@ProjectPanda13 in more way than 1. This accord has been bit of a pain on the ass. Almost everything has been replaced by me. Last owner clearly abused the shit out of it.
@@imperialtekk9443 , I know the feeling on having to performance all the maintenance on a neglected car. But props for ya, cause you’re going to have a well reliable car after all the work.
Leaking from the front side or at the back by the firewall? It can be tricky to seat the valvecover. Took me a couple of times, especially the spark plug tube seal.
@@ProjectPanda13 it’s leaking from the front I haven’t looked in to see where it’s coming from yet. I’ve sealed it correctly but I’m thinking it’s sum else I just got to find it.
@@JediMaul , gotcha. I’d be curious to know what you find out. Might save me some trouble in the future if it happens to me. Keep me updated if you can. Thanks in advanced.
Your spark plug seals look to be installed upside down. Bead should bulge above hole, not sink inside. I just did a 4 cylinder 2.3 this weekend. One at a time using the old factory seals in as a reference
Thank you for the information, I’ll do some checking and see if I can find a factory service manual to confirm. I’ll pull them off if I have them upside down.
I appreciate the response and checking out the video. I’ve always hated quiet videos so I figured I’d add it to mine. Was it volume too loud that it’s hard to hear my voice? If so, I’ll be sure to low it on future videos
I recently bought a 2000 accord. This video has been very helpful. Thank you

There a hose or line connected to the top of my rear cover idk what it’s called but I need one
does it go to the PCV valve?
How did it go?
Thanks for viewing the video.
It’s been running well. No more oil on the headers and no more smell.
@@ProjectPanda13Awesome! About to do the same job
@@ericvannielsen, be sure to double check that spark plug tube seals are seated correctly.
I helped a friend do his and I had one pinched.
Thanks for the stupid unnecessary music BTW.
