Believe it or not, watching your videos makes me feel like I actually have a dad who cares and is teaching me like a father should. My dads a strung out dead beat and watching your videos fills that void. I love your videos and you make it feel like you’re our family.
Damn man that sucks. I have a similar experience but my dad waited until his late 50's to get that way. We built a 1970 roadrunner together when I was 18 that was titled in both our names but had "or" instead of "and" on the title...he sold it without asking me. It was the only thing I had that reminded me of what he used to be...he died alone. It really was a shitty decade between us.

Great Job Alex. My wife does not drive so I do get to have the same experience that you have with your wife unfortunately. It was so awesome to see the excitement in your wife's face as you guys were cruising around.
48:36 Not sure how fast the train was going at that time but, "Chicago Metra speed: The top speed allowed for Metra trains is 79 mph." Thought that was cool. They caught up pretty quick
That is awesome that you were able to do that for your wife, Alex! I know she's gonna love that car. I know you have a LOT going on for the channel but one of my favorite type of videos you did were the ones like the old Ford Focus RS (Frank Focus) video where you would talk about different manufacturer defects and how the defect was handled. Alex, such a cool wife...she's having lots of fun driving and testing out the power on the mustang where most others would be too timid. Have a great life!!
So true about the rain, I got my 87' GT 5.0 plated on a rainy day, spun out twice, ditched it once... Didn't hurt a thing but had a new respect for posi traction that very day! 🤣
the most awesome thing is to see Alex´s bright smile about the fact, that he knows, that he made a very fabulous present to his loved one - I love that and I hope I will somehow have the oppotunity to do the same to someone I really love...
The factory coil covers would have been the gray 'Powered by Ford' plastic ones. However, the ones you have are the official Ford Racing metal coil covers, hence the OEM markings on the backside. Part number is M-6067-50BK. Also, the reason the 'Brembo' calipers have a bumpy casting is that those aren't real OEM-Brembo calipers. They're reproduction castings by Power Stop. You can tell since they have casting flash on the top front of the face that real Brembos don't have (as well as missing the Brembo and FoMoCo cast-in information on the back half). They'll work just fine, but don't conflate the quality level of the castings between the two.
Alex, you are sitting on UA-cam gold. If you and your wife started reviewing fast car or just cool cars in general, with a ride along like this. This would be huge!!
For rear LSD differential the friction modifier is needed in gear oil. And also front strut brace is from the v6 mustang, strut brace for v8 GT looks way better.
The reaction your wife had when she punched it was priceless. I love Mustangs. They are so fun to drive. I owned a 65, 66 coup, 69 Mach 1 and a 71 Mach 1. I also owned a 79 4 cyl pace car Mustang. They were a special edition Mustang with the T tops, silver paint with the Mustang horse decals on the side. I really would love to have one like your wife has. That's a beast. Hope she doesn't have a lead foot. Great Video.
Hey I have the same little white heater in my garage lol. It works a lot better on the ground instead of hanging on the wall, and you can stand in front of it and get some heat up the back when it's real cold which is amazing.
Enjoy Mrs. Legit! The family that shares hobbies together, stays together! I am happy for you and the family! Will you be at the Turkey Run on Daytona over thanksgiving?
If Hellion tells you to run factory plugs, run the factory plugs. Unless there is/are someone/some people legitimately qualified from a good performance shop in here, the opinion of most people here don't matter when it comes to spark plugs due to the fact that they don't know what they're talking about. Also, good on the tuner for using SAE rather than STD to try to make their numbers look better.
Alex I don’t have any experience with brisk plugs but from what other people have said they don’t last very long and are more suited for higher boost levels most people run ngk 6510’s gapped at minimum of .028 down to .023 also they recommend running 5w50 oil in boosted applications especially with more heat from the turbos.
There’s a wire you need to unplug in front of the intake on right side when you dyno the car. The car applies the brakes on the dyno because its thinks you lost traction. It’s also why some Mustangs might not get accurate dyno numbers.
yessss... slightly bigger turbos at a minimum and e85 is an absolute must... will probably have to upgrade the fuel system if it is just on a boost a pump w/ factory fuel lines/pump
Hi Alex! I am from the Czech Republic - the country where the spark plugs were made and I have conflicting experiences with Brisk plugs. I used to run them on my motorbikes - Kawasaki 500cc ER-5 (silver one) and old Jawa 2-stroke (basic one) motorbikes. On two strokes runs flawlesly with no problems at all but in the ER-5 the inlet tip came loose from isolator and accidentaly causes misfires. And I almost tore apart whole fuel system because I thought it s related to fuel issue. 😃 ( In past I had some troubles with stuck choke on one carb and it behaved very similarly) After that I immediately changed them to just basic Denso spark plugs recommended by the manufacturer and after that no problem at all. So you definitely do the right thing with changing them to OEM ones. 👍👍

The smile when she saw it and said that you bought a new car is great, lucky man having a woman that gets excited over the same things that make you excited
What kind of car does your wife drive? Is she into cool cars or nah?
Haha I wish
2009 mazda 3 lol
Range Rover Evoque. She's always been into cool cars.
N55 X1 w/ a tune. 😂..😅
She drives a 4cyl Altima for fuel economy right now. But loves 2 door V6 accords and altimas, jeep tj and 4 runners.
Great Job Alex. My wife does not drive so I do get to have the same experience that you have with your wife unfortunately. It was so awesome to see the excitement in your wife's face as you guys were cruising around.
You are the best Alex & Peter thank you!!! Alex you look like the papa John’s Guy!!!!! Hahaha 😝 lol 😂 😂
45:27 The terror on her face was awesome! Enjoy your new ride.
Would love to see more videos like that.
that smile is amazeing you two have me all smiles
Your videos are just what the DIY (sort-of) mechanics wanted to see and hear... Outstanding Alex!!
Question: should the inside of the calipers, where to the brake pistons come out, also be masked before painting?
Lucky to have a wife that walks in the garage and is expecting another car she seems cool as hell man and you guys have a great dynamic.
Dude, you guys seem like two cool people. Bet you’re great parents. Awesome content
My gosh Alex, your wife has two stage facial expressions! and eyeballs that keep growing! - first stage when she floors the Mustang, second stage when the Turbo's spool up!
Nice to see she did two more runs after saying "one more time"
Watching her eyes intensify as the boost and power comes on is so cool . Enjoy your new ride and congrats on the build guys .
Love the sense of humor! 9 out of 10 mechanics agree you should refill the oil after draining/oil change... There are always unassuming facetious comments like this and I wonder how many people think you are being serious. Good stuff.
Alex I love your wife's reaction to her new whip, your both lovely people, & it's great to see a husband & wife enjoying the passion for cars, Rj in Oz
MY GOD!!!!! I love her response. Not as shockes as the Cadillac but still awesome!!!!!!!
THAT WAS YOU!!! I’ve seen a white Mustang out and about with the decal on the rear window and when I saw it I was like “Naahhhhhh, he’s a GM guy, that must be a fan of the show.”
The look on your wife’s face when she hits it hard is priceless.
Another great Video!! ...always great to see your lovely wife...and she has the best SMILE!
Thumbs up for how likeable & genuine your wife comes across!
47:10. The part where she air quotes your "legit street quarters" Is classic!
That “it just got real” look @46:50...fantastic!
All the best for you guys, you're such a super cool couple & your keeping it real which is all that matters, have a nice life
I'm VERY surprised you didn't tape over the pistons on the Brembo calipers when painting
Alex I don’t have any experience with brisk plugs but from what other people have said they don’t last very long and are more suited for higher boost levels most people run ngk 6510’s gapped at minimum of .028 down to .023 also they recommend running 5w50 oil in boosted applications especially with more heat from the turbos.
lmbo, I love that face when he said, "I'm one of those 9" was just great. Great video, keep up the good work guys!
Great to see your wife's reaction to turbo power, she loves it. Very nice sleeper of a mustang.
love it ! your wife really seems to like the power as she gets used to it, she'll love showing her friends... )D
On my Boosted Gen 1 coyote I really like the ngk 6510 gapped to .028 is what my tuner told to gap to for 10psi on pump gas.
It’s great to see the “Real Boss” drive her car and approve of your work. 😅
Great job Alex!
I find myself smiling through all of your videos. Great work!
There’s a wire you need to unplug in front of the intake on right side when you dyno the car. The car applies the brakes on the dyno because its thinks you lost traction. It’s also why some Mustangs might not get accurate dyno numbers.
You and your wife have a good relationship.... I like that car a lot!!!! She looks super happy too :)
At 8:26 on the Dino pull your driver side turbo grounds out on the waste gate pipe. You can see a small spark.
yessss... slightly bigger turbos at a minimum and e85 is an absolute must... will probably have to upgrade the fuel system if it is just on a boost a pump w/ factory fuel lines/pump
"I didn't think it was going to go anymore.... and it DID!" Best quote ever.
The timing of the wife gunning it the same time the train pulls up and out running the train was awesome 🤙🤙
Alex once again, you outdid yourself with this car for your wife. It was so nice! You made me miss my wife but it's okay cause it's a good sad. I have nothing but good memories for almost twenty four years. One of our last memories was going to J-Lo's 50th birthday tour... Would you believe that was the day that New York City completely dark! Here we are stuck in Madison Square Garden. I got a little nervous for her cause by then she had already starting to become disabled 😢and couldn't walk as fast anymore but I didn't care even if I had to put her on my back and carry her. At first it was heartbreaking cause she only saw like the first half hour of the show, and they had a make up show that Monday night but I had to work and I couldn't take her 😕. But God is good 🙏 Alex, I went online and she was performing that Friday 7/19 in the Prudential Center, that's in Newark, New Jersey! That was the exact day of her birthday. We are both Cancers ♋️. I'm July 4th and hers was on the 19th. We had an awesome time... Unfortunately, she past away December 19th, 2021 at the age of 56yrs young. 😭 This past year has been very difficult for me here, she was my everything, everything that was good and pure in my life. Such a kind soul! I could go on forever on how beautiful and inspiring part of my life she was to me. I Luv U Ma! Alex,I want to apologize putting this in your comments, but I just had to let this out, all of those feelings and memories hit me like a ton of bricks when I saw this video of you and your wife. May you have many more beautiful memories and years to come with your other half and believe me when I tell you if you have something good and beautiful to say to your wife today don't wait, if she's sleeping wake her up! It doesn't matter she is going to love you ❤️ for it even more gifts are nice but your time together is priceless! Tomorrow is not guaranteed... You don't want to live with regrets! It took everything right now for me to finish this comment if you want to call it that. Have a bless evening or should I morning cause it's already passed 3 in the morning! Keep doing what you're doing. This is what God intended for you to do. Don't let no one tell you different. This is only the beginning for you, trust what's in your Heart...
P.S.
I hope you get a chance to read this, it means alot to me...
