I gave my daughter an s23ultra and now I'm really thinking about replacing my 15pro max with an s24ultra😮
Please get the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra
No get fold 6
I want the fold ultra 😊
Do it! There is no better decission.
@ryann58 Have my s24 plus since launch ❤️ it. Fantastic phone the longer I have it the more difficult it feels to want to upgrade any time soon. 7 years is a long time.
🍎 I am not downloading iOS 18 until the release candidate I am not going to enjoy the AI features coming because I am on an older iPhone. While it is great that Apple added more customization options which does refresh iOS a lot, i won’t do much with it outside of possibly turning on the dark mode. On the app icons. What I do like is that RCS is now available. Good for me to text higher quality media to friends using Android that is using iOS. Speaking g of RCS I just had to help a friend turn on RCS on his S24 ultra so he can send better text messages.
As for split screen multitasking there should be a poll as to how many people actually use it or know it’s an available feature on Android. I also have an older Pixel. I have only used split screen multitasking. But I get that you do use it and therefore having it offers more choice.
Why a survey? Even if not everyone would use it on a daily basis, sometimes it can save people. It's simply better to have something than not to have it. I often take notes from movies on my phone and for me it's a game changer.
I'm switching for the first time with the new iPhone 16 pro max. Hopefully, I won't be disappointed. I'm only switching for one reason, so much better with apps. Android apps sucks and there are too many glitches.
What phone you got currently?

I suspect many iPhone users won't even bother with the new customization options. As customization isn't the main reason people are buying iPhones.
Well said.
You mean Android Intelligence
Ah yes, the reason is for calling and sending imessages. Technology marvel...
@@B-MARTINEZ22😂💀
Very true
I'm using my 15 pro max on ios 18 beta right now. It's a good start so far. I got it set up like my s24 plus. A lot of android user gonna really like the upgrade
How do you set it up?
@@jermainemouzon4909 I have only 2 apps on my home page and a folder with all the other apps I use everday at the bottom. My action button is set for the camera bc I'm use to the power button for the camera shortcut. I use Gboard for the keyboard. I had to tweak a little more stuff to my liking
Once an iPhone user, you can still enjoy the fun stuff on Android, that’s new and different. But eventually it just gets mundane. That’s when you return to an iPhone. And when doing so, convincing one self that it is because of all the changes made. It’s not!
It make take you a little more time to realize, but we’ll see you soon 😋
Either option is mundane. I'm bored of Samsung. First iPhone in like 10 years will be the 16 pro max for me. Should be awesome. Never was an iPhone hater, just preferred android. Nowadays I don't care about the cool hardware, screens or freedom of android. Just looking for something reliable. ChatGPT integration is the best AI solution possible right now, so iPhone makes sense to me now.
The tiny tweaks that apple has made for iOS 18 will not make me switch back to apple.
Valid
@Juicemaneethe update is stupid

I’m so tired of apple I’m getting out in August I wish I could sooner
@@Roxylove0patience brother . Your almost there
Whatsapp just needs to add that schedule message option and custom emojis since most of the world uses whatsapp anyways. The new features are nice but besides these ones, android users aren't missing out imo.
Yeah... What's a iMessage? We are about that WhatsApp, said 2 Billion plus people globally. I think Apple iis really missing the point here, by refusing to have RCS on their iPhone and even worse, by not having an Android version of iMessage. Because i think that this would be a great way to compete with The Zuckster's WhatsApp and also serve to entice people to their proverbial walled garden of devices and services.
Interestingly, in Poland only millennials use WhatsApp, the rest of the population is immersed in Messenger 😅
Bad keyboard makes me lose interest. If the AI transcribes voice to test better, then It might be okay. Google voice to text is garbled for me, so I rely on the keyboard.
Running iOS18 on my 15ProMax and comparing to my S24Ultra. No comparison, the S24U wins. Will see how things are as future betas roll out.
I've got both too.. Not sure how you say S24 Ultra hands down.... I have the S24 ultra with the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic and the earbuds Pro2 as well as the apple watch ultra with the iPhone 15 Pro Max and the Airpods Pro .... Apple has many things they do better than Samsung. The camera on the iPhone is better in general, the speakers on the phone are better, some app optimization are better on Apple as well (Instagram, Snapchat for example)
The S24 Ultra has the better display tho, and it feels snappier in general. But to say the S24 wins no comparison.... Please LOL
🍎i agree with your "wants"for iOS. I wish my 15PM had the stuff my 24 Ultra and pixel have. But then again, they'd just be Android phones if they had it.
iPhone do not need clear all button as its basically done on purpose. iPhone takes less battery when apps you use the most are open, instead of reopening everything for the whole time. I saw Apple said something about that and biggest tech channels on UA-cam as well.
ios 18 has some good tweaks, but they missed the mark, multitasking is still rubbish. still missing split screen, app pop out, DEX, secure folder, dual apps, dual video and audio playback.
Apple does have a version of secure folder in ios18.🤦🏽♂️
@@Aggie4life77 no ios 18 its just a hidden apps folder, thats really not that hidden. samsung secure folder is completely differnt, is a virtual phone within samsung, completely seperate where you can have seperate accounts, files, pictures, apps, notifications etc and you can set a differnt passcode to the main one, much more powerful!
Go and creat your own iphone, since you don,t like the iphones that is coming out
It has secure folder now. Its called hidden apps
I didn’t use any of those features when I had Android except for the split screen maybe one time. The only thing I wish Apple will implement is universal back button.
I'm good on the Samsung Galaxy side. Idc what "new features" Apple brings to iOS 18, I'm good on the other side.
Likewise, don’t care for Samsungs gimmicks. Just want a phone that lasts with good resale value.
Nice video (as always). Multitasking would be nice. I’ve been asking for this on the iPhone for years.🍎
Maybe on iOS 24
@@MrYoochoobet 😂😂😂😂
Voice transcription is present in the Notes app in iOS 18, isn’t it?
Yes
🍎 honestly, I’m just disappointed that we don’t have split screen multitasking. Especially on pro phones 🤯 iOS 18 is ok so far
Apple do this bull shit all the time they love saying coming soon at least Samsung released their AI with the release of the S24 Ultra 🙈🤦
lol because it’s a beta… the iPhone 16 isn’t even out yet so it’s not comparable…
You more or less summed up my thoughts exactly. My last iPhone was the 7, before switching to Samsung, but I am intrigued by iOS 18, so I picked up the 16 Pro Max and have decided to give the S24 Ultra a little rest, while I put the iPhone & iOS 18 through its paces. Just 1 day in, I had to install Gboard & MS Swift keyboards to protect my sanity, but for the rest, I'll be trying to manage in pure iOS mode. Thanks for the video
Omg lol 😂. It is hilarious how split the world is one was say iPhone is great and the others say the iPhones is amazing but I like my Samsung. lol 😂. Honestly, honestly, I’ve noticed a lot of people will pick samsung because they are more affordable and iPhones in other regions cost a lot. So division of opinions are actually affected by the cost of purchases and the amount of apple products.
iOS 18 feels like they pushed a beta to the release channel. It is so buggy it feels like Android KitKat, ironically that is also where they've caught up to.
Android will always be ahead when it comes to customization. Apple has its own way of doing things, but I will not buy another IPhone.
dark app icons are the sickest look u can get, c mon
To me, I really hesitate to move from Samsung to IOS
I became an Android user back in the Galaxy SIII days, when I got bored of iOS 6 and the iPhone (after owning an iPhone original, an iPhone 3G, an iPhone 4 and an iPhone 4S)
I gave the iPhone another shot 2 years ago, and I absolutely hated my experience: It felt so limited and restricted, in so many ways. The famous "Apple Golden Jail" expression we hear from time to time is real...
These days I'm rocking a Galaxy S24 Ultra and I love that phone and the user experience. I'm big Tasker user (to automate almost everything and add advanced features/functions), and that's something I could only dream of on iOS
😂"Apple Golden Jail", you mean the the "Apple Garden" /"Apple's Walled garden"
@@tracyphoenixx Nope, it's a jail.
Now you're being jailed but with their version of Android 😂
@@Anamae5451 AOSP is open source. Using Google apps isn't even needed if you don't want too.
The Shortcuts app on iPhone is the single most under rated iPhone feature. You can automate a ton. Most iOS users have no idea of its capabilities. I use both Android and iOS. After the release of iOS 18, split screen multitasking may be the last advantage Android has for my day to day usage
I bought the 15 pro max and even though with those upcoming features it’ll be more similar to android it still bothers me the notification management, the keyboard and the fact that you don’t have a camera folder and are able to move photos from one album to another entirely (and they’ll make it worse with the new redesign). There might be less reasons not to switch but still those tiny ones are a headache. Also the "remove all” option you mentioned is because apple claims you should only close an app if it’s not behaving correctly because apparently if you close apps just because it actually hurts the battery so you should let them open all the time unlike in android and there are multiple articles and videos about this
I swear at this point the iOS keyboard is sadism on Apple's part. There must be a secret iOS keyboard Apple employees use.
@@michael.barlowMe.trying.to.search.anything.on.ios
bro we all know when samsung s25 comes out. you gonna do a video on why you switched to Samsung again. LOLOL. So predictable.
Mmmm still not enough to switch over to iPhone, they got the basics down they still need split screen, the ability to multitask on the s24 ultra and fold is insane 🤯
iPhone is getting there but just not there yet, 24 ultra still ahead of the game.
iOS could be the winner if Apple would allow real side loading and independent app installs. But their response to the EU legislation is a huge slap in the face to power users, developers, and enthusiasts.
Samsung specializes as a tiny computer, iphone specializes as a tiny camera.
In Bulgaria 15 pro max 512 gb is 1730 euro while 24 ultra 512 gb is 1230 euro , 500 euro more for same or even worst phone with slightly better camera for videos. Good luck apple

Why does he want iphone to work for him? very confusing 😎
Nice review and perspective. Still a long way to go but how do they expand their customizations and currently miss; split screen, numbers row on the keyboard? Good effort Apple... hopefully the customizations expand by the time of its official release.
There are some ios apps I miss including Moneywiz and iCloud Photo Library but I love the split screen, S Pen, number row on keyboard, close all apps etc too much to consider switching back. Also the ease at getting videos, music and photos onto the S24 Ultra using a USB stick is great. Spreadsheet and file shortcuts on homescreen is so good too.
Split screen is a gimmick imo, takes too long to set up
Spen is nice very rarely, that’s why I save my signature on my iPhone so I don’t need a pen or get a 25$ one from Amazon
Gboard has a number row on the iPhone keyboard
And the close all tabs button is the only thing I’d consider really useful but still, iPhones ram management is miles better
Split screen doesn't need setting up. 2 finger swipe from bottom of screen and the screen is split
@@dgreensuperhoops right but even then you still have to choose an app to use on a small area of 3.4 inches
Not practical, apples multitasking is automatic and in the Dynamic Island
Don't forget Dex which Apple has no answer for. Many fanboys who left Apple love it. The only complaint most have is Samsung doesn't feature it as they believe they should.
@Anamae5451 Got to say Dex is probably the only feature I have no use for. I tried it once but couldn't see the point in it. Everything else on the S24 is just brilliant compared to the boring iphone
Do you prefer dark mode on your iPhone.
Why do android users get mad? lol it’s like you guys get wayy too offended when your fav UA-camr steps away and tries an iPhone. I’ve seen the hate comments on all the iOS 18 videos. What’s funny though is if you go to and Samsung 24 or any android video you won’t see iPhone users in there being salty. Also, I like Samsung and think they are awesome but I have an iPhone 15 PM 😂
Samsung is great, has great stuff, but Apple is my choice for a myriad of reasons, the LEAST of which is their new great updates. It’s their privacy and security which no other platform can match that I love
@@geoshock1 same here. No way I’m going to get a phone made from google. They don’t even make money from selling pixels. Let that sink in. And I wish I could afford to also rock a Samsung but I like what I like.
Fine. But when the S25 Ultra will be unveiled, you'll jump again to the Android train again.
Be consistent.

I noticed many of those features like screen projection , power button on screen, secure apps and folders and customization I noticed I have had on one ui for years. But apple did well with the satellite emergency and text , crash detection, AI personal voice, math notes , and Apple Intelligence Siri . The truth is both Android and Apple copy each other but for me android is too fun to use and I haven't had ios as my main phone for many years and I don't plan on going back
Sounds like open source something Elon musk is warning and banning Apple phones in his company
Trash software, good video.
I myself am a Galaxy S23 Plus user in lavender.
Bixby and notification categories are two of the big reasons why I stay with Samsung.
Bixby, really?? She useless
The last time Google Assistant was integrated into a phone, that was from LG, and we all know what happened to them in the mobile department. And by the way, Bixby and the quote of the day, that beats Google out of the water. Yes, I consider that to be a good thing.

IA in iphone not exist
Americans buy iPhones for iMessage. Internationally, people buy iPhones as a status symbol.
Those 'new' features won't sway anyone to shift from their preferred OS. Most iPhone users are just not tech savvy.
Says you…
It's also a status symbol in America too. Alot of them think they're better just for having one.
@@tenoclock-hc9jd I thought it was different since they're cheaper that side
@@geoshock1He speaks truth. Apple fanboy told me I had to do research because the screen was the only Samsung hardware on iPhones. Memory, chip, batteries... So yeah they don't know nothing 😂
As an Apple “fanboy” I didn’t get my first iPhone due to peer pressure or status symbol or feeling better about myself or for any other reason than the fact that it just worked better for me.
And before that I was an Android “fanboy.”’
If anyone gets an Apple to feel better about themselves I would suggest they seek therapy, and as far as comparing features, if you like Android better, more power to ya. I’m glad you like it. Doesn’t make me feel any worse or better for choosing Apple. Most of this Android “is better” stuff is just childish silly bickering anyway. I don’t need to knock Android to feel better about myself and neither should anyone else…
The day that Apple brings separate audio similar to what the Galaxy phones have to iPads, particularly, is when I may pick up another Apple device. I will never go back to an iPhone. Happy with my Galaxy S23 Plus. And also, even if I did get an iPad again in the future, it is only for applications I'd use that are Apple-specific. Ferrite recording studio, being one of those.

I had Samsungs since I started using smartphones with a Galaxy S +. Then we get iPhones at work. After a while, I don’t know what it was, but i wanted to change/ switch to iOS. That was in 2020, last year I get a Pixel 7 as a gift. I tried it for a month, then i reactivated my older iPhone again and switched back. The switch to iOS is easier to me than switching back/ using Android again. And I don't give a damn about any optical adjustments or pride flag wallpaper, gender emojis or other crap.
Honestly the only thing holding me back from trying iphone is lack of sideloading (not just for EU)
What holds me back is the shadyness of Apple and the Apple fanboys who know nothing of technology and keep regurgitating the same stuff from 15 years ago. The ecosystem, the smoothness, the build quality, blah blah blah. Hasn't changed and it ain't even true smh
@@Anamae5451 I've got both and prefer the iPhone. Apps are better, the ecosystem is better even if you don't want to believe it, and the build quality is great (Samsung is too, at least their flagships are). The iPhone is the phone to get if you need to get things done with your phone. Android is the OS to get if you want to play with your phone in between getting useful work done. I just need a tool that doesn't need a lot of fiddling and gets out of the way. The iPhone does that.
Gooe viseo but it iOS still seems so far behind even in some basics.
The big AI thing seems like a lot of stuff people are already doing.
The Media beat up on Apple is just weird for stuff that's already reality on other products 🤷♂️
TBH, I think 90% of the complaints of texting the "green bubble people" is the low quality media, and bad group chats. RCS fixes both of those. I know my circle of friends couldn't care less about the other iMessage features like sticker reactions, cute animations and the like.
I could be wrong, but I hope I'm not. I hope the RCS integration removes the majority of the friction with iOS users texting us Android users
If you like to customize and have Complete control of your phone , go Android! Its great. If you just want a phone to browse social media and browsing go iPhone. Thats it. They both do the same thing. In Asian and UK nobody cares what phone you have
Why doesnt anyone talk about the screen dimming on s24ultra i bought n returned 5 s24ultras and the phone is so buggy the like button disappears on facebook when watch an instagram reel. I went baxk to my s22ultra. The screen is brighter n colors are brighter. May try apple 16 pro max or might wait for s25ultra but the s24ultra is a unfinished phone its crap i wanted to love it so bad. Thats why i ordered 5 times but ever one did the same thing. Plus the camera when ur zooming in switching between lenses is not smooth. I cant explain it but the phone was not for me
I have a pixel 7pro, i really like it but my next one will be an iPhone. I like Gemini but it can be installed on the iPhone. But i know that the keyboard, notifications and music Player suck
Can you please share your iPhone wallpaper?
Bro get a life
@@TheJohnnyx1 Bro's just asking a question, why u say that?
The main reason for these videos is because there are alot of people out there that still struggle to make the decision of which way to go. Also if you want to talk about bloatware, garage band, apple email and calendar, notes, apple tv, reminders and now on ios 18 a passwords app. All phone manufacturers do it.
I would prefer an android phone but until they make a mini like iphone, I won't bother.
🍎
Iphones is just that, simple phone for the majority. Out of all my family even my parents so used to ios, aint changing anytime soon, except for me android n ios user here.
iPhone was better without that update but whatever, I guess I will take better AI alongside with superior camera and sofwtare.
I know people speak about split screen a lot, but something I use so much more is pop-up view, like I use it for everything. I don't even know if I'd survive with a phone that doesn't have it.
I use galaxy themes so much, one of my most favourite things. I never get bored of my phone.
Turning dark mode on my whole phone is something I always use. It's so friendly on the eyes for everything. I don't have to always go and change the settings on everything
It's just the opposite for me. I take a lot of notes in split screen mode and giving up on it would be very problematic...
Literally, the only two things for me to switch from Samsung to an iPhone are transcribing in the voice recorder app and proper multitasking.

I've been watching your videos as part of my research to help me determine which phone is the best fit for my needs, and if I should switch to Apple for the first time as that is what my husband uses. I just can't find a reason to switch from my Android phones. I'm still using my Galaxy Note 20 5G, and while I still think it's fine, the camera and storage (among other things like Bixby that drives me crazy, probs just a me thing) just no longer meet my needs. I'm seriously looking at the Galaxy S24 Ultra. I have a few concerns though that I'm hoping I could get some feedback on. One is the shortening of battery life people have experienced as soon as a few months after owning the phone. 2nd is the dreaded blurry screen which would be disastrous to me as I am always using my phone for photography in tons of varying situations.
Lastly is the price. It's a huge investment which I am willing to do, but only if it's truly worth it. Any input would be greatly appreciated! 🍎
Hey im using S24U, i bought it on release. Absolutely outstanding phone, unsuprisingly it will meet all your needs generally.
You made a point about storage, just FYI, Samsung is always better value as they charge much less for additional storage (and RAM) on their devices.
Battery life started off outstanding but i can tell its not as great. However, it is still extremely good.
No blurry screen. If you get one, return it.
Price wise, its a good deal. Samsung phones drop in value for other reasons, so its best to buy them later on. Youre still getting top notch quality and hardware.
Android is still miles ahead… Can’t wait to grab the S24 Ultra in a few weeks.
