This tempo complimented the story it was telling, and by speeding up the tempo of the song, the author practically changed the meaning of the song. And if the tempo was sped up just for the sake of that shot where Percy creates the Weapon and a demon stands behind him, I still don't see anything wrong with just slowing down the video sequence itself. In fact, I don't know why I'm so angry about this, because the video is generally well edited. I guess I'm a music geek...

Man, Percy's Arc with Orthax is such an amazing depiction of how trauma wounds a person. When you're traumatized, you are forced to adopt a toxic behavior to sooth the overwhelming pain of horrific loss. This attachment to the coping mechanism allows one to recover and continue to live in the moment, but at the cost of gradually eating away at all the noble qualities that the behavior was originally intended to preserve. The only way to fully recover is to let go of the attachment and grieve the loss, a brutally difficult task which only gets harder the more you allow the toxic behavior to consume you. As a recovering CPTSD survivor, I'm very grateful to have such an amazing depiction of trauma to point my friends and loved ones to for them to understand. I have personally felt the internal struggle Percy goes through fighting against Orthax to retrain control of his soul so many times, and I'm always inspired by the inner strength on display. Kudos to Critical Role and Titmouse Inc. for their incredible work

Absolutely, you put it into words beautifully - as justified as Percy is in seeking revenge that desire, and the pain that spawned it, opened the door to something that's twisting him into someone he's not and doesn't want to be.
the worst part of trauma is honestly going to such an opposite extreme of the situation that you reach a state that is somehow just as bad (if not worse in some ways) then the orginal trauma. its like how people who grew up in an ultra strict home will sometimes just go crazy the moment they have any amount of freedom and just give into their whims and desires in such a huge way that its harmful, leading to drug/alcohol addiction and sexual promiscuity and decadence.
The 9 people were the main group, The cool kids group.... It was basically the whole school who hated me.... They didn't do anything even the teachers when i asked for help they just told me to grow up and that I shouldn't care if they push me around and such... expect the french teacher... It hurted a whole lot...... What i remember is whenever i talked to other kids they would not pay attection to me, they all acted like i didn't exist.... Even in the previous school i was in.. I was crying one day because people were being mean and a kid in 2 grades lower then me asked if I was all right... After i said I was a little sad, tears rolling down my face. He looked at me and i can see feel it and see it. He told me Oh your that weird kid and just walked off... no longer cared at all..... I hated myself for a while. Then i went to that newer school and i got bullied even worse.... I hate my childhood. My family is great and loves me but high school probably been the best i no longer really care if people like me or not, I got a group of friends now.

Plus if you're not so good on caning dices there is roll20 who will make the total results for you. Do not be scared maybe the rules are something complicated if you are a beginner but once you have the people it will be so much easier.

Congrats. This is the thing that drags me kicking and screaming into the Critical Role fandom. I've seen stuff for it all over the place for ages, but nothing really grabbed my attention like this video. Well done.
Honestly before watching the show, i thought Percy was the main character due to this video, and now i can see i was very wrong. I Love it when there isn't a main character, but a main cast.
This was an awesome video the editing work was great. One thing always bugged me though, even before the Amazon show came out. I get why from a narrative point of view but them stopping Percy from killing Ripley made no sense to me. At that point most of them had already done far worse things than killing a prisoner and personally I've always felt that was one thing Genghis got right. "Leave no enemy behind you capable of bearing arms."
Well they feared for his soul. The more people on his List he killed, the closer he was to Orthax completely overtaking him and destroying any essence of humanity he had. At that point, the rest of the party would have had to step in and possibly kill Percy in order to protect the rest of the world from the destruction Orthax could wield through him. Same reason why they fought so hard to stop him from killing the Briarwoods.

I recently found this song in my saves songs on Apple Music, and was so confused where it came from. But since it was a bop I have been listening to it on repeat I just went to find a music video, and seeing this, i think this is where I found it in the first place…
Perfect fit. The 1st season cemented Percy as my favorite character. His arc was superb. And my opinion hasn't changed by end of season 3. Mind you, I love all members of the group and all of the other characters as well, even the villains. There is no other show in recent times I remember, where I can say this with confidence. TLoVM is currently, imo, the best animated show on Amazon, and the best show for anyone who likes fantasy and DnD.

They're called pepperboxes, because I assume they looked like a pepper mill. They're basically the granddaddy of revolvers.
