According to the Yeshuat Yisrael haggadah, it comes from the Shira-Pesach (Passover song) "Eliyahu HaNavi" ("Elijah the Prophet"). The melody for it and "Come Thou Fount" always stuck me, and now I know why- I didn't know when I was being raised as a supposed gentile.
WOW! This is one of my favorite hymns (The Catholic Church calls this song Love Divine All Loves Excelling) If I could learn your version it would make for an awesome prelude or postlude to mass.
Had this running through my head at work, just had to hear it again. One of my favorite hymns :)
This is one of my favorite songs ever and I LOVE how you've arranged it and always a joy to watch u play!!!!

So glad you released the new one. I've been looking forward to this. Please keep up the good work.
Thats amazing and beautifal :)
It was originally a Jewish hymn for Passover as well... no wonder I've loved that song.
Wow! I really enjoy your arrangements. I especially liked the syncopation at 3:47 - it was unexpected. How low does your dulcimer go?
