I saw a documentary on Iran International TV. It was about an Iranian man who is a massive fan of Ian Anderson and was imprisoned for importing his music to Iran. The TV station organised for him to meet Ian. It was very emotional and he was crying. If Ian or anyone else has a copy of this documentary, I'm sure his fans (including me!) would be over the moon to see it!
So many memories so many concerts Fillmore East premier of AQUALUNG and Carnegie Hall benefit for Phoenix House -Strawberry Fields Festival Ontario A bit sad to see here the great Martin Barre whom Ian dismissed after decades of incredible guitar service
In the mid 2000s this Ian Anderson made a crazy decision to play a gig at Salford Cathedral in the centre of Manchester. I never missed his concerts dating back to 1990. I couldn't see because there were pillars in front of me and I had to go next door to the shambles pub to use the toilet. Fast forward to 2023 and I had a ticket for St George's hall in Blackburn but had to miss it because of damn COVID.!!😢
That is a bit of theater that Ian does at the end of this song. He has been doing that for many, many years. This is a pretty angry song. When he was younger he would kick a stool across the stage during the song. Check out the video for this song from The Isle of Wight show 1970, if you want to see how was done in the old days. Very angry.

I love how Ian messes with Martin. I love TULL.
Outstanding ~ on one foot. Tight band.
Question for the quantum computer - how many young flautists did Ian influence for some fifty years?
and they will be in SoCal to play the day after my 64th birthday.
Master Bluesmen practicing their craft.

Oh My God! "And don't call on him to save,,,"
One of my favorite albums is Heavy Horses.
Thick as a brick is the best by far
I like Andrew Giddings intro of Flying Dutchman from Stormwatch album.
Hellwach und klar und dermaßen präsent, dass die Vergangenheit und Zukunft in der Gegenwart zusammenfließt
It almost looks like he hurt himself at the very end. Especially after someone said oh shit. That certainly was a wonderful performance.
'someone' was Ian, 'Sherlock'... 🙄
