We just use hair clips, they cost basically nothing, and they are SUPER easy to install and take off.

What is the size of the tension spring
The only problem with that I would imagine is that it dosent look secure enough for doing something like the choreo in Hamilton for ensemble
There’s an amazing video on Adam Savage’s channel where the A2 describes the mics for Hamilton, btw! Personally I love using wig/toupee clips and elastic, as demonstrated in a lecture from Shure
What kind of microphone is this?
It is a lavalier mic. In this case a 4060, but we now also have an even smaller lav mic - the 6060. :-)
