- Way back in 2008 I was in my basement recording my first hammered dulcimer cd. Found this in the archives. It's on my Hymns cd.
Critically acclaimed musician Ted Yoder is widely considered “the Bela Fleck of the hammered dulcimer." Ted is a National Hammered Dulcimer champion. He’s released five beloved and critically acclaimed solo albums, and become a master educator of the instrument.

The video rocketed up to 53 million views in four days.

I love music of most types and from all cultures, and find much of it astonishingly beautiful, but this rendition of this piece is the first piece of music I have ever heard that has moved me to tears as a result of its absolute breathtaking beauty. Well done!

A ridiculous number of Yoders that aren't Amish are extremely accomplished musicians who do lots of church music. I wonder how many moved to another Anabaptist sect partly because of a love of music.....
