS methodology for keeping ALL settings in one “Settings” menu works very well for the technology illiterate. Anyone that spends large quantities of time on a pc will feel frustrated by their approach. It’s always an adjustment when swapping between platforms.
I've been using DeX with a Galaxy and AR glasses as a desktop replacement experiment. I remember when cell phones didn't exist, and my first computer was an 8088. I used an Apple Newton 120 extensively. The portable desktop experience with Samsung DeX and AR glasses is quite amazing. I love having a fully capable desktop computer with keyboard, mouse, and huge screen no matter where I am. I can use FLIR cameras, web cameras, large storage devices, wired ethernet, Microsoft Word, and printers easily in my car or with a power bank. I can VPN to my private cloud at home and stream games or desktops over 5G. The stuff available nowadays is really impressive. I keep my Newton 120 around for laughs!
My work, issued me an iPhone and I have the Samsung S24 Ultra for my personal phone. I can totally relate with your experiences with iPhone, the inotifications, gestures and app settings are frustrating, confusing and not user friendly!
Same. iphone for work. My temper goes up when using iphone just because of the swipe back, copy/paste, and notifications. so i always end up using my s24. my iphone batt lasts for 2 days just coz I barely use it
Funny, I'm a lifelong iphone user and I find android baffling. I can only do the most basic tasks, and even then sometimes I have to google instructions on how to do it.
Also if you want Android you can get the S24 ultra but every time you hold it it will dig into your Palm let's hope round the corners of the S24 ultra with the new S25 ultra next year Nothing says Android is so much better than an iPhone than digging into the Palm of your hand because the corners are so sharp lol yeah the S24 ultra is So much better lol
@@rileybusse9351 the reality is 90% of people will use cases on their phone when shelling out $1300+ on it. The only time you'll feel those "sharp edges" is if it's off. I AM very happy Samsung finally went w a flat screen on the S24 Ultra though. The curved screens were pretty, but they cracked way too easily on the bend.
I agree to every word. I've tried to switch to iPhone for the first time. The device is great, but those little annoiances really add up... so I returned it and got a new Android instead. I'd add the lack of a fingerprint reader. Face ID is great, but I just want to be able to unlock my phone when it's sitting on my desk.
I find with my work iPhone that face ID often doesn't work. It doesn't recognize me and I've reset it many times. I like the in screen fingerprint scanner in my android so much better. And funny thing I recently got an S23fe, moved up from the A53 and set up face unlock and it works faster then the iPhone 13. Android wins again .
@@The_Shock_and_Awe We have different standards for fast. I think Face ID is safer than most alternatives, but maybe among the slowest. Regarding the fingerprint unlock, I often use it when I don't want to lift my phone from the desk.
Just switched over a little over a month ago to a S24 Ultra and you hit it on the head. Been an iPhone user for over a decade and I just got bored quite honestly. Great video!
@@DougJDougFacts a phone is a tool used to do things in life . I had Samsung and apple both are just phone . Ill stick with apple because samsung is good but a phone is a phone.
@AdrianCarlosEnriqueFlore-ju6zmMore like decades ago. All I have seen in video is straight up worse than even Android 2.3. Perhaps it's better than old Symbian or Windows Mobile, somewhere around 2008-2009, but in 2024 it's anything but that. In terms of simplicity it's genuinely worse than ancient Android Gingerbread or any more modern Android version.
I'm neither a Samsung galaxy user nor an iPhone user but at 3:17 in this video, you can see samsung bloatwares notifications from galaxy themes, galaxy store, weather app. It makes no sense to buy a $1300 Android phone filled with bloatwares & their notifications, it's not a value for money when you can buy cheaper phones with same SoC & similar hardware. BTW i use Realme X2 as my daily driver since 2019.
I'm the same, I use a MacBook Pro and an ipad Pro. My phones however has always been Samsung. The problem I have is not being able to find decent software to transfer data from my Samsung phone to my MacBook.
I don't understand why people say iOS is simple...it really is less intuitive than android in many ways. Just use what you like, just don't justify it by lying.
The only thing that it has that I liked was spotlight search. On Android you have to be in the settings app to search settings, you have to be in the contacts app to search contacts, you have to be in the app drawer to search for apps. I loved the iPhone search feature it searches everything in one spot. It’s easier to navigate in that way. My Android phone is 5 years old so not sure if Android fixed that. But really liking the iPhone in that regard. Besides that I noticed to most things on iPhone either took more clicks then any did on Android or the simple features like how much time tell the phone is charged are completely missing all together. Not only that I noticed a lot of things being backwards. Instead of swiping left in internet, you have to swipe right. Instead of swipping up you swipe down for search. Heck the address bar is on the bottom instead of the top on iPhone. So many things are opposite is insane. It threw me off. So after going through all that the hype didn’t deliver at all. I don’t understand how iPhone users say it’s so much easier to use or that it’s faster, or that it’s a better experience. The differences are very settle and not deal breakers either way. And overall the iPhone didn’t deliver at all with all the claims. I have to think these people that think Android is way worse then iPhone are comparing it to the Android of 10 years ago and have no clue what modern Android is like.
@@zonk1477 “The only thing that it has that I liked was spotlight search. On Android you have to be in the settings app to search settings, you have to be in the contacts app to search contacts, you have to be in the app drawer to search for apps.” No you don't... Did you even searched on Android if you could do that? I don't think you realize how you can do literally anything on Android, precisely because it's open (source). On any Android, you can install launchers (another concept that blows any iPhone users considering how much they can't customize their OS appearance) and install modules (for those which don't natively integrate one but allows you to from a third party) that will be able to do and look for pretty much anything on your phone, whether it's apps, contacts, messages, files on your phone, calculation or conversions, internet searches and even do specific actions in apps that do support it, like Maps to look for a place (and I probably missed some functionalities). There is nothing an iPhone can do that any Android phone can't do or can't replicate with a third party app, absolutely nothing.
@@zonk1477I can search across my entire phone (Galaxy S24 Ultra) from the search window at the top of the app tray. This also works exactly the same on my Galaxy S10+ from 2019!
@@georgealex19 I bet my ass 99% of the people who say that haven't used an Android phone in their life. They just tell you because thats what apple tells them to. I know I did the same before I even tried an Android phone.
It's not about what phone you want to have that irks me it's the misinformation Apple fan boys keep perpetually spreading. Like the ecosystem or the camera. That's not even true. The ecosystem is so big now on Android it's not closed off like Apples. The camera is better is false too just watch MKBHD video ware no one knew what phone took what photos and people picked Apples last for photos. If they didn't spread so much misinformation I wouldn't even care.
I don’t see why people fuss so much over who uses what. Who cares , people should just get out there and live life and stop staring at a screen all day long.
@@Anamae5451isnt considering you own view as the objective and only truth, kind of a part of fanboying? in my opinion everyone should use what they prefer, and stop caring so much about what other people use, at this poin smartphone market is getting boring, because all devices reached their peak and essentially are equal, and its a great thing actually, because the changes in new models will be less driven by "who gets the new best most experimental feature" to attract new customers, but rather by mastering already great devices to do what they do even better.
This video really deserves to win an award. It was concise, it was reasonable, and outlined the arguments in an easy to follow manner. Excellent job, Vielen Dank!
The first point doesn’t actually count because you’re doing video macro the wrong way. you’re supposed to go into 2X mode and move further away for video micro. you can turn off macro mode just press the little yellow button then going to 2X
Yes if I didn’t use an iPad, or be tech support for my family, I’d certainly consider switching. But obviously many of the points you raised can be fixed by not using the standard apps. As for Apple specific issues, the keyboard can be replaced with one you like and the volume can be adjusted separately by altering a selection in the settings.
I tested multiple keyboard apps for iPhone and idk what Apple did but they‘re worse than their android counterparts. Also the android phone I tested against was less than 100€… and it still outperformed the iPhone 11.
@@fritzlb I’ve not had a problem with the iOS keyboard, but I’ll take your point that the android ones are probably better. As for beating a 5 year old phone, I hope it does.
As someone who has used both os’s I find that android is really fun too tinker with. But doing the basics or long term use tend too give me issues that iOS never really gave me, while iOS also tended too remain stable for longer and having more tinkering abilities now then people think it does (also alt store gives me a ability too sideload so I’m not missing that)
Yeah, I ditched Android and don’t regret it one bit…. I just got tired of my overheating samsung and needing to buy a new Android phone each 1-2 year(s).
Agree with all you say but you didn't mention a few features I use daily on Android that aren't available on any iphone! 1. Split screen view 2. Scroll capture 3. Secure Folder 4. Extend lock [used to be called Trusted Devices]. 5. The flip out side panel. 6. Air command with the S pen..... I could go on.... !
iPhone user here. I bought an S23 with the intention of switching over until I realised that you cannot have wake lock screen notifications (Edge display) that can also be turned off while using the phone.
I switched to iPhone (15pro max ) for the first time ever in my life from android, I agree with whatever you said… sometimes i feel like am disabled especially this freaking keyboard in iOS
Your smile and energy conveys a lovely feeling and your videos are truly professional-grade, detailed and honest. Flawless work. Thank you for this video !
To be honest, there are hardly any reasons today why one would prefer an iPhone over an Android flagship. Mostly, it's either habit or the Apple ecosystem. I switched to Samsung in 2018 after 7 years with an iPhone. I would never go back
I use both iphone & android. The reason why I can't fully switch is the fact that I can't send/receive videos thru text messages without losing quality. My family shares A LOT of videos thru text.
also the performance over time decrease so much more on Android, the apps are not optimized. The camera isn't on par with iphones and the overall reliability in time isn't there.
@@lalabebz56the video quality sucks beacsue of apple. They wont allow transfer of media from android to iphone to be equal. This is one of the only reasons ive considered changing to a iphone, but that seems so ridiculous to change just for that when everything else is better on Android (to me)
I'm an android user myself ❤❤why would you wanna blow your money on something that does the same thing your current phone does that and the fact that apple purposely shuts down older models just to force you to upgrade I'm sticking with the pixel line up and Samsung thank you ❤❤
About the back gesture: it doesn't even work like that always on the iPhone. Sometimes it's a right gesture from the left side, sometimes it's up gesture from the bottom (eg.photos app when seeing a photo) and sometimes neither, you have to use the physical back arrow button on the top left corner, which is the furthest point to a right handed person (most).
I had the S24 ultra and returned it due to fingerprint sensor issues. I replaced it with an iPhone 15 pro max and honestly I'm thinking really serious about switching back. The camera on the 24 Ultra was just far superior to the iPhone 15 Pro Max. The camera on the 24 Ultra also reduced a function for me by allowing me to watermark the date and my name on the photos natively. I can do this on the iPhone, but it requires a 3rd party app. I did have a screen protector on the 24 Ultra and I'm wondering how much that affected the functionality of the fingerprint sensor.
Depending on which screen protector, another 2 things you should do if you go back is to register the same fingerprint twice, and increase the touch sensitivity on the screen in settings, also the negative of using a screen protector on the S24U is that it will lose the anti reflection properties of the display
Yeah don't buy a cheap screen protector. I had that same problem with my s24U. Then I bought a torras diamond sheid tempered glass screen protector and the FP scanner works as if there isn't a screen protector on there. Just remember to register FP after the screen protector is installed.
Me, I'm still using my Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra and I've always preferred Samsung over Apple because for me, Android seems to be more easier and more convenient to use than iOS. Also my S21 Ultra has more RAM than even the top tier iPhone 15 Pro Max with my S21 Ultra having 16 GB of RAM compared to only 8 GB of RAM on the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
Great video! I’m switching from IPhone to Samsung this weekend. Watching video after video about the Galaxy Samsung S24, sounds like you get wayyyy more features! Every time they launch a “new” iPhone, nothing changes. 🤷♀️
Sis. I feel you with the notification management, back gesture & MOSTLY the keyboard. Like, I speak 3 languages DAILY and Apple‘s stock keyboard can‘t even handle me switching midways from English to German??? What‘s the all that AI advancements for if the smartest most powerful pocket computing devices on the planet can‘t handle my basic use?! I use iPad btw. It‘s horrible & so dumb.
Well, dear german neighbour, you now have one more french subscriber, that's probably the most interesting video I found on the topic, and I did watch a ton of them.
you aint right about the notifications. apple has a specific setting which you disable in order to control only the system volume with the buttons and control center, while having a fixed volume for notifications and calls. you can find these in the settings for me it works as expected.
I've never owned an iPhone and most likely never will. 1. No torrenting 2. No fast charging 3. No apps lock I use and need these 3 features on a daily basis.
4. No system wide back gesture 5. Cant long press to select multiple items 6. No camera roll album or downloads album Can name 20 other initiating things that make zero sense.
I use both s24 ultra and iPhone 16 pro max and honestly true on what your saying but on iPhone there’s work around for all that stuff and if your in the ecosystem everything Just syncs up but then again I use my iPhone for personal and my Samsung for business/work so 🤷🏽♂️
Quite possibly the most simple and straightforward point I've ever seen in an iOS to Android explanation. New subscriber here, great content. Danke schon.
I loved your video, I currently use an iphone14 pro and a samsung galaxy s22 ultra. The iPhone lacks many features that I often use on Android. I'll probably stick with android, although I'm still using a Macbook. Thank you for your kind opinion!
I switched to iPhone 13Max 2 years ago. All of your points here are so true. I’m still frustrated by the iOS notification system and the lack of separation for volumes. I’m considering switching back to an android phone, but I still love the smooth integration with my macbook pro because I don’t like windows OS.
I agree with all of her points on this first viewing. I'll return after getting some sleep. I was an Android user for years who switched to iOS roughly 5 years ago.
I own and use the Google Pixel 8 pro and iPhone 13 pro max. I got my pixel 1st and used that for at least 3 or more months 1st and then my GF gave me her 13 pro max later. I have been more of an android user for several years. When I got onto the iPhone I immediately noticed the difference! That promotion screen is so AWESOME! SMOOTH like butter! 😅 The largest difference I noticed is the customization of Android! OMG I didn't realize how much I was being spoiled with that until I got onto iOS! iOS also lacks a copy and paste clipboard like Android! Google Pixel 8 pro clipboard is so awesome and I love it! iPhone keyboard is TRASH! So I even use Google keyboard on my iPhone lol. Yes, that is possible and I was so surprised when I saw that in a UA-cam video so I switched to that asap! In the end, I love both iPhone and my Google Pixel 8 pro. Last night before going to bed I realized that my iPhone 13 pro max feels like it's a physically better quality than my Google Pixel 8 pro. The pixel 8 feels cheaper than my iPhone 13 pro max. Hmm..
Great job on the video! And yes, I like that you went into detail and some actually really useful important tips that a lot of people don't even know. You can actually use on Android and makes life so much easier. I personally use all of these features that you just mentioned on my Samsung device and even some of them on my pixel
Thanks for this great video I have been an android user for 15 years, my friends convinced me to switch to iPhone so I bought a 15 pro max, I've had it a week and can't find a single reason what makes iPhone better and all the hype, I'm going to return them phone and get the Samsung S24 ultra This video clarified and confirmed all the reasons I should remain with android
In addition, on gBoard... If you swipe along the spacebar, you can scroll the cursor letter by letter if you need to make a quick edit to your word and if you swipe the backspace key. you can delete a word or all the words youve typed already!
I’m sorry, I’m not trying to fight you or sound condescending but iPhone has Trackpad Mode, idk about the newer models tho, I use an older model iPhone
The Samsung keyboard has that feature where you can swipe along the spacebar to move the cursor, but it's waaaay too sensitive, IMO. I have a Pixel as my personal phone and my work phone is a Samsung that's very locked down. I really struggle with the Samsung keyboard after using gboard for 5+ years to the point where I just wait until I'm at my computer again to reply to messages or emails on my work phone.
Omg the fold 4 also replaced my iPhone too for the first time. That was my first transition as well. Now I have a pixel 9 pro fold and I freaking love it. I haven't used an iPhone in almost 2 years. This was so relatable❤
I bought the Iphone 13 Pro in 2021..... because I wanted the Iphone Experience as I had been a lifelong Android User. The amount of headaches this phone has given me is wild. I have a macbook pro and that's the only reason I still have to use this, unwillingly. I would switch back again to another device sometime in the future and never look back!
As someone who just switched back to iPhone after many years of using an Android, I agree with all of these points. I'm considering returning it and just using my S23 again because so many things have felt like such a downgrade. I'm used to having so many options, and to be limited like this is driving me nuts. I love the Face ID though. That part is really cool. Also, whenever I'm watching something on UA-cam, when I switch apps and then go back to UA-cam, it's stutters for a quick moment. I thought maybe it was just the 13 I bought, but when I switched to the 15, it had the same issue. I wonder if others have had this issue.

everything you listed as far as file system and features were just introduced and samsung was the only android with copy clipboard , been using android since 2.1 and ios since ios 4 they’ve both evolved but ios is more simplistic , it’s so many “ versions “ of android most features are embedded and hard to find , but when people talk android ios they are always and almost always referring to samsung and ios , not motorola , LG - r.i.p , Oppo etc

I’ve used Android for 4 years before switching to iPhones for the past 10 years. My last purchase is a 1600€ 14 Pro which I’m increasingly disappointed about, been using my backup phone more and more (a 200€ 2020 Xiaomi). My question to fellow Android users is, how is your after sales/repair experience with major Android brands these days? It’s the one thing I want to make sure about before switching back.
I’m currently using all the Apple product all around, and I agree with everything u said, this is a decent comparison from a real life android user, unlike other UA-camrs just focusing on the superficial points.
I wanted a new small phone, so waited for the small s24. But two things holding me back, exynos and slow charging. So my question is, are there any 6-6,2 inch flagship androids with Snapdragon and fast charging? Like 60+ watt?
Xiaomi 14 is there for you. Others are available too. I'd advise you go ahead with the S24. That 25 watts charging is still fast. And it has the best battery among entry level flagships, even beating the battery in iPhone 15 by a mile.
Those are the exact reasons why I have never switched to iPhone. GREAT JOB. Every time I use my wife's iPhone, the keyboard and the camara pause feature are what I miss the most from android.
I haven't had an iPhone since the 4S, but that changed when I got the 12 Pro Max. After that, I upgraded to the 13 Pro Max and then the 14 Pro Max. Now I have the 15 Pro Max. Before, I was on Team Samsung.
For me & I never thought I would but I like ios better overall I've come to realize for a few little key touches that make a difference to me, in ios messaging when you get a text containing a tracking number & other stuff you can tap on it from the text and ios recognizes it's a tracking and will pop up from the text area saying track package! Android doesn't do that, imessage has won me over to overall, also another thing in ios that android doesn't do currently is the UA-cam pip feature, on ios if you slide the running video your watching all the way over to the side of the screen out of sight you can still listen to it playing! on android you can only make it really small and drag it around but if you tuck it out of the way it stops playing, & also Siri is better especially in case needed in an emergency because the screen can be locked off and even if you just say siri help it will dial 911, Android only few devices do that now even when you have the assistant set to work on the lock screen, Its odd some phones will call others but not emergency services which is odd to me, I also like the overall search feature built into ios better when looking for an app or whatever, It to me is just a cleaner overall easier experience, ya ios can be a bit boring at times but ios 18 is supposed to change some of that, So their are pros and cons to both, I do wish ios had a back button for example, but what I have never understood is how some people get downright angry arguing back and forth which is better lol, Just use what makes you happy and fits your life..
You forgot to mention that in each iteration apple will be adding these simple, old features selling them as State-of-the-art, you only need to pay 1.299 ;) thank you apple you are truly amazing. And people keep buying that.
I do not buy an iPhone because my Android, 230 euro, phone can do everything the iPhone does and more for 1/4 the price. And it is more reliable and sturdy.

What I’ve realised after switching from android to iPhone after buying my 15 Pro Max, is that on android, you change the phone to adapt it into your life. Where with iPhones you change the way you use your phone to use it how Apple intends you to, I really don’t like that, I would like more options on iOS!
Exactly, no freedom for customization on iPhone!
But if you could have that, poor apple wouldn't make their hundreds of billions
Lol
Well you didn't buy an iPhone for it's promising features, you bought it for its brand name.

IPhones are for people who have very basic computing tastes, or people who simply always hated using computers. Everything on iOS is backwards for people who loved computers before smartphones.

I'd add the lack of a fingerprint reader. Face ID is great, but I just want to be able to unlock my phone when it's sitting on my desk.

why use face id when face unlock via camera is as fast and fibger print scanner even faster
I find with my work iPhone that face ID often doesn't work. It doesn't recognize me and I've reset it many times. I like the in screen fingerprint scanner in my android so much better.
I could never understand why iPhone users have always said how simple they are, while in reality it is a nightmare compared to android.
It is NOT complex. Our navigation is very simple. The settings app is easy to use. I have seen android’s settings, and it’s messy
If you struggle using iphone you must be on the spectrum
Ofcourse its easy to use when u simply just obey what they command and have no wish to change anything like that fkn keyboard
@@jeevanand88 yes, I understand our keyboard sucks, but we didn’t fake our photos
That’s actually rude to say. Also untrue
Well, maybe it’s easier for them 🤷♂️ instead of jumping to lying…

No you don't...

That hurts a bit. Apple is so disgusting with trying to pull you into their system with this@@lalabebz56

I just bought my iPhone 15 yesterday. Have been using the iPhone since 2010 for the amazing camera. Not kidding.
Your valid key points is as the same of my brief explanation to my iPhone friends as why i wouldn't be switching to an iPhone EVER! Great vid!
That's true, the back gesture is on top inconsistent 👍 I should have mentioned that
If it came from the bottom, it gets swiped back to the bottom. Generally how it works
Let me know when you switched back 😄🫶
Depending on which screen protector, another 2 things you should do if you go back is to register the same fingerprint twice, and increase the touch sensitivity on the screen in settings, also the negative of using a screen protector on the S24U is that it will lose the anti reflection properties of the display
Yeah don't buy a cheap screen protector. I had that same problem with my s24U. Then I bought a torras diamond sheid tempered glass screen protector and the FP scanner works as if there isn't a screen protector on there. Just remember to register FP after the screen protector is installed.
Register the same fingerprint more than once, that should resolve the problem.
You can increase touch sensitivity on Samsung devices before applying screen protector. Then just rescan your fingerprints.

Hmm..

This video clarified and confirmed all the reasons I should remain with android
In addition, on gBoard...
If you swipe along the spacebar, you can scroll the cursor letter by letter if you need to make a quick edit to your word
and if you swipe the backspace key. you can delete a word or all the words youve typed already!
OMG THANK YOU i didn't know gboard could do that until now, it's great
Great video. My gripe with iOS is it doesn't have a universal back gesture and split screen.
For me there's two reasons. 1) Apple's unethical and anti-consumer business practices and, 2) their phones just kinda suck.
Yes, also a good point with the anti consumer business practices 🫶
Just come across your channel. Great content and good to see more positive Android content 😊
All Basic Android features i like:
1️⃣ Navigation Gestures from Left to Right and from Right to Left
2️⃣ Multitasking with Split View and floating Windows
3️⃣ Moving icons on my home screen wherever i want, top, bottom, left, right with empty space or not.
4️⃣ Easy Link to Windows 💻
5️⃣ Pro Camera Mode without buying an app
6️⃣ Keyboard with numbers row key on top
7️⃣ Using 2 instances of the same app with 2 different account : Pro and Personal thanks to Cloned apps
8️⃣ File management system: massively better on Android, easy to handle.
9️⃣ Android clipboard
Multi-tasking: i can use Split View like i do on a Windows 💻 with touch Windows➕⬅️ and Windows➕➡️
Perfect 👌 I could have used this as my script 😄 totally agree with every single point
@@thegermantechgirl 😅 feel free to use it. I daily use a 13 Pro and a Nothing Phone(1).
My 13 Pro works well, no issues at all but honestly, outside of cameras ( flagship cameras on 13 Pro) on daily use, i enjoy more NP1: things are just more practical, direct, simple.
Good video by the way👏🏿👏🏿
everything you listed as far as file system and features were just introduced and samsung was the only android with copy clipboard , been using android since 2.1 and ios since ios 4 they’ve both evolved but ios is more simplistic , it’s so many “ versions “ of android most features are embedded and hard to find , but when people talk android ios they are always and almost always referring to samsung and ios , not motorola , LG - r.i.p , Oppo etc
i own both S24U (personal phone) and 15PM (work phone given by my company). i'm running 10gbps internet connection at home so i tested both connection speed and the results are night and day : 15pm 70-80mbps , S24U 1.3-1.5gbps. To confirm even further i use both my nephews 15PM and the results are the same. Even on cellular connection i get better bars reception on the S24U compared to the 15PM. Very weird..
And it has the best battery among entry level flagships, even beating the battery in iPhone 15 by a mile.
much consicessly explained and good editing:)
Good video 👍 starting to make me think about my next upgrade lol good points tho I can say
You covered almost all the relevant areas related to both OS (especially in users perspective). Great video. 😊
For me & I never thought I would but I like ios better overall I've come to realize for a few little key touches that make a difference to me, in ios messaging when you get a text containing a tracking number & other stuff you can tap on it from the text and ios recognizes it's a tracking and will pop up from the text area saying track package! Android doesn't do that, imessage has won me over to overall, also another thing in ios that android doesn't do currently is the UA-cam pip feature, on ios if you slide the running video your watching all the way over to the side of the screen out of sight you can still listen to it playing! on android you can only make it really small and drag it around but if you tuck it out of the way it stops playing, & also Siri is better especially in case needed in an emergency because the screen can be locked off and even if you just say siri help it will dial 911, Android only few devices do that now even when you have the assistant set to work on the lock screen, Its odd some phones will call others but not emergency services which is odd to me, I also like the overall search feature built into ios better when looking for an app or whatever, It to me is just a cleaner overall easier experience, ya ios can be a bit boring at times but ios 18 is supposed to change some of that, So their are pros and cons to both, I do wish ios had a back button for example, but what I have never understood is how some people get downright angry arguing back and forth which is better lol, Just use what makes you happy and fits your life..
great content maam... love it. to the point and very informative. i have the s24 plus model. and im loving it. ive been an android user since 2010..
The S24 + is a great choice 👌
I agree with you. After 5 years of iPhone I switched to Samsung Galaxy 4 years ago and I don't regret it. Your considerations are totally right.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and experiences- very helpful 😊
First time here and I just suscribe! 😃 just like your personality and how everything was explained and organized. Good job 👏 😊
This is a great and detailed video.Nice!
Totally agree. Finally I’m hearing another person covering all the points I’ve been harping about to my friends.
The keyboard is certainly the worst part of the iPhone.
The unintuitive settings are in second place.
You forgot to mention that in each iteration apple will be adding these simple, old features selling them as State-of-the-art, you only need to pay 1.299 ;) thank you apple you are truly amazing. And people keep buying that.
I had an iPad about 10 years ago, and that was enough.. I really didn't like Apples software and ecosystem.
🫶
I do not buy an iPhone because my Android, 230 euro, phone can do everything the iPhone does and more for 1/4 the price. And it is more reliable and sturdy.
Which phone ?
@@brianmorrison9168 Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro
@@70mavgr Thanks. My wife has just boughta new phone (iphone15) but I've always been Android. My current phone (Nokia7+) is OK, but I think I fancy a new one now .. thinking about the Pixel 8 or maybe even the 9. Don't know why, never considered a Xiaomi phone before. Had a Sony before my current phone, which lasted 4 years
Great video, I have an iphone 12 for work which I've had for some time and a new Samsung S24 and a Google Pixel 6 I've had for years, I don't find iphones I've had over the years as intuitive to use as Android phones and as you say it's so much easier to change what you want to change on an android phone
the camera settings not being in the app on the iPhone was a complain even 10 years ago. can't believe this company is so stubborn...
Samsung s24 Ultra is a beast ton of features apple users are missing. apple is like north korea full of restrictions.
🙃
There crap phones only I phones
I switched from Android to IOS last year, and I can confirm that I don’t regret it
Great video❤
I agree. The macro with the latest iPhone is a big issue for me. I really dislike the camera on the latest phones this year.
Same 👍
One of the best comparisons I have seen! Thank You!
I agree to every thing that you said! I, too, daily drive a macbook pro and my personal sim card is in a Samsung Galaxy S10e! I really don't miss out since apps like Snapdrop/Pairdrop exist!
Great video! :D
Does Snapdrop work? Actually searching for an Airdrop alternative for my macbook/android smartphones
@@thegermantechgirl yes it works seamlessly and across all platforms. Anything with a web browser, actually, since you don't even need the app.
@@thegermantechgirl I hope this comment gets to you this time. Because I am just finding out now that my reply did not publish or at least it's not visible. :/
Anyway, yes! Snapdrop/Pairdrop works like wonders!!! I still use it to this day! :D
very common sense approach! thanks . some things people must consider if want to switch from one to the other. other UA-camrs don't even mention. thanks
