WWE founder Vince McMahon’s legal team filed a response to a salacious lawsuit from former WWE employee Janel Grant. In it, they allege that Grant lied or omitted key facts in her civil filing. it's about the fact that he had ms grant sign an nda, with the promise of three million dollars, with one million up front, and four annual payments of 500,000 each from 2023-2026, and then he welched on the first payment. when grant's bank account didn't grow by half a mil in february of last year, she lawyered up, and here we are...
After seeing/hearing the texts from Vince in this case, it seems crazy hard to believe it is possible for Vince to turn this around and convince people he is exposing her! Even for the most open minds, Vince’s messages were pure filth!

The whole point is "was she mentally vulnerable" due to her claims of her parents being deceased and having financial problems when she began her relationship with Vince. If thats the case, then she is most likely a victim. Now, if she was mentally stable throughout the entire relationship, then she did agreed to what she is accusing Vince of. I find it intriguing though that she starts these accusations against him when she stopped receiving the payments.

He is a public figure so it is harder to win a defamation suit. He would have to prove actual malice, which isn't easy. He probably wants this to just go away either way because true or not it's a bad look.
Things said within the confines of a lawsuit are generally protected by litigation privilege.
