I will forever be a fan of the wet brush for brushing my hair. For styling… sure, I’ll style with whatever but to brush my hair out, I have to have a wet brush. Thanks for this video! 🥰
Why do wavys feel they have to apologise??? We have the best of both worlds 😊 I find air drying isn't the best option, it tends to look flat so diffusing adds the volume then define with a light oil like quai .
I came here to say EXACTLY this! No one seems to talk about it, but I've definitely noticed some acne on my back since styling my hair wavy after years and years of none at all! I was able to connect the dots, but I definitely think it should be talked about more!
I appreciate your tip about the importance of brushing curly hair when it’s wet. I feel like this is a confusing aspect in the curly girl community. Thanks and I agree! I love your curly hair and I’m more wavy like you. There is a need to for more wavy hair content! Thanks ❤ I am a new sub.
Your curls are SOO gorgeous!! I also make curly hair videos and this was so fun to watch. I’m obsessed. 😍 I subbed and am excited to watch all your other vids.
It’s so hard to find someone who has finer hair and doesn’t use a ton of product! I can’t use a ton or it goes super limp. I have the bounce curl brush but I find it makes my hair limper. Maybe I’m using it wrong?
I feel like every hair type is different! I’m not a fan of the brush either, I think it might work better for thicker hair types 🤷🏼♀️ or just certain curls! Whatever works best for your hair 🩷
Oh wow, great results! Your curls look just as good as ppl who spend so much time twisting all their hair in a million little locks. Lol I'm definitely going to give this a try now 🤗❤❤
You definitely fall into the 2c-3a category. Which brush is that pink one? I tried the tangle teezer and all it did was yank tons of my hair out. I have 2b/c wavy hair, very long, and mostly high porosity. Tangles are a nightmare. I detangle with conditioner in shower but it takes at least half an hour to do. They are just so stuck together since my hair is extremely dry. Of course, I stick to the curly girl approved products and have been cgm for almost two years now. It's just a real struggle because I can't seem to find a brush that actually detangles, with a grip too. I have the Wet Brush, wide toothed shower comb, and a Cantu detangling washday brush that also seems to rip it out. The teeth are so tight. My only goal is to always have the best beachy wavies possible. 🧜🏻♀️ Oh, and I have a diffuser. If not for the diffuser, it would probably take 8 hours to dry. And, I've got a bad back, so wash day is my ultimate struggle, but I will not cut my hair. Is there a specific brush that can help me? Thank you.
New to you great minimalistic video on how to do curly hair I love this because my hair is a lot like yours it's curly curly wavy frizzy very soft-spoken so I couldn't understand the name of the products could you please list the products below I would greatly appreciate it so I can go grab them
You can also brush your hair in the shower while the conditioner is it as there will be more slip, less pulling.
YES! I forgot to mention that. Great note ☺️🫶🏼
I do every time❤
If you went upside down and got it and scrunched closer to your roots ,you might get more curl higher up
Thanks for the tip! I tried this yesterday & it worked 😊 so much floof!!
Yes! I'll forever style upside down!

LOVE the wet brush! I just always struggle with dust collection on it. But def a great choice ☺️

Thank you for the note on acne. I accidentally discovered this myself but you’re the first I’ve heard actually warn about it ❤
Righttt I figured it’s worth the warning!!

It's very nice...you don't use a mousse or gel? Just curl cream?
I recently started using mousse! I have an updated video for more defined curls 🫶🏼
break the curly girl rules and actually scrunch your hair while you are diffusing it! You won't regret it! Oh and use medium heat!
Yess I love that look too!!☺️
I just bought the Granier I havent tried yet.
Hope you like it ☺️ I def get more defined results if I use a mousse over it!
I am currently using a mouse.
I was wondering what hair dryer are you using, brand name and where you got it? Thanks
Hi Julie! Haha I actually took my boyfriends bc his was nicer than mine 🤣 it is a CONFU Pro Hair Dryer! Let me see if I can find a link for you.
amzn.to/3SedIPR this model is the closest, but I can’t find it exactly in this black! They have other similar models in black.
