She says in another video that she doesn't do any refreshing and finds that sleeping with a scarf works good enough for her, she's just a little careful with the curl clumps
Thank you! I have never been able to wear my hair natural because of frizz and uneven waves/curls. I have been using your methods for about a month. I recently had my hair cut in the style you described. Long layers. I love my hair now. Everyone is blown away with all the waves/curls. I have been asked multiple times if I have had it premed 😂😂. No way 😮
Sophie *thank you* for this video. I was diffusing my hair very wrong and I was so frustrated, my hair looked awful after. I was considering just giving up wavy hair and treating my hair straight. I just did what you said and my hair is even on the curlier side and very bouncy 🙏🙏🙏
Hi just wanted to leave a comment about how grateful i am for your content. I’ve just discovered that my hair is not straight at all! I just bought all the products needed to go down the curly hair route and am really excited for the much needed change. Thank you!
I have hair similar to yours... what do you find creates and holds your waves/curls best, gel or mousse or foam? And I believe you've mentioned using both gel and a mousse/foam in one wash... do you recommend that more than just using one?
Hey Sophie! I love your videos. I’ve never been one to follow a routine from a UA-camr but yours are very helpful! I know in a previous short you posted you show how you wrap you hair in a towel to form a cast. How long should I do that for? I tried the method in this video but my hair was still frizzy. Do you only apply mousse?
Your hair is stunning! I saw in another vid that you color your hair. I’d be so grateful if you could share what formula/brand you use. Thx!! Good luck on pursuing your doctorate!,
I'm just starting out. Surprise, I don't have straight hair anymore like I did when I was younger. I'm struggling and taking a half hour or so just for drying, after the styling time, sounds daunting. I've always been a wash& go girl but it's a big frizzy mess as of late, now that my texture has changed from straight to wavy.
I'm still just learning about all the steps and products, and will try diffusing like this next! Thanks for such a clear and helpful vid. 💕 Also- where did you get your dressing gown? It's so pretty!
Can anyone help, i tried this along with your bowl technique, my ends were lovely and wavy, but my roots were all sticking up at odd angles, any ideas what i did wrong?
Hi I've been following your routine and tried it out today, my hair has never looked curlier but it's still frizzy as hell! Any tips? Would it be the products I'm using or do I need to try a mousse (used cream and jelly but not mousse) or a different diffuser? Or Is my hair always destined to be frizzy?! Thanks for all the tips and tricks
Sorry if I’m too late- but what if you have bangs/fringe? And do you know of any hair dryers that would be quicker to dry? Odd question- I know, I just have head/neck issues so trying to dry my hair in the first place is frustrating!
I got a Conair diffuser a few weeks ago and I thought that the rods/stick things inside were too tall (they're taller than the bowl), causing my hair to fall out while pixie diffusing. But now I'm thinking, after seeing the Conair one you showed, that my hair is just way too short for diffusing. 😅 My length is above my shoulders.
Ah-yes for shorter hair a shallower bowl is better! The shark attachment is really cool because the prong length is actually adjustable to make it work for your specific hair length, but there are also other shallower bowls out there too!
It's usually when you dip your hair into a bowl of water and scrunch your conditioner into it intermittently. The mechanical motion and reusing of the product that is leftover in the water is supposed to increase wave definition. On the bright side, it definitely made my waves more defined, but the tangles. Oh god. It was not worth it lol. Although here the bowl method she is referring to may be a diffusing method with the same name.
I just did your bowl method and I look like a rat that went through a shredder I dont think I did flipping right bc my hair is shorter too Please help❤
Oh noo!!! At what point did it seem like things were not working out? Mainly, did the big wave clumps form properly when doing the bowl method, and if so, when did they start to separate?
@@SophieMarieGraf yes the big waves did form when I had my head upside down, but when I started flipping the head back they would not break and would stay in a big clump, like if I had a hat. Should my hair been completely dry? Before even attempting that? Please help me figure out my hair❤ I think it's very simular to yours but it's shorter (from top of my head to ends 16") I was a tomboy with shaved haircut for years and I've been growing my hair for few years now. Turned out my hair is a bit wavy and I don't want to damage it with heat and embrace what I have instead. But I either look like a wet icecle or Hermione Granger. Can it also be a haircut issue?
Can you do a video on how you refresh your wavy hair on days 2 and 3 etc?
This pls!!
Yes please
Yes..my curls flatten out and frizz even with a silk wrap

Yeahhhh plss

I love how she just posted everything we need and we haven’t seen her since lol. Like she just dipped😭
May sound silly, But how do you know when your cast is forming? Sometimes I am not sure but maybe I’m not using enough product
Thank you! Do you already have a video about your styling process before drying? Would love to see that!
Do you have a video in regards to the products you use? Like the microfiber towel you use, gel, etc!?!? Would love to know what you use.
Your hair is so pretty!! ❤
I just order the shark blowdryer. I can't wait to try it!!! Thank you for all your videos.
Yay!! I hope you like it as much as I do :)

Can you do a video on how you decorated your new place and where you decided to put your bed?
Can you do a tutorial for refreshing wavy hair? Mine looks terrible on the 2nd and 3rd day:(

I have this hair dryer. Thanka for this.
Hello. Can you tell me your hair type? Mine is type 2a/b. Thanks!

What products you used prior to using diffuser?

@@SophieMarieGraf Ah that makes sense! Thank you so much for responding! 😊
What's your hair color in this video? I really like it❤️
I'm pretty sure this is her natural hair color.
I needed to hear this!
Yay! 🫶
Do we have to have it diffused? I’m not sure if I can afford that
i aspire for my hair to look like yours
Thanks for sharing the content🎉
What if you do brush styling? do you have to hover again to diffuse the hair?
Is it okay if i dont have a mousse or cream?😢 only hair oil.. hope anyone will reply❤
Thank you 😁
Amazing 🤭
I tried to use your code on the website and it won’t work, did it expire or something
Just saying really appreciate that there is a more affordable diffuser linked :)
Great video!
Thank you!!

What mouse did you use??
Not your mothers curl talk mousse :)

What the hell does "until you see that cast form" mean? Please explain.
