That Orthax was somehow FAR worse than the Briarwoods or even the Whispered One was a super well done touch as well as a satisfying trope or theme if how righteous wrath can be FAR more terrifying than deliberate malice ever can be.

I can't imagine the kind of iron will someone would need to resist something like that happening to them. Vex and his sister were the only ones who could pull him out of that.
I don't believe Percy forgave Delilah. For all he did was stop Orthax from controlling him. And besides he knew that Delilah can't be allowed to live. Not after what she and Sylas did to Percy and Cassandra.

he didn't ascend via only Jester. he started getting more powerful as he got more and more followers, much after Jester during the course of the actual campaign.
He had way more followers than just Jester. Traveller-con was a testiment to that. And even with those followers, he was still chump change to other actual gods
It was bleed over from Pathfinder so there isn't a direct analog, but the gist is he took warlock for magic initiate in the 5e terms while being a homebrew fighter class called gunslinger.
In game he took magic initiate, to mimic a lesser bargain he unknownly struck. I believe Talisen even said He left it up to Matt if Percy really had a dream the inspired him to make the Pepperbox, or if Orthax actually did appear.
I"m curious as to how you would do this in 5E or Pathfinder (1st and now 2nd Edition) For Pathfinder, I could see it as a 'Corruption' from the "Horror" or "Occult" rules set, but I would have to come up with the various corruptions on my own (with actual 'soul stealing' being one of the higher level abilities).

He no longer becomes a focal point because his story has been told, and it is time to move on. Side characters unless zanny typically become boring unless they are the reason the plot exists or needs to continue. So it's only natural once he reaches a resolution to fall into the background.
Percy became a side character with no significance after his arc in season 1 You guys wasted him. He should still maintain his darkness power and his constant struggle would be staying in balance between sanity and his darkness. That’d make the story way more compelling. Now he’s just a nerdy engineer with unnecessary white hair that has no significant contribution to the battle and story and someone to be hated on and made fun of.

Percy in this season is just someone to be hated on and made fun of while with no contribution. The thing that annoys me the most was that Percy basically got neutered to a nerd with no menance and dignity. All the wasted potential that could have been developed on this character. But you have a point, it's true that other characters need development too. But they can still choose not to waste the potential of Percy while spending time developing other characters.
