    2011 Town and Country Touring - Front L and R turn signals blink at double time, displays bulb out message after swap. No foglights.
    The steps in your video corrected the problem with a new replacement TIPM from an established rebuilder. They offer full phone support, have a link to a video that shows how to open the lighting harness connector, but did not have instructions for this problem.
    Great summary of wiring at 3:52 of your video. Also feedback at 7:45 of video. My light harness had pin 11 blank. I think this is for 'premium foglamps' whatever that means... I DID HAVE TO SWAP WIRES as you described and then front turn signals and foglamps worked properly afterwards. So if one of the foglamp pins is blank, do the swap.
    NOTE: you will have to open the BACK of the connector to remove a breakoff tab to insert the pin into that unused hole/position

    GREAT video, very helpful. THANKS for your extra effort to share what to do and why. Please add (maybe I missed this) the need to unbolt
    the metal bracket to gain better access to all the wiring harnesses.

    Just replaced mine, on 2011 Caravan. At beginning the power didn't connected due to a rusted broken wire, and the fob key stuck in the car, cannot unplug it. After re-solder the wire, all back to normal. Finally both front window can be operated. (I watch this video try to figure out if it needs re-programming or a reset, NO it didn't. Just buy a used one and replace it.

    Thanks bro. 12 caravan. Having the fuel issue no start constant drag intermittent . You can't order the part for recall on jeep or Durango. They literally canceled my orders after I paid. Ordered a rebuilt tipm. Hope it works.

    Thanks for your video. It has invaluable information. Can you explain how to test when we have a bad fuel pump relay. I appreciate it.

    I've been having issues with my 2011 dodge caravan not starting I've got a new battery alternator starter new spark plugs wires ignition coils still nothing I took it to a shop some codes where found v10g1, b10f,b21a1, and b129c when I put this codes in on Google a video came up about a another dodge having the same issue mechanic ran test and Said it was the tipm I called a dodge dealer to ask them if these codes can be accurate and they are telling me they're not sure and they would need to run test on the codes just tired of spending money and the issue isn't being solved

      It's the TIPM. There's a class action lawsuit on this, your year is impacted

    My van is actually driving and even after I turn the vehicle off and turn it back on after hours, it will come back on. The only thing is all dash lights are on and the turn signals don't work, no horn, no head lights, no radio. Alternator is fine, battery is fine. NO BUS is on dash as well. What could it be?

      @@futurenap yes, Thank You for asking! People have actually wasted their money with this issue. For mine it was due to me driving my car in water due to standing rain. Figured that out after much thought. It happened a few minutes afterwards. Basically I had to wait for it to dry out for a couple of days. And I kept playing around with the buttons on the steering wheel to try and trigger it back to normal. Like to reset it. Then it went back to normal. This was all due to the undercarriage getting wet and it got to the TIPM area. Didn't purposely drive into that puddle. Never had that problem since. Just couldn't see me paying $1000 of dollars to replace it. Either be patient or keep coming out of the pockets is what I learned.

    I have 2012 caravan, I use the bypass wire to avoid drained battery, it works great, but from time to time when I try to start the car, nothing happens, no engine turn, not even a click, any ideas?

      Bad key ignition switch.

      Transmission Range switch, inside transmission senses car not in park or neutral.. Just take key out, parking brake off, rock car a bit. You're just trying to slide the switch to it make enough contact to satisfy the ignition circuit

    What are the symptoms for needing this replaced? I dont have starting issues (yet) intermittently on the freeway headlights will start to flicker and accessories will power off and re start...car stalls and restarts instantly while driving. If im at a light or coasting under 10-15mph the car wil die.

      That is definitely a indication that the TIPM might need to be changed

      Why are you swapping pins again? Turn signal? Why would they be reversed on the replaced TIPM?

    • @avalanchereviews2352
      @avalanchereviews2352  3 роки тому +2

      @@ajgonefishin4196 Some need to be swapped. Sometimes the turn signals won't work of you dont swap them. Sometime it will. On this one I ended up having to reswap them. My recommendation is replace the TIPM first and see if the signals work. If they don't work, then go back in and swap them

    Why the need to switch pins?

    • @avalanchereviews2352
      @avalanchereviews2352  3 роки тому +3

      I actually had to put the pins back where they were. I was told that if no fog lights they need to be switched. But I had issues with lights not working, so I switched them back. I think now you switch them if you do have fog lights. My best advice would be not to switch the pins and check everything, and if you need to switch them go back and switch them after.
