Einfach gigantisch.
Früher, wie heute.
Für mich ein Stück Musikgeschichte.
My dad listened to Jethro Tull I was raised listening to them and we used to watch concerts on VHS and DVD. My dad passed away and this band is one of our biggest reminders of our father. This is music.
Preciosa historia. Gracias por compartirla
your father had excellent taste in music.
There will never be the like of IAN ANDERSON again. He is in a class of his own.I love his stuff.
Loved them from the very first time I heard them and even more as time passes. There's no comparison to anyone or anything else.
♡Liked you Liked, understood a passion in remembering, thats what moving us through times♡
only, nobodies? Leave a space for new ones, I founded great new projects, can't believe that someones will make me change same opinion you got ‽
Thick As A Brick is close to the best album ever released imo & It underlines everything Ian Anderson is trying to tell us.
This is simply phenomenal.
This is a true statement
Einfach Kult das Lied... Und Ian Anderson einfach SUPER TYP.. ich mag seine Songs.. Top Typ
Already I know how good this will be. Happy Solstice, Mr. Anderson
Thick As A Brick is close to the best album ever released imo & It underlines everything Ian Anderson is trying to tell us.
This is simply phenomenal.
I saw Jethro Tull live in Toronto when Thick as a Brick had just came out. WHAT A SHOW.
Aqualung was one of the first albums that I ever bought. I would listen to it without ever lifting the needle until I turned it over.. Thanks for this. Spectacular!!
My first Jethro Tull album was Benefit and I was hooked and have loved them ever since then!♥️💖❤💗
One of the best bands ever. I listen to them since 30years and I had the pleasure to experience them live on stage 4 times.
Just great music!!!
Fully agree 👍 I have been listening since 27 yrs😊and will continue to do so❤
One of the greatest bands ever formed.
Ian is still my all time favorite frontman! ❤❤❤
Excellent. . . I saw them many years ago, Ian Anderson is beyond compare
YES! Thank you! I've been looking for this version for years! Had it saved but then it got taken down like back in 2013! THANK YOU SO MUCH!! 🤗🤗🤗
Great music no one compares to that talent have followed them for years.
No Way To Slow Down.
Tull Forever 🎸
Amazing
Ian is off the friggin charts!!!
Top shelf production, Ian Anderson talented Vocal, and flute. I can’t say there is any other flute player in any other genre as multitalented as he.
Their longevity and originality is astonishing. Martin Barre is easily one of the top 10 rock guitarists of all time. Ian Anderson is at the top of any list of rock singers and song writers, not to mention a virtuoso flautist. And yet, they are NOT IN THE ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME.
Martin Barre...severely underrated, but not to those of us in the know.
My daughter and I saw Martin last year. Our first concert after the pandemic. He and his band reminded us how much we had missed live music.
Wonderful Band.
It amazes me they could fly to Germany & perform after playing @ Blossom Music Center, near Cleveland, Ohio the previous night. 9-9-99 a great show I'll never forget.
Oh my olds and lovelys Friends since ever.
Been a fan since 1968 and still are today in my eyes best band ever 🏴🌲
I love this song and the melody from the first time I heard it. The flute is professional as well as the piano and the guitar!
With the tinkly bells in the beginning, this Locomotive is just wonderful for bringing a cheery holiday feeling! Thank you for sharing it! JT has such a big full sound that the notes go deep inside!
And when that piano storms in....the chords we all know. It's magical
rock and roll with a melody one of the best
Love the tull since age 13 now 57 and still think there are brilliant
One of the greatest live shows I've ever seen. Both times. Even without the acid.
Nn serve diventare tossici ...
@@lunarossa9485 Grazie. Tu fai te, io faccio me e vivremo tutti insieme in armonia. OK?
I love this song. And what is great is I haven't seen this version before. Fantastic no matter What!!
I saw JT once. Spokane, WA, 1972. Wonderful performance, blew me away. Their warm-up act that night was a band no one had ever heard of. They introduced their first song, which had just been released or was going to be released shortly, called "Witchy Woman".
I saw Yes in Mpls in 1972 and the Eagles opened for Yes (Witchy Woman). Wow
What a Masterpiece! I do adore this wonderful song! 🎶❤️🎶 (The waiter serving champagne during the keyboards solo...😊... what a touch of class! ✨🍾✨)
One of my favorite rock and roll lines "Ive got a pipe and I've come to play"
I saw JT in DFW, not sure what year, 2 1/2 hours of nothing but Jethro Tull!! They did a short break, then another 1 hour. Great show!
What a Talented man. I saw Tull in Salt Lake City around 1975. It was UNBELIEVABLE!
Simply beautiful.
Awesome & profoundly the best !!
My Nikon FE2 and Kodachrome film. Great memories!
Extraordinário como sempre! Amo muito!!
Very first album I owned was Aqualung. Long time go!
You music is amazing! I first heard it as a boy back in 1980!
right into the heart as always
Outstanding !
I like this song, … J.T. are so beautiful music….❤️😘❤️
In the early 70s we stood in line for two days in the rain in Hawaii to get tickets! Worth the crotch rot we got!
thx!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! saw em in decalb il. at northern il. univ... way back...
Tempos bons.
Simply beyond words
Great music, nobody will ever be able to replicate it or surpass it.
Brilliant. ❤️
Excelentes recuerdos. Saludos desde Venezuela.
My favourite period of Jethro Tull, was the time between Stand Up and Benefit. Both records, especially Benefit take me back to the time my brother and I went halves to buy the vinyl. Obviously changing the rhythm section was going to facilitate the specifics of the arrangements and enable songs to flow, but some of the quirky uniquness of the sound of albums two and three gave an original texture to the band, and made thrm standout ( in a good way. Later versions of the band were just as cool and musically valid, but somehow, no matter how brilliant the songs were, the overall tone and character of the band was not as pronounced and individual as it was with keyboards added to Glen and Clive.
Amazing band.
Nice!
*Salvador Dali*...
and
*Ian Anderson*
.... there was always this uncanny resemblance....
The fact, that they are two generations apart from each other and come from distant places in
good old Europe
(Spain and Great Britain)
shows the intrinsic connection within this continent.
***Two very talented artists.
***With a rather eccentric way of life.
***Adored by myriads of women, even right into their elder age..
***Despite this ubiquitous admiration a very strong and unwavering bond to an outstanding woman (Gala/Shona).
Merry Christmas to Ian and his beloved ones.
May he be going strong for many years to come.
And a commemorative salute to good old Salvador.
Always spiritually around, when Ian is doing his wild eyed performances.
Love it
Eterno .....
Astonishing...
Saw Them playing in Brussels!! 😊
Classic. Virtuosi all of them. Flute tone gorgeous. That cocktail bit during the piano solo was crazy! I actually learned how to play that piano intro by ear. But my fingers did not always obey. Hard to do under performance pressure. That's what improv is for I guess, lol
The magic Song ✌️
I miss some of the past lineups. Loved Noyce on base, Giddings on keyboards and of course Doane Perry on drums. Naturally, Martin Barre goes down in Tull history as THE man on guitar. Oh well, without Ian , you've got nothing. Fan since 1972!
Hit the nail right on the head, digged the double bass drums and Martin Barre is world class
My old motto "No way to slow down" then I got older.
Yes.
I was just listening to Stagger Lee by The Clash and one minute into the song for some reason I got switched to this. If I'm gonna be screwed out of a Clash song, I can't imagine a better place to end up. Thanks screwy you
Ian Anderson is the best!!
What if Cliff Burton was in the background, in the audience? More Bass! Well not too much. It's not Motorbreath! Wooohooo!
On this rainy dreary nite you got reeve it up You'all!!!!
It was like a mad genius was working on a death ray to take over the world. Then he had a change of heart and became the flute playing frontman in a rock band and conquered the world in a different way.
GREAT visual!
Indémodable, éternel locomotive breath !
É nois🤘🤘🇧🇷🇧🇷😍🔟
the best
l like how they play the intro different every time
Cracking stuff, Gromit. Like King Crimson, Tull is one of those rare bands with very few 'tribute' acts...🤔
If, sand only if you're honest with yourself,.listen carefully ,very carefully, and even if you know squat about music. You will rate them among the masters of their craft
🙌☀️💎❤️🙏❤️✨
Vi amo
Nessuno fermerà MAI LA LOCOMOTIVA!!!!!!!!
All those silly songs in music class he had to practice. Time pulled away from his friends and sports to practice his notes and yet turned into one of the best musicians of his time
showzaco ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

kool
:07 to :29 reminds me of Mike Oldfield's Tubular Bells.
Man they gotta make a Biopic of this band. Fuck a Beatles or that new Elvis one. This band is what I want to learn the origins of.
When asked about this Ian said that it would be the most boring movie ever
